Buffalo chicken pita with fries $12
    Pratishruti M.

They were in the neighborhood a few days ago and we decided to give them a try. The menu is pretty straightforward they have coney dogs obvi, some pita options and 4 kinds of fries including chili cheese and Buffalo which are quite popular. We grabbed the crispy honey and Buffalo chicken pita with a side of shoestring fries. Combos are priced at $12 each the pitas had a generous filing of cheese, lettuce and tomatoes I would have preferred mine with some extra sauce. (The honey mustard needed that extra dose) The food was very fresh perfectly seasoned. Definitely check them out if you haven't and show some love to small local businesses Cheers!

Back to the great food I remember! And they do have the best fries. No more salad on the menu, but probably even better is the Veggie Pita. It was everything that their Greek salad used to have & so delicious wrapped up in a warm pita. So delicious!

Pretty stellar chili dog and crispy fries. These guys have a great menu and something for everyone. Plenty of food if your hungry. Great service and very helpful. Food truck parks can be intimidating for some people but these guys hit it. Great job @detroitconeycruiser we will catch y'all again. @powerfoodpark IG @charlies_culinary_chronicals #localeats #azgrub #eatlocalaz #localaz #azfoodies #azfood #azfoodblogger #azeats #chilidog #coney #coneydog #detroitdog

As a fellow Michigander, I know how hard it is to find truly authentic Detroit grub. Gyros are becoming a little more popular lately, but the holy Grail -- the Detroit Coney -- is tough to find in the valley. When you do find it, you have to hope it's comparable to Leo's or National. Great news! These guys know what they're doing. Super friendly, super quick, and super delicious. Coke or Pepsi? Pffft. Vernors and Faygo all day, baby. Definitely recommend these guys and the great food they put out. You won't be disappointed, whether you're a native Detroiter or not.

UPDATE: Company management reached out to me after this review and offered me an explanation to the difference in pricing and offered me a full refund. It is always appreciated and is a good sign when a company promptly responds to customer concerns. ............................................. Not a great experience. Here's why: I got the Detroit Combo for $13 (though the menu says $12. Weird.) The dog - the chili sauce was warm but the actual dog was lukewarm at best (I'm being nice. It was maybe room temp.) The fries - too salty The burger - decent. 3 stars by itself. The chili sauce was also decent, the buns were dry. The worst part? The hair that I found in my chili sauce after I already finished eating. Gross. The guy giving out the food was very beardy. I don't mind beards - I would just prefer not to eat them.

Every Saturday our neighborhood has food trucks and this week was Detroit Coney Cruiser. BETTER SERVICE THAN A RESTAURANT! They gave us the wrong order and when we went back they still had our order waiting but they insisted on remaking our food. Let me remind you, this food truck is in our neighborhood. But they wanted the food to be fresh no matter what! So generous and Of course the food was amazing!

Reminds me of home! Great seeing Michigan represented out here, Faygo and all! The coney dog was delicious and the fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy! We also got Faygo Redpop (a classic!) and a root beer float to top it off! My boyfriend is now a true believer:) Looking forward to trying them again!

It was ok for me fresh to order but forgot my chilli cheese for fries. Not too big on the type of hot dog it is neither just not my preference

Had their featured gyro loaded fries and boyfriend had the chicken pita. Everything was hands down amazing!

Tried it for the first time and hot dogs were just okay small simple, could of been a different dog like Hebrew National or Nathan's. But gotta say the chilly was awesome! The buffalo style string fries with feta were okay, The Gyro sandwich was good meat was soft but missing and needed the tzatziki sauce to make it more flavorful.

That says it all! Alex and Adán provided excellent service. They were professional, friendly, organized, and made everything so easy for us as hosts. Our family just moved to Arizona in January, so we are still discovering local businesses we can trust, and Tacos Calafia is definitely one we will happily use again and recommend to our friends. My wife and I love to cook and have prepared some outstanding meals at home over our 40 years together. We have extensively traveled and lived throughout the world and as such developed pallets for superb cuisine from all over. As we grew older we gleaned the best of what we enjoy and developed them into our own cooking skills. My wife being Korean born refined her cooking skills in the eastern cuisine like Korean, Japanese, Thailand, and others while I have refined my skills with French and Italian. Prescott is a beautiful place to live but its culinary basis is built on sawdust. We usually cook for ourselves if we want a top notch meal. Now the past several years I have been confined to a wheelchair and transport is very limited. We used to spend winters in Hawaii where we could get great quality meals and seafood whether we prepared them or went out. So our 40th! I wanted to do something special for my wife since I have not been living up to my end of our culinary relationship being confined to a wheelchair. Thus I started seeking out a Chef that would come to our home with his staff and prepare a custom made meal for us. I selected Chef Thomas and Copper State Kitchen. I started by a rather lengthy discussion via phone and followed up with sending Chef Thomas some of our favorite recipes, sufficient for him to develop a five-course meal for us. Chef Thomas is very professional and easy to work with. We refined the meal over the next two days we agreed on the following proposed menu; I supplied the wines. Amuse-Bouche * Fig Jam, Blue Cheese, Red Wine Poached Pear & Arugula Crostini Starter * Prime Rib Poke with sesame crunch and microgreens and pipkuala aioli (based on my deconstruction of the infamous Tiki Bar in Waikiki dish) Pasta Course * Lobster Tagliatelle in a Champagne Cream Sauce Main Course * Beef Wellington with foie gras and red wine demi-glace Dessert * Crème Brûlée (torched table-side) Wine Pairings * Santa Margarita Prosecco DOCG * Domaine Salmon Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc * Tenuta de Sesta Brunello di Montalcino 1996 * Chateau Rieussec 1st Grand Cru Classe 1863 Sauternes 2004 Every course was perfect and very enjoyable. And they cleaned the kitchen meeting my wife's expectations. I highly recommend Copper State Kitchen for your personal culinary experience to celebrate your special occasions.

The beef was so savory and tasty, the potatoes cooked perfectly and the chicken was nicely seasoned and cooked. The bread was great and the herbed butter very good. On the day of however (3/29/25, my daughter's wedding), it was a different story. Though the potatoes were superb, the beef was without the savory sauce we sample tasted and only gravy as an optional add on which wasn't the same at all. There was no separate gravy at the sample tasting. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The toppings for the potatoes were at a separate table with no signage and it was too dark (outside event) to see what each was. The bread was not the Irish bread we sampled at all - rather some kind of fruit bread. And lastly, they made our dinner late by 15 minutes needing more time to get set up.

I would not recommend this caterer. Not one product we…read morereceived looked anything like the photos supplied in this yelp advertisement. The presentation or the food. My son and daughter-in-law were married in October of 2024. They met with Kassandra and ultimately ordered a bruschetta appetizer for each guest, followed by a dinner salad. Dinner was a selection of pastas and dinner rolls. The rolls were cold and hard a rock. I watched as a male child opened and dumped a bag of Costco rolls into a mixing bowl right before dinner service started. At least bring a steamer pot to make them warm, soft and edible. I picked up roll as he dumped them in the bowl and was immediately embarrassed that this is what was going to be served to our guests. If I were a caterer, I'd be mortified to serve food like that. **The bruschetta appetizer my daughter-in-law ordered was NOT served with the dinner and each guest did not get one. ** My daughter-in-law paid for the dinner portion of the wedding and I paid for a charcuterie table to be served during cocktail hour. Kassandra made the executive decision to put the dinner bruschetta on the charcuterie table instead of serving it to each guest as an appetizer. So I paid for a full charcuterie table to feed 120 and my dIL paid for a bruschetta appetizer separately but yet Kassandra combined the two separate orders and served one bruschetta. Essentially we were double-charged for food that Kassandra combined without consulting with us. I also paid $420 for a water and Ice tea station. Kassandra set up a makeshift table with a gallon of water (with some cut of fruit) and a gallon of tea and a little ramekin with 4 sugar packets. That was it. No decor, no cups, nothing. $420 plus an additional 20%tip for WATER and ice tea!!!! Once the dinner service was over, (the reception was just beginning- dancing hadn't even started ) Kassandra took the two containers of tea and water and Dumped them out!! I was made aware of it because people began asking me where the water and tea had been moved to. Meanwhile, I had a 2 - gallon containers in the bar area that were empty that Kassandra should've poured the tea and water into instead of dumping it out. I paid for it, I didn't borrow the tea until dinner service was over. She also took the water and tea and dumped it out on the side of my house. I know this because the fruit that was in the water was strewn about all over the ground beside my House. I also purchased a $1500 dessert table that was filled with stale lady fingers and little round mushy cheesecakes that were served in soggy PAPER wrappers that no one could get them out of without making a big mess. The dessert table underwhelming and disappointing. We also ordered a chocolate fountain.Kassandra brought a $19 Walmart version of a chocolate fountain and started setting it up during the reception speeches. Since the chocolate fountain was small and cheap Kassandra knocked it over right after the chocolate started melting and chocolate went everywhere. All over the table and candles and dessert plates (that I provided) the bricks and soaked into the antique wood table top. It took us two weeks to get the chocolate out of the creases of the wood. We had to treat the table with a product to help soak up all the oil that was in the chocolate and ultimately had to sand the table down. The entire dessert table went straight into the garbage can. There was nothing fresh or homemade about those desserts. I think this caterer is one of those businesses that decided to start a catering business and are figuring it out as they go along. That's fine as long as you are not charging five tier pricing on a 1 tier product and service. She also charged and was paid in advance for an all gratuity which is outrageous especially how the caliber of the product and service was not remotely comparable to the product and service we paid. I called Kassandra the day after the wedding to discuss the situation over the bruschetta - she said she couldn't talk so I texted her my concerns and she never responded back to Me. Again, I would not recommend this caterer. She is highly under qualified and over priced . And, I am telling you that nothing we had was fresh or locally made or homemade. It was Pure Costco through and through. The day after the wedding, once we had a day to settle down and process the event we realized that no one got a Bruschetta appetizer. I messaged Kassandra about that issue and that's when she told me she put them on the charcuterie table to make it "look more full." I paid for a charcuterie table for 120, it should've looked full because that's what I paid for. There was definitely not 120 bruschetta on the charcuterie table anyway.
