Got the pork vermicelli bowl, beef pho, pork pho. It was a cold busy Saturday evening. I didn't enjoy it on several fronts: 1. When you see a menu on every page stating " no returns or exchanges" it gives a bad taste for the quality of the restaurant. 2. When you see 3% on all credit card transactions which is waived with cash, you know they are about saving every penny. But it gives off a bad vibe when you see a receipt with two prices l. 3. Quantity of food abysmal. Look at the pros we ordered: content lacking. Pho was soup mostly. Vermicelli had pork and shrimp and pork spam. Flavor was ok. 4. they put MSG. No they cannot modify this. 5. Service: Sat for 20 minutes before water arrived. Yes there busy. But non deserving of lack of service for that long. 6. Value is not there. Not worth it to me.

This is one of the best pho places we have found since moving from California. We took my entire family, sister, brother-in-law, father, and mother, including our twin girls out to eat on a Saturday night. We were eating a bit early around 5 PM and we were happy to be seated within five minutes. The place was fabulously decorated and had a lot of wonderful mesmerizing decorations for our babies to stare at on the ceiling. Our waitress was very fast and efficient and got all of our orders taken and delivered promptly. She was helpful and recommending the correct size of noodles and even helped. Make sure our girls had the best seating situation since we still had to have them in their car seats. The food was amazing and I can't wait to try all of the other things that looks so delicious on this menu I ordered pho Tai my favorite dish and it did not disappoint. I got it in the regular size bowl, but they offer a mini size as well. We also got the chicken fresh rolls, which were delicious. We will be back and I highly recommend

Absolutely exceptional. The broth alone is next level, easily the most delicious, rich, and comforting broth I've ever had. You can tell everything is made with care and authenticity. This is officially my new go-to spot whenever I'm craving Vietnamese food. Highly recommend if you're looking for real flavor and quality.

My husband has traveled all over the world and all over the United States for work. He said, "This place has some of the best PHO in Michigan!" You won't be disappointed.

I've come here numerous times and every time it always hits the spot. The food is always delicious and flavorful especially their pho, I think this would have to be my favorite pho spot in this area. They also can substitute egg noodles for the rice noodles and that was a game changer for me. The service is always attentive and the food comes out fast. This place does get busy but it's because it's so good. But the times I have been going there we've been able to get seated right away. The ambiance is nice for family dinners and not too loud, you'll be able to hear the people across from you. I will keep coming back here and recommending this place to everyone. Their portion sizes of the rice dishes are superb! I got the fried rice with quartered chicken and they give you enough for two meals!

Wow- this spot is insanely good! We came here for pho and it did not disappoint. I got a shrimp pho and my friend got a beef based pho- both were incredibly delicious and SO flavorful! We also got a taro smoothie with tapioca pearls- I didn't know something could taste so good! The shrimp rolls were flavorful too. Our server was very nice and the food was out quickly. The vibe of the interior was interesting but I love a theme. Overall, we were very impressed and will be back as soon as possible!

Came here as soon as they opened on a Saturday. They get crowded pretty fast. Didn't realize the amazing variety they have on their menu. But, I came for the seafood boil bag. It did not disappoint. The flavor was on point; the sauce is seasoned so well! I would definitely come back and try out other items on the menu.

This is my 4th or 5th time to Detroit Pho and Crab. And every time we're here, the service is friendly, food arrives quickly, and we can normally leave within an hour to continue our visit to Detroit area. The menu is extensive, and I wish I live closer to try out more items! The seafood crispy noodle is definitely one of my favorites and we get that every time we come. We tried the grilled pork roll today which we agree quickly that this will be a staple in future visit as well! The grilled blood clams are very good. The grilled oysters aren't as delicious, but that might be because I prefer raw oysters aren't over grilled ones. We didn't care for the clams in hotpot, as it tasted as if "broth" was just hot water with clams and lemongrass smell. The strawberry smoothie is delicious, but the avocado smoothie tastes a bit like old avocado... Looking forward to trying more items in the future!

Food is absolutely delicious! Definitely one of the best Vietnamese food spots I've tried. Their pho broth is so rich and flavorful I could probably drink the whole bowl. The only thing is that they were crazy busy and service was verrrrry slow.

Is this place open? They never answer the phone when I try to call.

Close Tuesdays. Open the rest of the week.

Question? Did this place close down? I've tried to call the place to make a reservation but no one is…

Yes I've had a problem getting calls through also. They are really busy later in the day. Maybe try calling early around when they first open. Hopefully you'll get through. Very good place though

    Do they deliver?

No.... they don’t deliver. They have only dine in and carry out.

It's relatively small inside, but the outdoor seating is comfortable, and the bar looks like a great place to sit if you can grab a seat. The service was outstanding. Everyone knew the menu inside and out, had great recommendations, and kept everything moving at the perfect pace. We tried both the hot and cold lobster rolls, and both were excellent. The Millennium Falcon seafood tower was the star of the meal--fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely worth ordering. The oysters were some of the best I've had recently, especially considering we're this far from the ocean. The crab dip was unique, flavorful, and something I'd happily order again. The only dish that didn't quite hit for me was the lobster gnocchi. It was presented beautifully, but for my palate there was just a little too much tarragon in the cream sauce. That's more of a personal preference than a flaw in the dish. The restrooms were clean, parking is limited, but so is the seating, so it seems to balance out. Overall, there's really not much bad to say about Voyager. Excellent seafood, knowledgeable service, and a fun atmosphere make it one of the better dining experiences in the area. I'd gladly return

What a terrific experience. Oysters. Radish salad. Wild boar kebabs. Lamb ravioli. Quail. Cabbage. One course after another had us looking at each other and saying, "I want to lick the plate." Our serving team was led by Rachel, who was outstanding. Everyone who brought a dish to the table was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely excited about the food. Even in a packed restaurant, they made us feel like we were the most important guests in the room. The décor is fascinating--eclectic, quirky, and full of personality. Nothing seems to match, yet somehow everything works perfectly together. The drinks were spectacular. They even had my favorite beer, Miller Genuine Draft (yes, I'm old school). And the bartender is a Knicks fan, which certainly didn't hurt. One final tip: visit the website and watch the video about the history of Mabel Gray before you go. It's a wonderful story and makes the experience even more meaningful. We'll be talking about this meal for a long time. Highly recommended.

The place is small and you can see the open kitchen pretty well. If i went back id ask for a table in the back so i could watch the kitchen the best. The food overall was spectacular, this must be the best restaurant in detroit. The radish carpaccio and the goat cheese bread were insane, so much flavor in every bite. All of the savory food was spectacular and the quality of the meats and the freshness of the veggies really shined through in every item. The service was top notch, every dish was well explained and my eating area was cleaned and silverware replaced whenever dirty. The speed of service was amazing, i eat quick and they brought my courses quickly while the group next to me was slower and they weren't rushed, clearly adjusted service for both our groups. I have two criticisms: 1. The chocolate cake dessert was lack luster and boring compared the rest of the menu. 2. I left hungry, the tasting menu was one entree or two smaller items short of the right amount of food. These criticisms are small and overall I had a spectacular experience. 4.7

It's little changes like that that elevate the dish beyond other regular sushi offerings. It was so appreciated! We ordered the spicy tuna roll. It had the excellent tuna and then they put yum sauce on it. That was odd because it masked the beautiful taste of the bluefin tuna, and that made it a miss for me. If you order, do yourself a favor and tell them no sauce. The dragon roll had real snow crab inside and eel and avocado on top. This also had a crunchy topping that I would tell them to hold if I did it again. It didn't really add anything to the dish and it obscurred the taste of the tender eel a bit. Not until I broke open a piece to isolate the snow crab could I truly appreciate the delicate flavor. It got a little lost inside the vibrant roll. The red dragon roll was well balanced and exactly what I was expecting. The bluefin tuna could easily shine on top of this roll. And it did. It was rich and succulent. The tigerlilly roll was lovely and topped with salmon and roe. It says on the menu it was torched. Ours was not. It was perfect the way we got it though, so I wouldn't change anything. I also ordered eel sashimi and the avocado, asparagus and cucumber roll for something refreshing. We all shared the rolls as we had drinks at the bar. Our bartender was attentive, friendly, and brought the sushi along with serving us our drinks. The lychee martini was a hit. What an interesting and slightly tart flavor! It was a light-hearted and fun time and I would go back in a heartbeat .

Service (4.75/5): Our main server was very friendly and gave us a good overview of the menu as it was our first time. They were great and attentive. We were also served by a second server who dropped off our food and disappeared so quickly that we waited a while before they walked by again. When we finally got the chance to ask for soy sauce and sauce dishes, they grabbed the soy sauce from a nearby table and left before we could even get to asking for the sauce dishes. Nothing terrible, but we did feel a little awkward. Food (4/5): Sushi was both good and not good. Of the 3 rolls we ordered, the salmon avocado and tuna avocado were solid; the proportion of fish to rice was great and the fish quality was above average from your typical sushi restaurant. However, the Tigerlily was quite disappointing, especially at $22 for the roll. The roll was torched a bit too long, cooking the salmon almost all the way, but my main gripe was a mysterious creamy sauce that was drizzled on top. The roll ended up being way too heavy and the sauce overpowered the salmon and the little bit of ikura that was sprinkled on top. On the other hand, the chicken katsu sando was really excellent. Chicken was juicy, breading was light and crispy, and the fries were well-seasoned. My only suggestion for the kitchen is to slice the sandwich vertically instead of horizontally; you can see that the bread on half of the sandwich was mostly crust/air instead of the actual bread part. Ambiance (4/5): It's got an upscale, modern feel to it that would probably make a nice environment for a date night or catching up with friends over happy hour. I was there on a Tuesday evening, so it wasn't crowded. There was music playing but it wasn't too loud, so it was easy to have a conversation.

The staff is efficient, and the atmosphere is welcoming. To start, the split pea soup and onion rings are both solid choices. The soup is made in-house, and the panko-breaded onion rings were crispy and firm. I happened to dine in when lamb chops were on special. They were meaty and cooked just right. As for the burgers, Coach sources its meat from Fairway Packing Co. and its buns from Cannelle by Matt Knio. I've tried the All American and the Coach burger. The All American features standard toppings, while the Coach burger is topped with an egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, and a special sauce. Of the two, I preferred the Coach burger, though both were enjoyable. The French fries are hand cut and on the thicker side. The Cajun fries had just the right amount of seasoning, and the garlic fries were well complemented by the cotija cheese and garlic aioli. Fries are not included with any of the handhelds. For dessert, I've had the peanut butter cheesecake. It was rich, with a brownie-like crust. Coach Grille shouldn't be compared to the average bar. While the menu features typical bar food, the quality is well above the norm. Whether you come here for a burger, or something else, you won't be disappointed.

Since this was our first visit we didn't know what to expect but the reviews looked good. We arrived to a packed house and I was surprised how small and crammed it was inside. Dumpy is tree he word is use to describe the inside. Peeling paint and stained ceilings. Ventilation system look like it was straight out of the 70s and never maintained since then. I never thought I'd have to worry about Legionnaires disease but this is the place that stuff like that starts in. Tired, old and dingy inside. I'm not opposed to dive bars and restaurants, in fact I love them but Boodles paints themselves as upscale dining with prices to support that. It's anything but. The tables are crammed very close together and you can't help but bump into the people dining next to you to get to your table. I've been in small, intimate restaurants before with the same type of tight configurations but this was almost ridiculous. We ordered a round of drinks. A Cosmopolitan for me and an Old Fashioned for the boyfriend. The people next to us had a group of 6 and they mentioned they have been waiting for almost 2 1/2 hours for their main course. That was another bad sign. Our drinks arrived and were very lackluster. All you could taste was booze which isn't a bad thing if you were ordering it straight or just on the rocks but a steakhouse like Boodles should know how to make a quality Cosmo and Old Fashioned. We ordered the bread service which doesn't come with dinner and was an additional $6. Nothing to write home about even though they claim it's their homemade sourdough. Personally I didn't feel it was worth six dollars. We each got a Caesar salad and while the salad was a nice portion it was lacking in flavor and very little dressing. We waited for our waitress to come and check on us to ask for a side of additional dressing but she never came around. We ate the salad and finished our round of drinks. I was already skeptical on ordering a main course because everything up until this point had been a miss. Against my better judgment I ordered their signature item: Steak Diane prepared table side. My boyfriend ordered the 16 ounce ribeye. Both entrées come with a side of their lyonnaise potatoes. While we waited for our entrées we each ordered a glass of the house Cabernet. They do give a generous pour so that was a plus. After waiting almost an hour they started to prepare the Steak Diane. It was cool to watch them prepare it table side and after waiting almost an hour I was happily hungry with anticipation. I wish I could say it was halfway decent but it was overcooked. I ordered my steak medium rare in hopes that if it does come out a little more than medium rare it's still pink and flavorful. It was grey inside with no pink at all. Even the sauce it was cooked and was devoid of flavor. How is it possible with all the butter and the garlic they were using it was still lackluster? My boyfriend did say his steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was excellent. The lyonnaise potatoes were also tasty. This was the best part of the entire dining experience other than leaving. After our waitress came back to check on us I told her I was not happy with my main course and that I would like to send it back. She asked if I wanted something else and I said no thank you I'll just take the check. They did take my steak off the bill since I had only tried one bite. My boyfriend had his steak packaged up to go. We just wanted to get out of there at that point. What was surprising is nobody seemed to care or even inquire what they could do better to improve the situation. Every staff member we encountered was very nonplus which makes me think this is not an isolated incident. After paying our bill we walked by a group of people coming in for dinner. They asked us how everything was and I said well we are leaving and if you leave now you can save yourself three hours of your time only to be disappointed.
