What a find! My wife doesn't eat shellfish but I'd been craving a good seafood boil. We got the best of so many worlds here. The crab and shrimp and flavor I wanted, the fried chicken she'd been craving, fried rice, and delicious Vietnamese rice paper rolls. Servers were friendly and attentive. Price was reasonable. We'll be back for pho next time!

Been wanting to try this place for many years and had time to go finally. I didn't hate no love it. It was more mid for me. I did enjoy the smoothie with boba. I miss have smoothies/boba drinks made this way. I did like the huge menu because there are so many choices of options. I did like the scallion lobster although it was messy to eat. The flavor reminded me that that canned chop suey I ate as a child. I felt their prices were kind of high for the area. Just my personal option. I wasn't a huge fan of the pho broth, but I didn't hate it either. I'm indifferent bout it. But my noodles were very clumped together and hard to break apart to eat them in the soup. I would have preferred more white onion and not more green in the soup. The meat choice (brisket sliced beef) was ok. The price for the bowl was reasonable. The crab pho was not worth the price. This was over priced I feel. Maybe I would give them another try and try their traditional plates. The chicken quarters looked good and so did the seafood boils. Service was kinda slow. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come to our table and greet us. We got water and then we wait a little more time for a waiter. Overall the service was not bad. Our waiter was pretty cool. Restaurant wasn't dirty but there were some flies buzzing.

OK this place is spectacular and serves excellent seafood-themed Vietnamese food, as well as actual seafood such as crab. Their oysters are amazing and their seafood gumbo is delicious. Also their egg with rice cake dish is incredible. I also got their shrimp pho which is exceptional. Very attentive and accommodating service. Interior is very atmospheric and evocative of the high seas - seafood, etc. Highly recommended if you are in Warren / Madison Heights!

Got the pork vermicelli bowl, beef pho, pork pho. It was a cold busy Saturday evening. I didn't enjoy it on several fronts: 1. When you see a menu on every page stating " no returns or exchanges" it gives a bad taste for the quality of the restaurant. 2. When you see 3% on all credit card transactions which is waived with cash, you know they are about saving every penny. But it gives off a bad vibe when you see a receipt with two prices l. 3. Quantity of food abysmal. Look at the pros we ordered: content lacking. Pho was soup mostly. Vermicelli had pork and shrimp and pork spam. Flavor was ok. 4. they put MSG. No they cannot modify this. 5. Service: Sat for 20 minutes before water arrived. Yes there busy. But non deserving of lack of service for that long. 6. Value is not there. Not worth it to me.

This is one of the best pho places we have found since moving from California. We took my entire family, sister, brother-in-law, father, and mother, including our twin girls out to eat on a Saturday night. We were eating a bit early around 5 PM and we were happy to be seated within five minutes. The place was fabulously decorated and had a lot of wonderful mesmerizing decorations for our babies to stare at on the ceiling. Our waitress was very fast and efficient and got all of our orders taken and delivered promptly. She was helpful and recommending the correct size of noodles and even helped. Make sure our girls had the best seating situation since we still had to have them in their car seats. The food was amazing and I can't wait to try all of the other things that looks so delicious on this menu I ordered pho Tai my favorite dish and it did not disappoint. I got it in the regular size bowl, but they offer a mini size as well. We also got the chicken fresh rolls, which were delicious. We will be back and I highly recommend

Absolutely exceptional. The broth alone is next level, easily the most delicious, rich, and comforting broth I've ever had. You can tell everything is made with care and authenticity. This is officially my new go-to spot whenever I'm craving Vietnamese food. Highly recommend if you're looking for real flavor and quality.

My husband has traveled all over the world and all over the United States for work. He said, "This place has some of the best PHO in Michigan!" You won't be disappointed.

I've come here numerous times and every time it always hits the spot. The food is always delicious and flavorful especially their pho, I think this would have to be my favorite pho spot in this area. They also can substitute egg noodles for the rice noodles and that was a game changer for me. The service is always attentive and the food comes out fast. This place does get busy but it's because it's so good. But the times I have been going there we've been able to get seated right away. The ambiance is nice for family dinners and not too loud, you'll be able to hear the people across from you. I will keep coming back here and recommending this place to everyone. Their portion sizes of the rice dishes are superb! I got the fried rice with quartered chicken and they give you enough for two meals!

Came here as soon as they opened on a Saturday. They get crowded pretty fast. Didn't realize the amazing variety they have on their menu. But, I came for the seafood boil bag. It did not disappoint. The flavor was on point; the sauce is seasoned so well! I would definitely come back and try out other items on the menu.

Wow- this spot is insanely good! We came here for pho and it did not disappoint. I got a shrimp pho and my friend got a beef based pho- both were incredibly delicious and SO flavorful! We also got a taro smoothie with tapioca pearls- I didn't know something could taste so good! The shrimp rolls were flavorful too. Our server was very nice and the food was out quickly. The vibe of the interior was interesting but I love a theme. Overall, we were very impressed and will be back as soon as possible!

This is my 4th or 5th time to Detroit Pho and Crab. And every time we're here, the service is friendly, food arrives quickly, and we can normally leave within an hour to continue our visit to Detroit area. The menu is extensive, and I wish I live closer to try out more items! The seafood crispy noodle is definitely one of my favorites and we get that every time we come. We tried the grilled pork roll today which we agree quickly that this will be a staple in future visit as well! The grilled blood clams are very good. The grilled oysters aren't as delicious, but that might be because I prefer raw oysters aren't over grilled ones. We didn't care for the clams in hotpot, as it tasted as if "broth" was just hot water with clams and lemongrass smell. The strawberry smoothie is delicious, but the avocado smoothie tastes a bit like old avocado... Looking forward to trying more items in the future!

Food is absolutely delicious! Definitely one of the best Vietnamese food spots I've tried. Their pho broth is so rich and flavorful I could probably drink the whole bowl. The only thing is that they were crazy busy and service was verrrrry slow.

Is this place open? They never answer the phone when I try to call.

Close Tuesdays. Open the rest of the week.

Question? Did this place close down? I've tried to call the place to make a reservation but no one is…

Yes I've had a problem getting calls through also. They are really busy later in the day. Maybe try calling early around when they first open. Hopefully you'll get through. Very good place though

    Do they deliver?

No.... they don’t deliver. They have only dine in and carry out.

Bar gabi on their closed working days sometimes host a special event and last night was 4 course fixed menu of Italian food specifically Sicilian and Sardinian with wine pairing. The chefs did a great job in introducing all the dishes they had prepared with Sicilian being on the left and sardanian on the right with their respective wine pairing that their sommelier did a great job finding the best wines from those specific regions. The waiters and serving staff were quick on their feet making sure all the guests have the proper silverware for the next course and the tables were being emptied as and when dishes were being finished. We could also by the end of the night buy the wine we felt was the best, they had a couple of them in spare. They were doing this for 2 time slots last night and their reservations were full for both time slots well in advance. Fortunately we made reservations almost a month ago. I will myself now keep an eye out on any specials they run since last night was by far my best experience in terms of food and wine tasting from the 2 Italian islands.

Can't decide if it's worth it, overall it seems ok. The beets are good. Goat cheese whipped is yummy. Has a good amount of beets for a starter beet, the way it should be. The loaded fries were okay, underwhelming. Generally good about keeping our table clear and clean. Our empty water carafe hasn't been replaced, yet. Don't think they realize it's empty. Took a bit, but got more water before our main meal. The mushroom is yummy. The bass is okay, skin on, nicely cooked, just a tad bland. Not loving the soggy polenta too much. The Brussel sprout Caesar was so-so. Not a lot of flavor to it at all. The salad is okay, plain too. The chicken is skin on, super tender, it's decent. The mushrooms and beets were the best part of the meal.

As we followed our greeter to our table I kept screaming in my mind "no no no no no not that table no!" and she sat us at a table in full blasting sun. Nevermind the fact that there was a whole shaded section in the back part of the patio area. The rest of my group said it was fine and a beam of sun slowly bore a hole through my chest. Drink orders were up. I ordered a fabulous cross between a Moscow Mule and a Mojito. A+++ for the drinks. Mine was loaded with fresh mint from their garden. Same grade for our waitress who explained the drinks in detail and ended with "ugh- are you sure you want to sit at this table straight in the sun?" The other two said it was fine. I was ready to move, but was out voted. She continued to check in regularly and brought extra water. Most items on the menu were hot. I considered the fish, but we all landed on appetizers and we would just bounce from place to place for bites and drinks. We ordered the charcuterie board and the lavender lemon whip with bread and cucumbers for the 3 of us. The charcuterie board was the large version and had minimal offerings. It wasn't full and pretty. It was little piles of each thing on a board. This one definitely wasn't making it into Better Homes and Gardens magazine. There was a little pile of mixed nuts, a little pile of lose green grapes, a little pile of lose red grapes - not all grapes pristine or large and none were on the vine. There were 3 little piles of cubed cheese and 2 types of sliced sausage and sliced pepperoni. There were 8 crackers that were wheat thin size. This matters because we had some onion jam on the board and a nice serving of mustard. There really wasn't anything to put them on except for the 8 little crackers. That part was weird. These weren't elevated offerings. I could have picked up any of these at Walmart. They were not elevated quality either. We also got a lavender lemon infused whip which was their answer to tzatziki sauce. It was excellent but again, we were given so much of the sauce without a bunch to put it on. The cucumbers were sliced lengthways and there was a lovely bread that tasted like sourdough. There was 6 pieces of bread, and these were not particularly large pieces. A lot more would have been needed to use all of the sauce they gave. The proportions were off. All together the bill was over $100 for the 3 drinks and appetizers. If I ever did go back I won't order food based on what I experienced. There are too many other great options within walking distance.
