Clean restaurant, good sandwiches. Great for a quick stop before traveling in down the road!

I purchased some of everything, including a pie, and everything we've tried so far has exceeded my hopes. The best part is the products are sourced fairly close. No meat from Australia here. The information about the different ranches and farms is in their website and on signs in the store. They are also happy to talk with you about them. The store is charming and welcoming. Be aware that parking is tricky. There's a bus stop directly in front of the store and there's only one spot in their parking lat and it's only for vehicles needing wheelchair accessibly. The only place to park in front is on the curb just before the store.

Didn't catch the name of the gentleman behind the counter. But he was very friendly and was willing to answer all my questions and made some recommendations. I picked up some jerky and pepperoni. Both very fresh and amazing!! They both didn't last 24 hours they were so good! Great selection of meat including pre marinated skewers, brats, dogs, etc.. to supply your BBQ and or your freezer. They also have a huge selection of rubs and sauces for that meat! I will definitely be coming back and would recommend you pay them a visit as well. So awesome to have a quality butcher so close to home!

We placed our order online using their website after a quick confirmation on their instagram…read moreaccount that they would be closing an hour early for Christmas Eve (usually open until 4pm). Grateful for them to be open at all and fulfilling the order 30 minutes before close. We arrived exactly as they were about to close and had our 3 sandwiches ready to go. We tried the Fratello and BLTA. Might try their gabagool for next time. Very tasty sandwiches but wished they sliced them in half. They are located in an industrial park close to department of corrections. We aren't Italian but I think they are the real deal considering the specificity in their menu.

When I did stand in front of a staff member working the front, he just continued to do what he was doing and pretty much ignored me until I said something. I guess you just have to walk up and talk to get his attention. (New York City delis even greet you...so perhaps it was an off day for the gentleman). I overheard and witnessed other stuff that was said, but anyways. The actual workers behind the counter/making the sandwiches were just doing their role, so I don't have anything to say besides the fact that my sandwich and my wife's were tasty. She got the gabagool and I got the Italian stallion. We both agreed that the sourdough could be improved a bit, but the deli meats tasted fresh. Would come back to try other sandwiches, but hope the service would be a little bit more attentive/friendly.

Both of our sandwiches were huge and enough for lunch the next day also! We also had to try the lemon gelato but we ate it so quickly no pictures! My wife discovered this place while planning our trip, and she immediately knew we had to stop in…read more It's a locally owned small grocery and deli--it not on a corner anymore (it used to be), but now located on a roundabout. When you walk in, the check-out counter is to the left featuring local baked goods, gelato, etc. There is some seating to the right with some really cool sliced log tables, and the restroom is in the corner of that particular area. The mid-section has shelves of specialty and convenience items, with stairs leading to a second floor which we did not check out. On either side are coolers, produce, and other grocery staples. The deli sits in the back. We loved the overall look of the place--rustic with a bit of an industrial touch, totally our style. The deli menu board behind the counter lists breakfast items, sandwiches, salads, and pizza. They also serve coffee. We weren't in the mood for a deli sandwich but did see they have been awarded best sandwich for quite a few years which is cool! When we saw the pizza prices, we did a double take. A 12-inch cheese pizza starts at $19.89 and goes up to $25.89 for a supreme. Gluten-free adds $4+, and focaccia crust adds $6+. While we appreciate good sourdough (and they use Kalama Sourdough, which has a great local story), the prices felt a bit steep for a 12-inch pizza. So we decided to eat elsewhere. That said, this was still a really cool stop. The shop has character, local charm, and a great aesthetic. We'd definitely come back for coffee or to browse again next time we're in the area. We are even open to trying the pizza and seeing if it worth the price.
