After going on a significant hike to see local water falls, we were starving! Yelp connected us…read morewith Brigham Fish Market and it was the BEST recommendation! First of all, the drive into the town was gorgeous and scenic. What a restaurant with a view! Easy parking and plenty of seating on the inside. Second, the staff were incredible. From the moment we walked in, the young lady taking our order was friendly, welcoming, and helpful with our questions as non-locals. Another co-worker was helpful in helping us to get seated and bringing out food/drinks. Wonderful service, thank you! Third, the food was AMAZING! Everything we ate was fresh, hearty, and so flavorful. We shared a cup of clam chowder and it was so creamy and delicious. My husband got the fish and chips with the Cajun seasoning and it was so scrumptious! And very filling! I got the smoked salmon po'boy and it was so decadent. I loved every bite and walked away stuffed! And, on top of it all, prices were so reasonable for such fresh fish and ingredients! If we are ever in the area again, we are going to be sure to stop by Brigham Fish Market. It is worth every minute of the drive, every dollar, and every bite! Thanks for an amazing lunch!

What more can I say then that the fish I have gotten here has always been fresh and fairly priced…read more Any opportunity I have I stop in and get a few dozen of their little neck clams (an east coast variety) to make either a linguini in white clam sauce or New England clam chowder. The clams I have gotten have always been extremely fresh and they have ice to keep the clams cold until one gets home. I have also gotten frozen shrimp and bay scallops, both of which have been excellent. The bay scallops, like the clams, are almost impossible to find in the PNW - but they have them and they are fresh. Also, a shout out to the employees - they are always very friendly. Note that they also run specials (I believe all the time) on about 3 items at a time. Last time I was in, they had four varieties of oysters at $1 per.

It's a seafood store and the ambience is that of a seafood market. Fresh and frozen treats from around the world. Prices and super affordable. This will be my annual stop.

I'm not making that mistake again! Dickey's is so worth the stop! Inside is so large and spacious. Lots of bins of fresh produce based on what's in season. Blackberries, peaches, blueberries, apples, corn, various greens, melons, green beans, strawberries to name a few. Plus all your produce staples like onions, potatoes, various salad greens, broccoli, spinach, shallots, lemons, limes, green onions, sweet peppers, hot peppers and more. Many of their their products are jarred for sale. They have several types of jams from local farms. Get the red-sour cherry and the marionberry! Oh, and the fig jam, so good with prosciutto on pizza or a crostini. They have lots of Dickey's pickled veggies, too: beans, garlic, asparagus, carrots, giardena. And so many salsas with various fruit. Don't forget to pick up a jar of local. honey - they have all sizes and the prices can't be beat. Very nice selection of local wines, too! Some of their other customers told me to buy a frozen fruit pie, raving about how they taste homemade. I was tempted, but I wasn't heading straight home so I'll make a special trip for that when I'm entertaining or invited to dinner. They were out of fresh eggs, but I'm glad to know they carry them for when my egg dealer is out. Yes, that's what I call her! LOL. Once you start cooking with fresh eggs, there is no going back. They also have lots of pet and farm animal supplies, perennials and house plants. Plenty of parking out front, make Dickey's a stop anytime you are passing through Bingen on Hwy 14.
