My fiancé and I decided to try personal training at Boss Fitness, and now we're completely hooked. The owner, Mario, is fantastic--he creates workouts that are both effective and genuinely fun. Shortly after we started, I injured my Achilles (not at the gym), and I was worried I'd have to stop training altogether. Mario was incredibly accommodating and modified everything so I could keep working out safely without making the injury worse. After years of burnout, I needed a program that would help rehabilitate my body, rebuild strength, and support hormone balance. Ella customized every training session to my needs and goals, and she was incredibly encouraging. She checked in after workouts, helped me understand my form, and supported me as my body adjusted and began the recomposition process. Her guidance made a huge difference in helping me stay consistent and prevent injury. After several months of personal training, I had the strength and confidence to join BossFit's group fitness classes, which are excellent! Although it's quite an…read moreexpensive membership (I pay to go 8 times a month), this workout gives me the boost I need when I'm tired of my other workouts (walking or running). I've never come to F45 thinking, "This again?" Each workout is unique and challenges me physically and mentally. And just when I feel cocky and think, "How is this workout going to make me sweat?" I am sweating, thirsty, and waiting for the 45 minutes to be over! Sometimes I just drive home in a stunned silence that I got through the workout without collapsing. Also, the coaches here are phenomenal! Some will show you the correct form, others will motivate you by shouting encouraging words, and others will sometimes work alongside you on a machine or two if you don't have a partner to keep you motivated and giving it your all. My most hated exercise is burpees. I like the part when I have to get on the floor, but then I have to get back up again! But I am really proud of myself for doing several burpees in a row and not staying on the floor where it's comfortable and safe. ;-) Tired of doing the same boring workout? At first glance the studio seems to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Once class began, she demonstrated and explained each move clearly. We had a small group so she regularly checked on each person to make sure our form was correct. This course turned out to be more challenging than I expected. It was recommended by the instructor to take a few beginners courses until you're more familiar and comfortable with using the megareformer. All of the classes have been great because it's never been too crowded like a big box gym and since it is a small gym, the members have grown into a gym family where everyone knows each other :) The gym also offers a weight room upstairs for the strength workouts and has a few machines downstairs such as the stair master, elliptical and treadmill for the cardio workouts. The front desk staff, Art and Aileen (sp?), have been welcoming and informative. Ask about their contract options and student discounts :) Also, massage therapy is offered by Rocksteady Fitness and I had an amazing massage by Melissa who let me know more about the muscles and a couple kinks in my body :D

All the other gym goers are friendly and there are people of all fitness levels. It really feels like you're just going to hang out with friends at the gym. I'd much rather do an hour of Turbo Kick with Melissa than run an hour alone! Also there is a FREE Zumba class Tuesday nights at 7:30pm. It gets pretty crowded but it's definitely worth checking out!
