It's got a beautiful mix of antique, vintage and vintage inspired wares from a variety of sellers. I saw so many unique paintings, decorations and even furniture that was reasonably priced. Super friendly staff who welcomed us in, pointed out how they are set up and encouraged us to look around. New items come in regularly, I believe. On the day I visited, I had in a mind a particular sized painting-either framed or canvas for a certain wall space. They didn't happen to have it, but I saw plenty of other beautiful decorations that my budget, right now, won't allow for. If you are looking to add a bit of vintage charm to your home, stop here first. They have a beautiful selection, great prices and are a wonderful local business to support!

I also work at an antique store in Pacheco..... so I have some background knowledge here. No fault to the gals helping me but I was told discounts are not often given and when I asked about two pieces totaling roughly $50 ($28+$19) a $3 discount was given. That's less than tax. Again the gals working cannot control the dealer pricing HOWEVER competition is steep. When I can and did find similar items online and it cost less to buy and SHIP to me... perhaps the dealers should take that into account and price fairly. I recognize they are paying Walnut Creek rent for their space but folks won't continue to "shop local" if prices are obnoxiously higher than online. That being said the painted furniture prices are outstanding the work is really well done.

There are a ton of things here - like every thrift and antique shop, you have to be on the lookout. Slow down, explore. You will find things that speak to you. I do want to come back for the compact mirrors. I came in with no intention of buying anything. I left with a new pillbox that was the cutest. The guy counted them and said they are $3.00 each. I said what!?!?! I then mentioned that the sign's read $1.00 each and he said no... $3.00 each. Needless to say, I immediately left the building. It provides scholarships, internships and career development for the young people. I had been here once before last year, but I came a few minutes before closing so I didn't get a chance to see everything. I came back last week and this time I got a good look around. I didn't realize that this place is huge! They have several rooms that are all organized by different themes. They have a room for dining/kitchenware, children, men's, women's, holiday items, etc. my favorite were the two Christmas rooms in the back! It was only June, but it definitely put me in the holiday spirit! I got two Christmas items for a cheap deal! Only totaling me $5! Can't wait to come back again!

Was running errands in the Martinez area and this one was just down the street. What I especially liked about this store is that it wasn't overly cluttered. Usually, if I go in a thrift store and there's too much going on I'll automatically walk out. This one had sections perfectly and just the right amount to search through. Done beautiful antique glasses, they had arts and crafts and the clothing section wasn't overbearing. The deals were a steal. I got 2 greeting cards and 1 book for ... $1! Going to now make it a point to go to all of them to see which one is my favorite. There was a marvel t shirt I regret not getting it was only $7. Adobe had to abruptly close its former location at 929 First Street last year when the building got…read morered-tagged. Fortunately, it didn't take Pat and Jane long to secure this new spot down the street. What they gave up in square footage they gained in foot traffic. It's a bummer that they lost the separate furniture showroom they had at the former location, though. They do still bring in pieces, albeit on a much smaller scale. They already had pretty good turnover of goods in the old space so they should do even better here. Even when they get high-end or collectible items in, they mark them reasonably. One of my favorite scores so far has been my 4-quart Corningware casserole (Country Festival pattern) for $11 (goes for up to 3x that amount on eBay/Etsy, not counting shipping). No matter where Adobe lives, it's always worth dropping in.
