This week with my parents was all about thrifting. This was our first stop. My mom found me a Lucky…read morebrand top that was on the 50% rack. I tried it on over my clothing as they don't have a changing room. The top was a bit too baggy on me and the sleeves were kind of short, that was how the sleeves were to be, but still too short for my liking. I looked through all the clothing and sadly didn't find anything that caught my attention. This was a downer as it was our first thrift shop in our week of shopping. I was starting to feel unlucky. Things did pick up over the week and I found lots of great finds at the other thrift stores in the area. Changing rooms- Sadly they don't have any and that kept me from picking out clothing to try on. I believe they have a return policy of some type. You probably just get store credit, that's how most places work, you don't actually get your money back. if you are a frequent shopper here that can work out for you. Since I'm from out of town taking the clothing home and trying it on and trying to return it doesn't really work for me. Bathrooms- I think at one time they allowed patrons to use their restroom, but now it's limited to just employees. Parking- They are part of a strip mall and they have a private parking lot with free parking. There were plenty of parking spaces when we arrived. Monday, July 13, 2026 around Noon. Offerings: Clothing, Shoes, purses, dishes, dog and cat supplies, furniture, suitcases, ect. Dog and Cat Supplies- They have a ton of different Halloween costumes for your furry friend. There are lots of shirts for your furry friend to wear. They have baby gates, crates, food dishes, toys, ect. This is a great place to shop at if you have a furry friend. I wish I knew about this place when my little girl was still around. So sad. My parents love this thrift store. They come here on a regular basis. My parents are volunteers at Joybound and get their employee discount. I on the other hand wasn't impressed. Unless i get a new furry friend I probably won't come back on my own.

One chair has an arm that needs to be reattached with a screw and wood glue and the tabletop shows 35 years of use. It is a nice piece or furniture. By the way, a week ago I turned down a $200 purchase offer for the table because I don't like being low-balled. Its a nice solid table needing some love. The Habitat truck shows up and the driver tells me it will now cost us $217 to donate it because bla bla bla I didn't understand the reasoning. I'm just trying to do a solid to the Jimmy Carter gig. I said "Never mind we will keep the table." This because I don't like being bait and switched. The furniture pick up fellows seemed not to mind not carrying the table and chairs to the truck. I was a truck driver and physical labor guy for decades. Workers not caring for the greater good? I get it though I was not that. What a waste of Habitat donated time, money and energy. We are out a $10 furniture pick up scheduling fee. Update: We got a message that we would get the $10 scheduling fee. I don't really care about that rinky dink fee.
