It has great sentimental value to me. Steph was incredibly patient with my changing creative ideas and made very helpful suggestions. Not once was there any pressure to buy any of the beautiful items in their jewelry cases. Although it was a complex redesign, the cost was very affordable and was ready a week earlier than I expected! Even though it took the bench smith, an incredibly long time to take apart the original necklace, I was not charged an extra fee. This pendant came out absolutely beautiful. You can see for yourself below. While I was picking up my pendant, I noticed the comfortable rapport with several customers with both Steph and Keith. Clearly, this is a beloved business which is family owned too! I'm grateful to have discovered it and YOU will too. There's ample parking and it's located on a major road off 65. You won't have to go inside the busy Westfield mall where parking is difficult.

This information can be verified with the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration - Publication# 73. I visited Legacy Jewlers to have my wife's rings resized. Upon the initial visit I met with one of the owners, Kevin who was very friendly and was able to assist us with determining the proper sizing of the ring. He mentioned it would take about a week to complete. The cost to resize (1 size down) a gold ring and platinum ring was $120. When picking up the rings I met with the other owner, Nick. He included sale's tax even though CA sale's tax is only applicable to purchasing materialistic items and not services. I explained that CA sale's tax is not applicable to services and he could verify this information with the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) which is the CA State Department that administers the Seller's Permit which is required to operate the business. I even offered to show him exactly where this information could be found on the CDTFA website since he had a computer nearby. He declined and said he wasn't changing how he charges customers even though he refunded me the illegally charged sale's tax. It was interesting to encounter a business owner oblivious to the law while declining to learn and apply the law to prevent an audit, fees, and potential Seller's Permit revocation by the CDTFA.

Couple of them were busy with existing customers so we even waited for them to be free, but not even a stinking "someone will help you shortly" Maybe these fools don't make commission on their sales :-( We walked out and went to Shane co and purchased earrings, rings and some other things totaling 12000 and to Devon's jewelers in Galeria mall and purchased a bracelet worth 18000. So in a way they lost business worth about 30K and even more coz we will never ever be returning to them ever again. Boo.. provide your employees some trainings on being customer friendly and attentive.

I rarely leave reviews, but felt compelled to write one for Devons Jewelers at Roseville after being surprised to read some negative reviews from others. I have purchased a few items from Devons and can say with confidence that they are a stellar company. If anything, I feel quite lucky that this is my local Jewelers/Rolex AD store as they have gone above and beyond when it comes to customer service and in fostering long term relationships with me and my family. Let me share an example: I wanted to buy a luxury watch for my dad who is recently retired. My dad came to the US in his early 30s and has essentially worked his ass off till retirement and has never owned a luxury watch (or luxury anything for the matter). Matt Teresi from Devons Jewelers was thrilled at the idea of surprising my dad and helped with getting it engraved and arranging a time/date when we could come in with my family and surprise him for Christmas. When the day came, we were out Christmas shopping with the family (kids and all) and unbeknownst to my dad, we "randomly" decided to enter Devons Jewelers to look around. We looked at some beautiful jewelry on display when Matt said that he had a special watch come in that he wanted to show us. He described that the best part of the watch were the details on the back (alluding to the engraving) and asked my dad to read it. Sadly, my dad didn't have his reading glasses and so couldn't read the engraving! So then Matt improvised and asked me to read it out loud and my dad then realized that this special watch was actually meant for him. The look on my dad's face when he realized that the watch was for him is something I'll never forget. The whole visit took at most 30 minutes but the memories created are eternal. Even the watch itself, engraved and dated, will forever mark this heartwarming moment. This is the type of care and attention to detail that I have come to experience from shopping at Devons Jewelers-- and why I think have found my favorite Jewelers in the Sacramento Area! This review is for Austin who is simply an AMAZING young man! Here's the story. My kind, thoughtful late husband had always dreamed of owning a square, ruby gold ring, but never found the item. I wanted to do something special on the one-year anniversary of his passing, and came up with an idea in November 2023. Since my husband was from a very large family with many different tastes in jewelry, I decided that I wanted to give his daughters and siblings a special, meaningful keepsake. On Black Friday I headed to Westfield Galleria Mall in search of a square ruby pendant set in gold. After hours of walking around and speaking with different individuals, I stepped into DeVons Jewelers and had the pleasure of meeting Austin for the first time. Austin was not only professional and polite; he intently listened to my story and insured me that he would be able to create unique pendants that I could give to immediate family. He patiently showed me different stone cuts, shapes, and settings so that I could create exactly what I had envisioned. Once my decision was made, Austin called with updates, invited me to look at the selected stones, and filled my order before Christmas. Ultimately, I hand delivered and/or mailed these special pendants to several individuals, keeping the memory of my husband, father, and brother alive. I would highly recommend Austin at DeVons Jewelers if you are looking for someone that truly cares, pays attention to detail, and can assist with creating a unique piece of jewelry that is treasured by all that wear it. I "signed" up here 2 years ago for a Rolex subariner. I was told it's a super long waitlist, etc. I've been in the store multiple times and was "pushed" to buy Tudor or diamand rings for my girlfriend. Each time, same thing "oh..just come back in 3 months and check". One time I saw another customer picking up his Rolex and then I chatted with him in the store. He said he was a repeat customer and had purchased rings/watches, etc and spent over $20k at the store in the past. He only waited like 3 months. This is a store that caters to rich customers and people they can milk for additional retail purchases afterwards. If ya just looking to buy one Rolex, DO NOT waste your time here. As it is, I moved to LA 3 months ago and signed up at "Bhindi Jewelers". Just picked up my submariner last week. Zero purchase and I did explain to them the "rolex scenario" in Sacramento and they also confirmed that most stores screen every single customer so if ya dont make a "good" impression, ya ain't getting anything. And keep in mind, these are retail stores so all the staff is super nice (or act that way). They might give ya free coffee and water but nothing more than that. My advise is if ya haven't purchased anything at DeVons and been on a Rolex waitlist for over a year, start looking elsewhere cos ya just wasting your time. I'm pretty sure the store response will be "sorry..it's high demand, blah blah blah". read more

Steven Gallegos is your go to guy if you want the proper Rolex experience. Long story short I have been wanting my first Rolex to add to my collection and had been in the market with Rolex for two years. I live in Sacramento, originally went to Devon's to start the process (our local Rolex retailer.) Got in the system, work with someone etc. Since then, I have walked into other Rolex retail locations and have been turned away at the door. I Started to feel like I wasn't going to be able to source the watch from Rolex. Around a month ago I was strolling past Devon's and decided to pop in. This is when I met Steven who treated me with respect, heard my story and provided exceptional customer service. I was given the treatment I've heard stories about, had an exceptional experience, and I am typing this review wearing the Rolex Steven sourced me within a month of our initial meeting. So my visit to DeVons all started when my friend ordered a Rolex and I was there to pick it up for him. The wonderful staff along with Tony who assisted me was showing me some cool watches from Rolex which one them was being purchased by a customer. The atmosphere at this place is more suspicious pawn shop than a luxury jewelry and watch haven. After entrusting them with my $15,000 Rolex, I was subjected to repeated ID checks and a $1,061 bill for a basic service. Their focus seems to be on low-tech security measures rather than delivering good customer service at a reasonable price. This is what I have to say about my experiance at Ray's. Now I know this isn't a deal breaker and its kind of small, but its nice when you are actually welcomed when you walk in the door, I find most places don't even care enough to acknowldedge your there, let alone be able to help you with your problem. I felt very welcomed here from the start and can see they are happy I am there too. They had the right batteries in stock for my watches, then showed me a huge selection of replacement leather bands that I needed, even knew why my Eco Drive watch was no longer charging and were able to repair it right there in house (no wating to send it back to the manufactuer). By the way they were going to do the work right then if I had some time to wait, which usually never happens when I go somewhere no matter if the place is busy or not. I know I am being long winded but its so nice to finally get someone that knows what they are doing and can actually help me, when you are relocating 3000 miles from one coast to the other you end of doing a lot of buisness transactions. Many places stood out but not for the reasons you want. Ray's made an impression on me, and family owned places like this are becoming harder and harder to find, with so many people choosing cheap prices in exchange for absouletly the worst or non exsitent customer service, forget about quality. Ray's is a welcome relief from the way people are use to being treated.....and by the way Ray's prices were the same as the big box stores. They made an effort to remember who I was, that I just moved here and started a new job. After several dozen calls and extensive searching, he was able to source vintage-cut garnets that more closely matched the original stones. He invited me to come in, see them, and discuss additional options for the ring. Honestly, what kind of company follows up after they've been paid just to make sure the customer is completely satisfied? I was genuinely impressed. I went in to take a look, and the vintage garnets were beautiful. However, the garnets used in the original repair were larger and, in my opinion, even more attractive. The important thing was that I had a choice. We also discussed another concern I had: the ring wasn't very comfortable to wear because the bevels were raised unevenly and sat higher than I liked. After a thoughtful conversation about the available options, I decided I simply wanted the bevels lowered slightly and made more even. They took the ring back in, and about a week later I picked it up. I feel much better about the repairs and am wearing the ring again. While I am still a little sad about the changes to the ring, I've come to see the garnets as an upgrade. I believe Arden Jewelers took my concerns to heart and learned from the experience. It was wonderful to be heard, treated with respect, and given several options to consider. Arden Jewelers is a solid family business that truly cares about its customers, and their commitment to customer satisfaction did not end when the sale was complete.
