Had the opportunity to try this awesome food truck right outside The Broad. The customer service was efficient, and the birria tacos were to die for! I'd be here all the time if I lived in DTLA. I always walk by this food truck on my breaks since I work in DTLA. Although I never ordered anything and the menu is enticing, I decided to give it a try one morning. Luckily there was no line and I ordered a chorizo breakfast burrito. Once I got the burrito, I asked for salsa verde, and found a nearby table for my first bite. As I bit into the burrito, it was one of the better chorizo breakfast burrito I've eaten. The eggs were fluffy, chorizo was not too salty, and all the ingredients blended well together. The burrito by itself was delicious and the addition of the salsa verde made it taste better. For the price you pay, it was a bit expensive, but that seems to be the going rate for food in the DTLA area. I will definitely come back to try other menu items. read more

This place is close to me so I was excited to give it a try. I got the carne asada burrito and it was delicious, not AMAZING (hence me not giving it a five star) but it was really really good. My second time here at Devorame  food truck in two weeks. I really love their tacos. This time I tried their mulitas too. It took less than 20 minutes to prepare the order. They always have a line waiting but it moved fast. They accept cash / credit card. For this time, I ordered the following; -Birria - 2 (4) taco combo plate includes; Chicken, Alpastor, and  Asada - Mulitas Everything was flavorful. Wasn't my favorite! But the service was great and the food itself wasn't bad but-- I'm a very picky eater when it comes to Mexican food. I think the style this truck uses is more Tijuana style and I wish I had known as I don't like Tijuana style carne asada! I ordered the asada nachos and basically didn't eat any of the meat. Devorame was a delicious Mexican food truck located on 7th across from Macy's. I especially was happy that it was right across the street from the shopping center that contained ample outdoor seating to enjoy the food. I had the burrito with both chicken and steak. It was delicious! The burrito was full of meat, cheese, rice and beans, but it was tightly wrapped, so everything stayed in place. My mom tried the three chicken tacos with rice and beans. The tacos were a nice portion and the rice and beans were a filling side. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and were very happy with the price point considering the amount of food that we received. read more

After visiting the Broad Museum in DTLA, my partner and I were ravenous. It was 3 pm and we had fancy dinner reservations at 5 pm yet needed a snack to hold us over. There were several food trucks lined up with Devorame last. We went truck by truck looking at menus. Although sushi sounded good, I was weary of sushi from a food truck--judge me if you'd like ;). Yet you can never go wrong with Mexican! We ended up ordering Nachos with asada ($1 extra) for Devorame. The wait was about 10-15 minutes, however, worth every minute! The nachos came out piping hot on freshly made tortilla chips. Somehow you could taste the corn in the chips! The best part we're the refried beans which were super flavorful. The meat was placed on one side of the nachos, while the cotija cheese and avocado were on the other. I didn't mind this so much, however, they gave us two salsas in small cups (one mild and one hot). The mild salsa was unfortunately enough to also cover only half the portion of nachos... Now I will be honest that I didn't want to look up reviews for the food trucks beforehand. Yet I did afterwards and was impressed with the rating! Well done, Devorame! read more

They make your food to order so it takes around 5-10 minutes for your food to come out but it's worth the wait and piping hot when it comes out! The tacos were well sized and there was a good amount of meat inside and they offer cilantro and onions along with red and green sauce. The meat was flavorful and juicy and not dry at all! I also enjoyed their tortillas as well. This food truck is great place to stop at to satisfy your taco cravings during the day or at night! This is a taco truck so no sit down or dining area. Location on maps is pretty accurate. The street is super busy in DTLA so parking will be rough. Came around 7pm Thursday and no wait. Got 5 cochinita pibil (carnitas) tacos for $10. Service was fast because I had already ordered on the allset app. Friendly staff. 8/10 Tacos were good size, average meat amount, cilantro, and onions, and green and red sauce. Meat was tender and juicy. Overall tastes good but nothing special so they aren't worth $3 each or even $2 ea. No guac and tortillas don't seem handmade. Could go elsewhere for better prices and same quality. Tip is order through Allset App for $2 a taco instead of the stand ($3 tacos or 4 for $11). read more

[Last post] Ended a mid-week night out with 1 taco.. sometimes you just need one taco to feel complete after 2.5 nasty cocktails.. 1 Al pastor taco is $3!!!!!! I almost fainted, but I bought it and ate it anyways. Taste wise, it was actually pretty good. All the condiments (onions/cilantro) were already on the taco. Not in a baggie on the side. So if you don't like certain things, mention it when you place your order. Don't be like me, I had to take heartburn medicine afterwards. It came with two sauces on the side, red and green. Neither one was spicy. That was rather disappointing. My friend said the churros with filling was pretty good. And it survived the windy cold weather and stayed warm on the way home. read more

When my girl friend and I were eating, we unfortunately did experience some hackling from a homeless man, but the business themselves can't help it. For truck right at the corner. I'm not a big fan of corn tortillas so I opted for the carnitas nachos. Overall it was just blah to me! It was missing something "wet" to me. The dish was "dry" the sour cream was not creamy, there was no sauce, the cheese used was not melty. This took away from the overall cohesion of the dish.
