Honest and service done quickly ! Much reasonable prices compared to other repair shops. Had a new faulty shock installed by a person. But couldn't take it back to him to be replaced. Personal at Firestone took time to call O'Reillys, to replace the shock which was under lifetime warranty. Which was shipped to Firestone over night. Firestone installed the new one, charging only labor. Firestone personal didn't have to do this. They went out and be on their way to help the customer! They put help and customers first! I originally posted this review on Google and then saw Yelp gave this place a 1-star rating... which is ridiculous... I was driving across the country when I suddenly had major damage to my trailer. Not knowing anything about the area, I resorted to Google to find a good wheel shop and found DeVries. I couldn't have been any luckier! They were very professional and worked very hard to solve my problem so I could get back on the road, going as far as coming in early to do some research. The damage ended up being bad enough that I had to replace a major part and leave my trailer there for about two weeks (waiting for part delivery), which they didn't put up any fuss over. They finished the repair a week early and under the price they quoted me. Friendliness, honesty, professionalism? It turns out you CAN find all three in one place! read more

If I could give less than one star, I would!! Stopped in because my tire became flat while driving home to WI. Store closed at 5PM, I arrived at 4:30. They said they couldn't help me becuase it takes 45 minutes to fix a flat or change tire and they closed in 30 minutes! What a joke! If this is the way the treat someone who would have gladly paid extra money for help... How will they treat an average customer???? read more

We take our cars here every summer, when we are on vacation at The Lake. De Vries Firestone is awesome. It is a little hard to find, but tons worth the effort. The mechanics are honest and competent and your car is always in good hands here. I wish we lived closer so we could come here year round!! read more

The Nicest People ever. Very professional and understanding. We were traveling on November 27, 2015 from Detroit back to Chicago and our 2008 F-150 started shimming really bad. I got off the Interstate in Michigan City and pulled into DeVries Firestone Tire Company. I told the gentleman behind the counter (Chuck) that we are traveling home and we have a flat tire, he looked at his tickets and fit me in between a few and said it would be about an hour. The time we pulled in was around 2:00pm. I said thank you we will wait around, I then asked if he had any 35X12.5X18 tires in stock and he said no, but he will check around. Chuck did some checking for me and no tire shops in the area had that size, he also realized that I had custom rims and said that in order to do this job he would need more time as a different machine and tire guy need to do this type of specialty wheel tire combination. He said two more hours if at all today:( Chuck then asked me a few more question about the truck and told me they will put the spare on the front and we should take the rural highways home and not the interstates. They were done with the job in 30 minutes and told us to have a nice day. The BEST customer service I have ever received at a auto repair shop. Thank you gentlemen you saved the day and the six of us (Six Pack) all made it to the evenings activities that we all had planned.
