Known for their creative pizza and salad combinations and local craft beer, the name of this establishment is known by the owner's childhood friend is an upscale casual, gourmet pizza concept. Located on Rigby Road at Austin Landing in Miamisburg, my partner, his family, and I decided on Dewey's Pizza for dinner. After calling the restaurant, reservation wasn't necessary for a Tuesday night. Upon arrival as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got the next available booth against the wall with a decent crowd. The interior vibe had an industrial, warm, modern look for a casual dining experience. One can witness how the pizzas were made by their open glass kitchen window. Since they are freezer-free, fresh dough is delivered each morning by our local commissary crew. The vast menu choices made it difficult to make a selection. Our server informed us and appreciated the ability to create 1/2 pizzas allowing individual tastes without having to buy whole pizzas. We decided on 11" Edgar Allan Poe, 11" half Meatball and half Green Lantern, and 11" Green Lantern with white sauce and half Hawaiian with no Canadian bacon. Our pizzas came out piping hot, tastefully delicious using the freshest of ingredients and generous toppings. The crust was thin and crispy. The service was team oriented and staff were amazing by keeping the drinks refilled. Everything checked our boxes, which we can recommend. read more

Always a great trip to Dewey's! Their salads are super fresh and delicious but the pizza is everything they say it is and more . We usually order the caprice but I'd eat any one of the pies on this menu. Always get a large... it looks pricy but it's giant and they don't skimp on toppings so you're getting multiple meals (best take home food ever!!). Service is always great too! read more

Dewey's: Atmosphere: definitely busy, but they have an online waiting list that you should definitely join when you are on your way, we only waited 10 minutes when we got there. Very clean and modern, great staff very nice and friendly. Good for the whole family, and they have a bar but it is kinda small. Food: got a 17inch cheese pizza, solid cheese pizza and classic. Came here on a Saturday evening. Ordered a large pizza half Bronx bomber half Dr Dre. Dewey's was packed but the service was very quick and everyone was very nice. The pizza came out with part of the dough burnt, and they brought out a complementary small pizza which I didn't even request. I'm not sure if the pizza was dry because part of it was burnt but it lacked a little moisture. The restaurant was very clean, dimly lit, and seating had great spacing. I had a great experience and would recommend to anyone. I'd say this place is reminding me of a great role player. Couple all star appearances, decently lengthen career. Solid. read more

Parking and ambiance was great, but service was slow for lunch. I have never been to Dewey's before, but I was pleasantly surprised. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because I noticed the waiter standing round talking instead of taking our order. We ordered the half and half. One half was the killer veggie and the other half was the Dr. Dre with no bacon. I was not a fan of the white sauce, but my boyfriend loved it. The killer veggie is my favorite. Loved the pizza. We are sometimes pizza fans; Always upscale pizza which to us adds to value. Dining Four Star Service Four Star Ambience Four Star We often finds Dewey's Pizzas restaurants to be too loud, and a take-away pizza is excellent. We like that the wait staff's training is consistent, and is monitored by management. The training program is excellent and all staffers are eager to please. We like the half and half. I went to Dewey's on a lunch break with coworkers and the place was packed! That's always a good sign. I love coming to Deweys! A great pizza options. Came on a Sunday and was able to be seated right away. The waitress was very nice. One of my favorite things to get when I got is the pecan grape salad. It is my absolute favorite. The dressing, cheese, and grapes work so well together. I full salad was a great price ~$11 and I swear the portions got bigger since the last time I went. A great salad! I then got a calzone that I was able to add 3 toppings to. Calzone was very good and filling. The pizza is also delicious here. I think the pizza can be a little on the pricier side when you add lots of toppings. I love Deweys Pizza, but this location always seems to get something g wrong every time I go there. The one near UD is always on point, but this one struggles. Tonight: I ordered a meatball pizza and a full harvest salad with chicken. The pizza barely had any cheese, and it was overcooked and bubbled. The crust was hard. Overall it was very dry. My salad was supposed to be a Harvest salad but I received a House salad. I still ate it because the pizza was not good, but I would have preferred to have eaten the salad I ordered. Our service was phenomenal this evening, as was the food. But the one thing that really stood out to me was the TEAMWORK this shift exhibited. Excellent pizza!! If you love thick crust like I do. Very interesting pizza menu to choose from and of course you can make your own however you want to it by choosing the ingredients. Great thing is you can split anything and make your pizza half and half, very nice if you're sharing a pizza or if you can't decide what to get...get them both! Servers all super friendly and kept everyone's drink filled. 11" is smallest pizza which isn't really personal pizza size, so next time I will split a pizza with my kid, getting each our own half how we want it. read more

I was extremely disappointed with Dewey's Pizza. I ordered a 17 inch pepperoni pizza and it was just horrible. The sodium content or salty pepperoni, dominated the entire taste of this pizza! Best pizza and salads in the area by far! I always loved there unique pizza options and the special pizzas are usually really good too. They have the best salads on the planet though. They are big and really delicious. I've always had great service. I do wish they'd offer a vegan option though. They do everything right at Dewey's! Their beer selection, though small, always has a couple good craft options. Their seasonal pizza was great, we split a half Taco half BBQ Chicken. Their seasonal salad was amazing - Blueberry Macadamia nut - they should make it available all year! Service at the Austin Landing location is always very attentive and they really want to ensure guests enjoy their meal. Between our server, another server and the manager, we were checked on often and our drinks never came close to empty. Ordering a regular salad, my husband and I always eat the whole thing, then come close to eating half of a 17" pizza with a full meals worth of leftovers for the following day. Yea a Dewey's venue in South Dayton in the Austin Landing shopping center, so now my parents know how great Dewey's as I live by the original location in Oakley. The Springboro location has almost the same layout as Oakley location, local cold craft beer on tap & Dewey's specialty pizzas, where I love and many others love let you order 1/2 of one type of pizza and 1/2 of another its truly the best way to order a Dewey's pizza. Great service, pizza came shortly after we ordered. My parents have gone back a few times since our visit - now Dewey's you need to open one off Wilmington Pike in the Kettering/Centerville/Bellbrook/Sugarcreek area - my parents would be there all the time! read more
