Love this pizza! Marion's is such a unique style of pizza from the very thin crust, tiny crumbles of sausage and down to the small square cuts. Just walking into the restaurant, the smell will captivate you. I love returning to Dayton to visit family and getting the chance to dine here and reminisce of my childhood favorite pizza. The employees that took our pizza order and our beer bar order were very friendly.

Marion's Piazza has been my go-to spot since childhood. Every time I'm in town, this is the exact spot I have to go to. My favorite pizza of all time. I absolutely love the special pizza that has everything on it! You cannot beat the stacked ingredients and crunchy crust. Plus, eating each piece in a bite sized form makes it even better! It's very easy to devour a whole pizza in one sitting! Highly recommend Marion's!

This is a review from an outsider who is looking in on this local pizza "chain" in the Dayton, OH region. Looking at some other reviews, I can see the locals are swearing by this pizza they love... and the travelers who are (somewhat) puzzled. Before I talk about the pizza, let me quickly say that this is like a neighborhood hang out spot. Big and roomy... this is like the place the softball league goes after a game. There's a drinks area for soda, beer, and wine(?!?) and an arcade room. I'm having Marion's Deluxe (naturally, choose the namesake dish). The sausage is ground up and a bit extruded. The mushrooms are probably canned (I cannot prove that, so I apologize). The onions are riced. The pepperoni is pretty legit. It is square cut. The crust... well... they talk about thin-crust. Is it? Have you ever had a Totinos frozen pizza? It's reminds me of that. But it's prepared perfectly for crunch and chew. It's scarfin' pizza. Not gourmet stuff - if that's the benchmark, then it's not gonna hit. The price is also reasonable, which adds to the whole casual attitude of the place. It's been a week and a half between my visit and this review... so would I go back? I think I would.

You order your food and drinks separately (like at totally different registers). So you can order food, and then get your drinks later, after your food is ready. This frees you up to play at the arcade while you're waiting for your food. I really appreciated that even though this is a pizza place, there are a good number of non-pizza menu options. There are a lot of drink options, too. The restaurant is spacious and clean, with a small (but not too small) arcade area near the entrance. We were there at 4:00 for an early dinner, so there was plenty of available seating. (I've heard it does get busier later, at actual dinner time.) The structure of the space suggests it would be ideal for children's birthday parties, with easy visibility of the whole area.

Receipt for my pizza, payment went through, evidence on my banking app

Paid for pizza and over heard a female staff member asking the cashier if we paid for our pizza, like wtf???

A sad excuse for pizza.

Let me begin on the size. Their large is anyone else's medium. I got a "large" pepperoni pizza. Pretty basic order. It's party cut. They party cut a medium pizza. I didn't ask for party cut. I'd take it back in, they claim to have a guarantee where they'd make a new one. But there's a 30 minute wait. So I'll deal with it. The pizza lacks flavor. The only flavor I'm getting is from the pepperoni. Sauce is bland. Crust is bland. Am I eating pizza or hardtack? Oh, and it's barely warm. I just got it and it's barely warm. Never again.

Deluxe, Ham/Sauerkraut, pepperoni/sausage/pepperoni

I don't understand the hype. The pizza is expensive and just okay in my opinion. Nothing special

I told the waitress that I wanted it without the sourdough, and that I had wanted an order of of the roasted Brussel Sprouts, as I was looking forward to them. She said fine and that the sandwich had come with salad Greens. Sounded great, and yes it was delicious. BUT! They basically only gave me a 4oz piece of salmon and a few salad greens, and I'm guessing she didn't put my Brussel Sprouts order in because I kept asking for them and I didn't get them until I was pretty much done eating. I also had to ask for water, when she'd been past my table serving other guests several times and I had finished my water. They bagged the Sprouts up for me and said they were not charged, but by then I didn't want them. Then, as I had stated I was pretty much done, and I'm trying to wave her down to pay for my food as she's going to other tables. I ended up walking to the bar to cash out. I'm hoping it was just an off night as I hadn't been in years so I was looking forward to eating there again. But if service is like this, I may not go back for some more years. My recommendation is to stay on your waitress for service.

Why are you all in the…read morerestaurant business if you serve me two slices of bread and try to tell me the bread has been toasted when all you did was warm it up? And the idiotic excuse I got from the TM behind the counter, "Maybe because the mayo..." (made it softer/colder) Really?! I make these BLTs better at home and my bread is toasted that it could stand on its ends by itself! TOASTED - surface of the bread is crunchy, crispy - not floppy like a wet noodle! MAYBE I should've just went over to Meijer and bought a slab of bacon and drive home to make this myself! This one came out a LITTLE better, but the first one felt and looked like you warmed up the bread not toasted it. Get with the program! And yes... The gal at the cash register DID tell you guys in the prep area to TOAST the bread! She made sure! (Thus the extra star for the effort.) The sandwich was overpriced and MEH! Never again! I'll just make it myself at home next time and besides, my BLTs turn out better looking and better tasting anyways! Never gonna come back to Panera! And I thought maybe y'all would've changed in the past 5 years since Covid! No wonder I haven't eaten at a Panera in years!

Absolutely excellent sushi from the selection to presentation and flavor. We went for lunch and had…read morejust sushi then had to return for dinner just to try some other items. Service was perfect, greeted right away, friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The sushi presentation was beautiful with a lot of attention to the details. Minimal rice, just enough to surround the filling and hold together, not too much to overpower the texture. All three rolls were different with unique flavors and textures. The ones with multiple fish selections on them were done perfectly balanced with enough of each to taste them all. We also got the crab rangoon which were the sweetest little pillows filled with a creamy crab flavored goodness. For our return dinner visit we again got sushi and crab rangoon but also got two entrees so we'd have leftovers the next day for traveling. The fried rice isn't quite what we expected but the shrimp and beef were cooked perfectly and the flavors were spot on. I highly recommend Ozu852, especially for sushi, and will definitely return when in the area.

We love sushi - travel all the way to columbus just to have some from the unofficial "japantown" at kenny center Upon arrival at 2 pm, not super busy but the store appeared bright and well decorated. We were directed to pick our preferred seating. Menus were brough quickly, drink orders we taken and brought out quickly. Sprites, came with a cup of ice. This was were it went downhill. My husband is allergic to shellfish, and we eat out understanding there is a chance of cross contamination based on what we order. He had a mild reaction - we determined his reaction was from the glass with ice, which indicates it was not washed well. Not a good sign... We ordered house lo mein, king salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri, tuna roll, and one chicken and vegetable hibachi. Sushi? The rice was long grain and unseasoned... it fell apart as my husband picked it up. The fish was.. ok.. not wowed. Even the king salmon was...just salmon and not anything amazing. My tuna roll never made it. My husband said this was the first time he had bitter ginger... he spat that back out - ginger is suppose to be a palate cleanser... Lo mein? Was ok. It was not greasy, which is what I usually encounter. Noodles were soft, but ok. Flavor.. lacking.. and there was a notcieable amount of sauce at the bottom.. so it was too runny. The hiabachi? The fried rice, saddest fries rice ever. It was hard middle and .. flavor was offputting.. this is coming from a girl that was raised to eat rice everyday in many forms. I love durian, and this rice manage to offput me.... the flavor was just weird. The hibachi chicken and veggies were the best part..sauce flavor was great and the veggies were cooked very well and chicken was juicy. So overall... would not recommend due to cleanliness (based on contact contamination from a cup) and... food was just meh
