    Pepperoni & sausage pizza

I just decided to try Redbird pizza today because I've heard good things about it. I will tell you it's kind of hard to find tucked between a few buildings but when you get there, you will know it. I walked into a very clean building with a friendly staff. The lady at the counter took my order then I got my soda and took a seat. It wasn't long before my food came out and it looked very delicious, plus I like the crispy crust on the edges. At first bite, I realize the thinness of the crust which I like. As for the sauce, it must have been a very thin layer because I couldn't really taste it. The sausage has very little spice to it to resemble an Italian sausage. This was disappointing, as was the lack of sauce. Overall, the pizza was good, but I don't think it will make my top 10.

I saw something on Dayton foodie site about the carm pizza and that looked worth a try. We also go The Toussaint Tomato sauce, the mozzarellas, blue oyster mushrooms, shallot & parm. We ordered 2 pizzas and 3 pops it was like 65 dollars. I thought that seemed expensive. When they finally brought them out they were both gigantic. They didnt ask size. I wanted to get 2 different so we could try and have back up in case the carm wasn't great. Seemed like long wait for the pizza but staff were very friendly. I the one I came to try we all agreed we wouldn't get again but the other was ok. We got the last table so not much seating and wouldn't have wanted to try the tall seat with my 5 ft 92 yr old mom. Bottom line is double we will come back. We have places we like more that are closer. If you do go I'd avoid the carm pizza.

We grabbed a piping hot, large pepperoni and mushroom pizza to go on a Friday night. The pizza was high-quality and a reasonable price. One big pro in my opinion was that they use local mushrooms, they were delicious. The only criticism I have is that the sauce was a little sweet for my liking, and that I usually prefer more of a breadstick type crust. But, this is just a personal opinion of mine. My husband really enjoyed the pizza since he's not a big crust eater. This is a solid choice if you're looking for pizza in the Dayton area .

Red Bird Pizza is the new kid on the block. We ordered ahead of time online, then ate it inside when we arrived. They offer 10" and 16" pizzas. The 10" prices are around $10-11 and the 16" are between $20-26 depending on toppings. We decided to go with three different 10" pizzas so we could try a variety of pies. We went with pepperoni, the carm, and sausage and peppers. The crust is New York style. My favorite was the sausage and peppers. I enjoyed the red sauce and thought it had a nice sweetness to it. I wasn't a huge fan of the carm -- a bit bland IMO, perhaps adding some sausage to it would have been a good idea. I wish they had a way to order the pizzas "well done" as I like the crust more on the crunchy side. That said, my wife thoroughly enjoyed all three pizzas.

This is one of the best pizzas I have ever had. Like the barstool Prez, I like my pizzas well done and with great undercarriage. This one was outstanding. Crispy, great cheese, mushrooms and sauce. The place is nice - a bit industrial but comfortable. My only complaint is that there is only pizza, drinks and cookies on the menu. No salad and no apps. But amazing pizza.

Everything about this place screams perfect pizzeria! Located in downtown Miamisburg the parking is ample, the restaurant itself is cute and the smells make you feel like you're in Italia!! My son and I ordered carry out and they were on time and the pie was piping hot. Turned out to be one of the BEST pizzas we've ever had. Highly HIGHLY recommend!!

This is a great pizza near downtown Miamisburg. I ordered online pretty easily for takeout. They have a pretty simple menu. I was hoping for some extras like subs or salads, but maybe they will add to their menu down the road. When I went down to the restaurant I was greeted warmly by the two workers behind the counter. There's a good amount of seating inside if you want to eat in. I waited comfortably in some cool stadium seats by the register. The pizza was delicious, especially the crust. We also tried their cookies which were huge and yummy. I will be back, they are a great alternative to the gain pizza offerings around me.

Fantastic pizza and great service for both takeout and dine in. Also their ordering app is very user friendly!

This was absolute perfection for an east coast style pizza - no flop, crispy crust, rich in flavor. The folks working there were super friendly and courteous, my pizza was being cut as I walked in. What a gorgeous sight to behold! I ate three slices before I got to my house in Middletown, easily would have been more but there was no traffic!

Places like this have made me a pizza sob. No pizza chain could ever beat a local pizza shop like this. The pizza was delicious, the staff was lovely, and the online ordering experience was simple. The inside of the restaurant was really nice, too, complete with an open kitchen where you could watch them prepare your pizza. I definitely recommend it! Eat local pizza, and leave the chains behind!

Our pizza was hot, fresh, and so tasty! We got the pepperoni pizza and loved the crispy small pepperonis and fresh basil. The staff were also very friendly. We will definitely be returning!

Greasy, soggy pizza and workers with attitudes like they're being punished for showing up. Nothing here was worth the money or the headache.

Located on Rigby Road at Austin Landing in Miamisburg, my partner, his family, and I decided on Dewey's Pizza for dinner. After calling the restaurant, reservation wasn't necessary for a Tuesday night. Upon arrival as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got the next available booth against the wall with a decent crowd. The interior vibe had an industrial, warm, modern look for a casual dining experience. One can witness how the pizzas were made by their open glass kitchen window. Since they are freezer-free, fresh dough is delivered each morning by our local commissary crew. The vast menu choices made it difficult to make a selection. Our server informed us and appreciated the ability to create 1/2 pizzas allowing individual tastes without having to buy whole pizzas. We decided on 11" Edgar Allan Poe, 11" half Meatball and half Green Lantern, and 11" Green Lantern with white sauce and half Hawaiian with no Canadian bacon. Our pizzas came out piping hot, tastefully delicious using the freshest of ingredients and generous toppings. The crust was thin and crispy. The service was team oriented and staff were amazing by keeping the drinks refilled. Everything checked our boxes, which we can recommend.

I also ordered a cup of chili with shredded cheddar cheese and onions. The sandwich came wrapped in aluminum foil. The chili was in a paper cup and placed in a paper bag with a small cup of shredded cheddar cheese and a small cup of diced onions. Both the cheesesteak sandwich and paper bag with the chili were placed in a plastic bag. The cheesesteak didn't look very appealing. The soft roll was somewhat toasted and tasty but the sandwich seemed a bit dry to me. The steak and provolone cheese didn't seem evenly distributed. Additionally, it didn't seem like you got much provolone cheese or steak to me. The green peppers and onions were okay. I detected no Hellman's mayonnaise which is supposed to be standard on the sandwich unless you specify otherwise. Overall, it was an underwhelming sandwich and I probably would not order again. The chili though, was surprisingly good. It was meaty, pretty thick, and quite tasty. Two saltine crackers came with the order. I would order the chili again. It's better than chili that I've gotten at a lot of places. There's nothing like a great cup of chili on a cold day. Overall, I rate Milano's three stars. The cheesesteak didn't quite do it for me but the chili was very good.
