    Chorizo Stuffed Mushrooms

My 3rd visit in 2 months. All have been on a Friday night around 9pm after our pickleball league. Staff were welcoming and one even remembered us from a few weeks back! Ample spaced out seating, high ceilings, feels fresh and clean in the interior. I have enjoyed the beers I've ordered so far. My favorite is the pineapple kolsch done in collaboration with Stumblin Monkey Brewing. I've enjoyed the food. Although, I question why my chorizo mushroom plate was on the skimpy side compared to their Facebook photo?!? I will definitely frequent this establishment.

Cute new brewery in Victor. Good selection of beer and staff were outstanding. Mango sour and the festbier were both delicious.

The business is in their first week of opening, no food yet. Limited beverages available. We had the Mexican lager and the sour and both were good. Plenty of parking and space inside. Tables, floors, chairs all are in great shape. Bar orders moved quickly and had severs coming around asking if we needed refills. Great experience.

We decided to go on a Thursday afternoon for lunch and found this brewery to be a great spot. It's only been open 4 months so we both said we'd give a little pass on the food because newer places take awhile to get into a decent menu. We shouldn't have feared that because --wow! The food was top notch. Not sure why I was expecting German fare but it was actually Spanish and done so well. I had the wings with DeWolf's own sauce and they were larger and cooked perfectly. He had a Cuban and it was delicious. So much meat and the bread was also wonderful. The potatoes were cubed (I forget the name) and very tasty. The space is open like most breweries and there's huge windows into the brewing space. The outer windows overlook train tracks and since it was a sunny day, it was very pleasant. Staff were welcoming and greeted us right at the door. Usually you order from the counter but since it was lunch and not that busy, our bartender took our both food and drink orders. Beer selection was decent. Sampled 2 IPAs and one darker British ale. Good pours and you can even order 1/2 pours. I had a Surfside since I normally have seltzers. There was a cocktail menu if you like those. Prices are comparable to others in the area. We did get 1/2 off our first pour for downloading their app. Great spot and I can't wait to see it humming in the summer!

Ok, but their outdoor seating needed some TLC - the umbrella was broken and the wood was past its prime. Food was good though.

We came as a larger group and they were nice enough for us to order from the breakfast menu as they switched over the lunch menu at 11:30am. Our table enjoyed the food but all agreed it wasn't worth the price point. I tried the chocolate croissant with homemade butter and maple bacon jam along with the Canadian bacon Benedict. The chocolate croissant was nice with the maple bacon jam but definitely not worth the price point of $12. The croissant was quite smaller, like the chocolate croissants you can get from Costco or Starbucks. The Canadian bacon eggs Benedict however was delicious and I really enjoyed it! I just am not sure again it was worth the high price point. However I definitely felt the service was missing. As we were the only ones in the dining area, I felt the service was missing the mark. The server saw we were carrying a baby in the restaurant but didn't ask if we wanted a high chair. My mother-in-law spied it in the corner and then we had to ask for it and we proceeded to set it up at the table. As I was with 2 young kids, I ordered some simple items before the main course like their chocolate croissant and fruit cup. I assumed the server would ask if we wanted those ahead of time but that didn't happen. He also had forgotten my son's drink order and which my son actually had to ask him after some time "where's my juice?" My older son had ordered the s'mores waffles and it looked good when it was delivered but as I cut some of it for me to try later on, I soon realized the batter was uncooked in the middle of most of them. I was thoroughly disappointed he had eaten some of it before I discovered it was uncooked. The server throughly apologized and they remade the order which in the end, we ended up taking home with us. They also didn't take the order off the check for us which normally that would happen. For such a classy restaurant, we would think they would know how to make waffles and for more top-notch service. I think next time we will just enjoy the nice views and choose to eat somewhere else when we are in the area.

While planning our dinner party months in advance, the communication from Janine was excellent. She helped us develop a 4-course menu that was sure to have something for everyone, including vegan and allergy friendly options. Amy was our server for the evening, and she ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our evening. The chairs in the Meyer's Den are wide and comfortable, the decor is dark and classy, and being in the basement away from the dining room made it very quiet and easy to converse with family. The room is rather spacious for 12 guests, but could also accommodate a few more people without feeling cramped. Out of the appetizers we selected, the Charred Octopus was very popular and everyone enjoyed it...even those that had never previously eaten octopus. The baby cauliflower dish was also a beautiful presentation, and quite large and enjoyable. The salads, particularly the Charred Hurricane salad, were nice light courses before the entree was served. As for the entrees, the filet mignon was a little on the dry side, but we really enjoyed the light and crispy spinach fritters that accompanied the beef. The salmon was a generous portion of medium rare fish, and there was lot going on with that dish - spicy cauliflower and za'atar potatoes that had some mixed reviews. Folks who ordered the duck breast seemed to enjoy the complex preparation, which had asparagus, green beans, and two pureed sauces - cauliflower ginger and cherry-rhubarb. The doughnut bread pudding with apple pieces and vanilla ice cream was a delicious, decadent way to end the meal. We left rather stuffed, and delighted with the overall experience that allowed our family to celebrate together.
