My friends and I enjoy coming here for our monthly bowling as it is very close to where we live. We never have an issue with anyone at the front door or at the reception. The waiters and bartenders have always been very helpful and efficient. The bathrooms are also plentiful and the bowling alley is nicely set up. One thing I believe this facility could improve on is the addition of hand sanitizer stations, as I truly feel like it is almost a cesspool of germs, considering we share lanes with other groups, and the arcade is frequently by many of the guests. During our visits, we never notice any management interaction or presence throughout the bowling alley and I think that also would be a good idea for someone to routinely walk by to check on guest satisfaction. Also, the most recent times we have went, we also noticed that there are other lanes that are open yet far away from players that have already been set up. Each set of lanes is usually filled with us and another group of friends yet we see there are five lanes open to the left and a set of lanes open to the right. This makes it feel like we are kind of all mashed together for no reason. I think it would be better if different groups of people would be spread out throughout all of the lanes and not just grouped into the sets together. The doorman ensures that all guests that enter do not have any weapons on their person. The seriousness in that with today's pro weapon climate is very well appreciated. It's a scientifically proven fact - sort of - that your bowling game improves after a mojito or two. I researched this last Wednesday after meeting up with some friends after another nearby happy hour. After passing through security, we went to the larger dining area and the bowling lanes themselves on the second floor. The food is classic sports bar bites - burgers, bao buns, wings & fries - but made fresh. To those of us who grew up in the area, it's a step above from the bowling alleys we went to in high school. I enjoyed a couple of mojitos (of course, after which I actually hit a full strike). I like the fact the lane displays have tips on how to improve your score. After our group finished the two rounds we reserved, we were escorted to a table to continue our evening. The music was lively, but not too loud where we could actually have a conversation. I'm a huge fan of the Lucky Strike in Downtown Miami! I've gone a few times now and honestly can't wait to go back! It's located in the new Miami World Center area of Downtown Miami. Parking is best in the streets or garages close by. The staff is super friendly. There's a bar, plenty of food, arcade and lots of lanes to bowl. The music is a good vibes, music videos always playing along with other channels being played. The location is clean and well maintained. The drinks and food I've ordered have been great along with good prices! The game prices vary as it's more expensive in different times of the day/depending on the day but the usual has been $10-15 per game and the shoe rental is $7. They currently have a summer pass offer that's also a great deal. My only complaint is that the shoes can be quite sticky with black spots under the shoe but other than that no complaints and only good times! read more

I came here yesterday to check it out and I was impressed. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. We bowled and had a great time doing so and the service was amazing. The staff were extremely helpful. When there was a brief confusion of how many games we have played, a staff member gifted us three play cards for the brief confusion. I feel like there's not many places to bowl in Miami anymore, but I enjoyed lucky strike when I went. It is a little pricey, but you do get a lane for 2 hours at minimum, so I guess the play time you get evens it out. It's more upscale than a typical bowling alley, so expect that. Even though we resendced online we had to wait for a lane to open when we arrived. It was about 30 minutes but it gave us the opportunity to play in the arcade for a while. It has a very similar feel to Dave and busters but a little more sophisticated. There's a cute area to order food and drinks that looks like a food truck or you can order from your lane when bowling. We ordered from the lane and our food and drinks did not arrive until we were done with a full game. They offered to comp our drinks but we had already closed out the tab. I was so excited to try Lucky Strike when I heard they opened downtown! I am by no means a good bowler and mainly go for the food and the vibes and Lucky Strike did not disappoint! We went to celebrate my friend's birthday and reserved a lane! We were a little late to our reservation but the staff was very friendly and accommodated us! While we waiting for the rest of our group to arrive we went to the bar to grab some drinks! The cocktail looked so fun! Once we were set up in our lane we had a server who consistently checked in on us. We kept ordering drinks and food and she kept making sure we were taken care of! I highly recommend the fries they were a hit with the group! We loved the music and the music videos playing in the background. We couldn't help but dance every time a great song came out. First things first. We are SOBE residents that had the opportunity to enjoy Lucky Strikes when it was on the beach years ago. It was heartbreaking when it closed down. Leaving us to venture far out for bowling because honey, bowling at the Edition and their two lanes is not a vibe!!! So tonight me and the little one took daddy to LSM for Father's Day and let me tell you that we had a blast! This review might be a bit long but it's necessary. I made reservations earlier in the day for 7:30pm but had to change it to a bit later. I did this over the phone and the lovely front desk woman rescheduled us for 9:30pm. As always the Jimenez family was late. Upon arrival we were informed that we would have to wait. Fair enough. It was our fault. The other woman running the front desk was so kind, she gave us arcade cards while we waited and I thought that was so sweet. (Apologies for not getting your names boo!) We did not even have to wait 5 mins before she called my name and escorted us to our lane carrying a "RESERVED" sign with our family name on it. Super cool especially on Father's Day. Then we had the pleasure of having Miss Nina be our server. She was not only super pretty but so nice, attentive, informative and so sweet to our little one. The food, pizza & wings were hot and fresh. The drinks were delicious and strong. Sophia interacted with our little one and was also so kind. After getting to know Miss Nina, I asked to speak to the manager. I met Axel and I just had to let him know that not only was his staff very professional, but they were also attentive, kind and so pretty! That's a rarity in Miami. After chopping it up with Axel we returned our shoes. Again, the girls at the front desk were so nice. Our little one returned her shoes and thanked them for such a fun night and they gave her a card for the arcade! She was super stoked! She played some games and afterwards went to see David at the prize booth. He helped her pick out prizes that matched her ticket count. David made a 6 year old very happy tonight!!! I have been here a few times and am on my second summer season pass since they opened. It's such a great vibe, yummy food, organized lanes, and had cocktail options. The lane prices are now super reasonable and have deals through the week. They have an arcade where you can play air hockey as well as hoops and kart so it's really a cute place to go with friends or even take a date. We visited Lucky Strike last month with a group of friends. We were there for just drinks and bowling but the food sounded so good we decided to give it a try. We were a party of 6 so we were just sharing. To start, we shared the Nacho Avalanche and it was a lot! The tortillas were crispy and there was plenty of meat. Seasoning in meat and guacamole was really good. We also ordered the Baja Shrimp Tacos which were refreshing and the Firecracker Shrimp Bao Buns which were good. Also, since I needed a salad, I ordered the Summer Citrus Salad and it was good! The only thing is that some of the lettuce didn't look that fresh so I had to remove some of them, but overall it was good. My boyfriend couldn't resist and decided to order the Bistro Bacon Burger and he loved it! He devoured it and the French fries were so good, that we decided to order 2 side orders of French fries for the table because they were delicious. Then we realized it was $13 for each side of fries but worth it and there were plenty! Also, we tried their margaritas but they were ok, you could barely feel any alcohol so next time we will just stick to wine. We will come back and try some other dishes from the menu. read more

Our experience left much to be desired. We arrived on Tuesday night, excited and ready to spend the evening enjoying everything Lucky Strike has to offer. Our group of friends collectively spent well over $1,000, but the service we received was far from what you'd expect for that kind of spending. The most glaring issue? They didn't have servers working the tables. We waited 30-45 minutes for basic table service, whether it was food or drinks. It felt like we were being ignored despite how much we were investing in the evening. After finally finishing our bowling games, we decided to check out the arcade. The girls in our group won some tickets and went to redeem them at the counter, but no one was there. Despite asking multiple servers, bartenders, and even the host for assistance, no one came to help us. We waited a long time. The breaking point came when I jokingly walked behind the counter (which was clearly open and unattended) to get someone's attention. That's when Nancy, an employee, rushed over yelling at me. Her attitude was rude and unprofessional, but at least it finally got someone to take care of the tickets. While the concept of Lucky Strike is great, the execution on this visit was dismal. Poor staffing, slow service, and a lack of accountability from the team made the entire experience frustrating and disappointing. Miami deserves better. Awesome food, awesome drinks, awesome location, and the concept works. But they can 100% do better. You're still new. Get it together. If you're willing to sacrifice service then come by, otherwise stay away, and if you come across Nancy, good luck. She's not one who should be in the service industry. read more

Disappointing Mother's Day Experience I planned an entire Mother's Day outing and was so excited to bring my family bowling after they drove two hours to Miami. I purchased tickets online for $33 per person. When we arrived, two of my young nephews joined us, so I needed to purchase two additional tickets on-site. At the same time, my stepfather realized he couldn't bowl, so I asked for a refund for his ticket. That's where things went downhill. I was told I'd only be refunded $25--even though I paid $33 online. They claimed in-person tickets were cheaper and insisted the refund was based on that price. I explained that the $8 difference didn't make sense and that I should be refunded what I paid online. Instead of simply honoring that, multiple employees/ two managers spent 15 minutes arguing over basic math. What should've been a simple, reasonable refund turned into a drawn-out, uncomfortable situation with zero empathy. The managers were cold, dismissive, and even seemed to mock the situation afterward by whispering to coworkers while eyeing us . It felt petty, obvious and unprofessional, and it completely tainted what was supposed to be a joyful day. I don't usually write negative reviews, but the way this was handled was so unnecessarily frustrating and disheartening that I felt I had to say something. A $8 refund turned into a ruined experience--when it really didn't have to be that way. read more

My daughter and I are visiting Miami from The Netherlands. Could not book a lane for 1 hour online as the minimum was 2 hours, but too long for only 2 persons. Phoned from The Netherlands to check and the employee on the phone confirmed that to book 1 hour online indeed was not possible. If we would walk in without a reservation it would be no problem to book a lane for 1 hour upon availability. If no lane available, we could wait at the bar until available. So we walked in this evening and after a thorough security check at the door, the employee behind the shoes counter told us that this was not possible and asked me the name of the employee who had given us this information, but naturally I did not ask for the name. Even though several lanes were available, it was not possible for us to book a lane for 1 hour. There was no flexibility or sympathy from the employee, which would have been appropriate as why would we walk in with this information if we had not been told to do this. Very dissapointing to rely on what has been told on the phone and then to be sent away when doing as had been told. Unfortunately not a nice experience for us at Lucky Strike. read more

We came in too immediate attitudes at the front desk it was so bad to the point where I asked if we were okay to even play because of how stressed the gentlemen looked. Our waitress was the only reason (she deserves better) and finished our $60 unlimited games. We were having a great night and walking into this place completely ruined it with the front desk attitude. I have worked in the industry for over 12 years and would never let a customer know we were in the weeds . Very disappointed as I bought a Groupon that I will be not using. On Saturday my group and I reserved a lane and ordered drinks, but our server said she couldn't serve the two men in our group because they didn't have their physical IDs and had an extra strict policy for spring break and photo of ID/passport wouldn't work. It was an inconvenience but we continued to have a good time. 20 mins go by, security said they saw two men take a sip from our margaritas and asked them to leave. Our lane was shut down with 40 minutes still remaining. They must've been closely monitoring to have seen a sip... I hope they were watching everyone else who was in there too.. then We were told, "We didn't kick you two ladies out, just the two guys," but why would we stay at a venue past midnight without the people we came with? security escorted us downstairs as if we did something wrong. Come to Lucky Strike for the grand opening which included 1 free game, $10 card for video games and they walked around with free food sample and mocktails. We ended up ordering some Tacos and chicken tenders for the kids. First of all you need to take an elevator because the place is located on a second floor of a building. Place is brand spanking new so looks great, clean without the wear and tear of years of abuse. Servers were very nice and attentive. There were some hiccups with our order because the food took so long and we finished our game and moved to a table from our lane and got lost in the system. They were apologetic for the confusion and the food finally arrived after a few clarification. My wife ordered shredded beef taco and shrimp taco. She liked them both. She said the shrimp taco was a bit spicy so be aware of you don't like spicy. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders that came with fries. I got to try one and they were perfectly fried. Nice and juicy. Didn't order any alcoholic drinks but the mocktails were very sweet. A little too much for my taste. I would say to hurry up and come while the place is still new, with new bowling shoes and without the wear and tear. The one thing I found strange and not sure I like it too much is that the pins in bowling are attacked to a string. It's a new system I'm not used to and not sure if it changes the way the pins fall. Horrible customer service, everybody is unhappy to see you or greet you. They put you on a wait list (that takes forever) when there's clearly many open lanes. They close earlier than their close time on google, cut your game off early and if you complain they wipe their hands and claim it's "company policy". literally unheard of for a bowling alley to cut off your game 4 frames in...Also staff is VERY unhelpful and quite literally does not want to be there. On top of everything it's way too expensive, I ended up paying 58 dollars for 3 beers and an order of mozzarella sticks. Made the mistake of coming here on a Wednesday and this place was more of a strip club than a bowling alley but before getting to that I must warn you about parking in the area. There is no street parking anywhere close to here and if you see what looks like street parking do not park there as it is all tow away and the towing companies are like vultures circling and waiting to tow anyone. I saw two cars get ticketed and then immediately towed in a 10 minute time span. Guys are charged $100 at the door and then when we walked in it was completely empty. Many of the servers were walking around in thongs. We proceed to bowl and the server getting us drinks was rude and seemed bothered to have to work and had a terrible attitude. After spending $150 on drinks we ask her for 2 cups of water and she tells us she can't give us water and that we have to buy water bottles. What a gross way to try to upcharge people. As we are finishing the last turn on our second game security comes up to us and tells us we have to leave because our lane has been sold to someone buying a bottle. Even though it is absurd to kick someone out after charging $100 cover and spending $150 on drinks we ask to finish our last turn. Next thing we know we are surrounded by their thug security and treated like criminals and immediately escorted out for simply trying to finish our bowling game. A security guard actually told us he didn't care about our game and that we were messing with his money. The manager approaches when all this is happening and we are thinking he will correct his out of line staff but his only concern was bringing us our tab to sign. He did not care at all so apparently this type of treatment is acceptable here. I spoke to their GM Andrew and he was extremely dismissive when it came to his rude staff and their unacceptable behavior. With management like this it is no wonder the staff acts the way they do. If bottle service is your main focus and customers get kicked out for bowling then turn this into a club and don't call it a bowling alley. Wasted $250 to have a terrible date night and I will never come back. read more
