Many dealerships will send their salespeople to try to sell me on a vehicle that they know might have issues or charge me exorbitant prices based on my perceived ignorance. I'm happy I have Auto Karma to look over any vehicle that I'm interested in. Recently, I had questions about a couple of vehicles that I was interested in. I found Auto Karma through a friend and their agent was able to help me ascertain whether that car was truly worth my money. The process itself was pretty simple. I emailed my contact and he was able to provide me with a detailed report within a few days. Once the inspection was complete, they told me what was up: any signs of rust, scratches, dings, brake pad conditions, test drive results, etc. They also emailed me a report with pictures. To schedule the appointment, I had to email them with the car VIN and dealership info. They emailed back with car history and market value reports. I actually emailed them 3 separate times, because I couldn't decide on what car to buy. Every time, they responded back within 3 business days. On the day of the appointment, I just had to call at least one hour in advance to confirm the appointment. I'm very relieved to know that the car I'm going to purchase is in very good condition. !!!Uber drivers be aware!!!!…read more They sell uber inspection and Lyft inspection. They charge you double and try to make you think if you only do uber inspection that Lyft won't accept the inspection form. The truth is that you only need to do uber inspection and submit the same form on Lyft and it will be accepted. If you don't believe me call uber and ask them if you can submit Lyft inspection form and they will confirm it's valid. Or vice versa you can ask Lyft support if uber inspection form is valid and they will confirm yes! Don't pay for uber inspection AND Lyft. Just pay for one and submit on both platforms. This place is lying and I will be reporting them to the attorney general for deceptive business practices. I disregarded what the guy behind the desk kept on saying and only did the uber inspection and submitted for both uber and Lyft and was approved within 10 minutes proving the employee wrong. The supposed "manager" sitting behind the desk also supported the employees wrong claims. They're just looking for dummies who will agree and pay $40 for both Lyft and uber inspection. TIREkickers at the uber greenlight hub on north ave will also tell you that you can use the same uber inspection form for Lyft. The inspection is the SAME! So why pay for uber inspection AND Lyft inspection. The USA is not the same anymore nothing but thieves and scammers left and this place is in the scammers category.

I have used Riverside Garage for a few things and they have always been fair and honest with me. Most recently I thought I needed new brake pads on my Rav-4, so I dropped it off for the guys to check out. They easily could have told me I needed new pads and sold them to me, I wouldn't know the difference, as I am not a "car person". They told me I still have a ways to go before I need new pads. I really appreciate their honesty. Then they found a nail that had been in my back tire and removed it and plugged it for a very reasonable price! We purposely waited to do this until after we've had a handful of trips to see how things held up and to also figure out what might need to be fixed while still under warranty. Rob was so helpful, from our initial communication through completion of inspection, he is very prompt and thorough. Also, the report that we received as a result of the inspection was very similar to that of a home inspection, there were a lot of pictures and detailed references to things that he found. he also took the time to explain safety stuff and pointed out things in the report for our own reference about the RV. There are lots of opportunities to consider when to use Rob, in addition to doing what we did, you can also use him prior to you purchasing and if buying used, I would definitely recommend doing something like this. Additionally, Rob also has repeat customers who do annual safety checks prior to the season starting or at the end of the season to see what maintenance work might need to be done during the down time. I honestly recommend this for everyone whether you are buying new or used. I am so happy that our new RV will have the opportunity to have a handful of minor items addressed while still under warranty as these are things we never would have caught.

I'm so happy she did! Amber, Jeremy and Bob went out of their way to make sure my oil change was done quickly while I waited. Amber checked the air in all of my tires and Jeremy did the change.. He also ran some diagnostics on my 2014 Nissan Versa Note. He gave me a written proposal explaining everything in detail. Luckily, I don't need anything major at this moment. However, I do need a new serpentine belt soon which I never would have known without their help. There was absolutely no pressure to have any repairs done immediately except an air filter which I knew I needed. I will have the work done as I can afford it. He even broke the work down Iinto 3 sections so I can have the most important items fixed first. I highly recommend them for any of your auto repairs. When I came back the next day, all the owner wanted to sell me on was needing my brakes done, and he insisted that my brakes were the only noise. I took the car home, and tested this out, just pressing down on the body to see if I could hear the noise, and I did, so I took the car back. This time he said he wouldn't let one of his techs drive the car because my plates were expired - even though I've never had a shop decline work for this before, I figured that was fair, I could drive the car while his tech listened for what I was hearing. He instead pivoted to wanting to charge me $600 to clear my check engine codes. Not FIX the check engine issue - just clear the codes. Of course, he pretended like he was just going to do some magic trick to get my car passing emissions, but it was very clear he was just talking about resetting the codes. In the middle of this conversation, I also saw him directly try to steal from a customer. There was a customer who came in to return a part. It was clear that there was a phone conversation had ahead of time, and an agreed upon price, and there was definitely some tension between these two, as well - seemed like the customer wasn't exactly happy with the owner. The owner counted out the cash to return to the customer, and then started arguing with the customer for a bit, while discretely folding the cash and putting it in his pocket. While the owner was being nice the entire time, he did try ending the conversation, until the customer had to directly ask for his money again, while the owner basically went "oh silly me, I put it in my pocket and forgot!" Long story short, everyone else seems to have had a great experience here, but I basically had 3 super scammy experiences within one visit.
