DFI Installed our quartz countertop in September 2024. Initially Martha was professional and responsive and the counterop itself is lovely. The finish work is aweful. The edgework is sloppy chipped after just 6 months. They re- caulked the backsplash 3 times and it is cracking and discolored. After a while, Martha just stopped returning my calls. read more

Martha and her team were amazing! Martha did amazing with taking our original design given by someone else and making the adjustments that fit our kitchen size and our dreams and goals for the kitchen. She was very patient with us as lots had gone on and we had to delay our project for a few months. Martha always answered all of my questions whenever I had them. Actual cabinet install went great not many complaints there. I will say kitchen is not "move in" ready. I did have to go into each cabinet and vacuum up dust/wood particles and wipe clean. Some of the cutouts for outlets were not precise and wood was splintered. My BIGGEST complaint is with the stone installers. So much so that I can't fully enjoy my full backsplash and countertops to the full extent due to the following. There was a misinterpretation of whether the sink got installed or we installed it ourselves. We were told we had to do it so we had plans of direction and how under plumbing would be. Well, the kitchen sink was installed in whatever direction they wanted and we were not asked our preference(was able to be corrected so no big deal). The caulking job... in the sink area was MESSY, some areas was thicker than others, spilled out of the area, looks like it was done in a rush. (thankfully Israel cleaned it up before he left when I asked). In the areas where the backsplash meets the countertop there are inconsistent areas where there is little to no caulking to connect the two pieces but just to the left or right of that area it looks perfect. Martha did say these pieces might disconnect as everything sets and can just re-caulk it but it was never done correctly for that to even happen. Nonetheless, when you're paying a couple thousand you'd expect it to be done nicely and correctly, or for them to return a few days later to properly seal the pieces. Lastly, the white quartz I chose is beautiful and I love it so much. However, seems like the installers had never washed their hands and with the work they were doing they left many dirt and other stains on the white parts of the quarts, I've tried cleaning them and of course they do not come out. They also left lots of caulk on the cabinets and handles that I had to go back in and clean myself in fear it would stain the cabinet paint. I'm happy with my kitchen just wish these minor details had been noticed by all parties involved which would have allowed me to be perfectly in love with my kitchen. read more

Prio to install everything was great. The customer service was amazing, they were helpful in helping be get the most cabinets I could in my small kitchen. I paid for demo and installed and have no complaints. Unfortunately two days after installation I was making breakfast when I noticed a White mark on my cabinet and I realized my jean zipper had scratched off the pant. I called Martha to tell her what happened and if they sold touch up paid. She said no and would call me back. That was 6 plus months ago. I never received a call back. I now treat my kitchen like a museum because any little thing scratches the paint off the cabinets and without a way to touch it up it's noticable and unfixable. It's really difficult because a kitchen is a high traffic area. Other than this everything else was fine. read more

Martha and her team did a big change to our kitchen, hallway, and living room. I attached before and after pictures of the huge difference. I had started painting the walls, changed the kitchen windows, and took down a arch that we previously had in our kitchen. The original plan was to leave everything else as is. We decided to just change out cabinets and maybe do the floors. We stumbled upon DFI Stones. And man were we happy that we did!! Martha listened carefully to our needs. Gave suggestions to certain crazy ideas. She made sure to update us on any issues at the end of every work day. Martha's team was very professional. They demolished our tile floor and cabinets and all trash was taken by them. At the end of each day that they came in to work, they always made sure to leave everything clean. My review is long over due from July. I had a counter top guy, previous to DFI, who didn't follow through. I decided to rely on the reviews here and gave them a shot. To begin Martha's son calmed me and helped me because I had been two weeks without a kitchen and my mother in law was coming into town within a few days. Martha and her team are phenomenal to work with and were very attentive to all my crazy questions and requests. I wanted to remodel my kitchen and master bath and visited with several shops near my home. It wasn't until I was referred to Martha that it all came together. Unlike other places, she really prides herself and business on "collaboration" with her clients. She does not force her ideas but listens very well and encourages questions, no matter how trivial...she does not think of them as trivial. She understands that remodels are very important, can be frustrating, and a big financial investments, so she definitely wants to make sure that you are at ease every step of the way. My two projects took about 3 weeks to complete...amazing timeline! DFI team are very efficient, stayed the full day, and cleaned up after the day was over. Martha and her team are aces and best-in-class partners. They not only did a great job remodeling our kitchen but they also made us feel very comfortable with the entire process from inspection, measurements, design selection, tile installation, payment processing, demolition, cleaning, and etc. We've looked into alternative choices like Ikea and others - they didn't offer the streamline and end-to-end processes that DFI did. With Ikea, you have to hire multiple vendors to have your entire kitchen set-up. In terms of pricing, DFI offers very competitive and attractive packages. The whole process took less than 1 week from demolition to installation and Martha always answered and quickly responded to our call and text messages whenever we had questions. Every individual worked for Martha and there was a strong working relationship with those who worked on the project. We are so happy with the work they did for us! They changed the flooring for our entire house plus the flooring for our back unit rental property, and changed the kitchen cabinets for both units as well. They are truly professional, friendly, efficient and tried as best as possible to make the entire process the least inconvenient as possible since we were occupying the main house the whole time they worked on it. Martha followed up with us on a daily basis and explained to us all the steps. I loved how she offered suggestions for minor decorative details that never occurred to us when starting the process.
