Took my car here to have the exterior worked on for hail damage and ended up with almost more $ in damage than what I brought it to the shop with. They put a big scratch on my touch screen that spans 3+ inches, which is about $5k to replace through Subaru, as well as caused damage to the upper console in my car. When I spoke with the general manager, Steve, in person he said he would be calling the owner to discuss a resolution "as soon as possible". (This was on Tuesday 11/5) After two weeks of no response, I reached out to let them know the damage was still there and that I hadn't heard anything and would be leaving a review detailing my experience. Steve then decided it was suddenly important to address the issue, two weeks after he promised to do so the first time. After some back and forth, and providing images and videos of the damage to the screen and upper console (which Steve admitted to causing the damage to and claimed he was ordering the parts for), I was not satisfied with his "effort" to make good on his promises of making me whole, as he claimed there was no way they could've damaged my screen despite admitting to causing damage to the part directly above it. They charged my insurance $6k for minor hail damage, kept my car for over a month, didn't fix all of the damage caused by the hail, caused more damage to the interior, and then had the nerve to say he was "done responding" because I said he has no integrity. When you look a man in the eyes, make a commitment, and shake his hand then back out of all of those promises, that shows a lack of integrity and shady business practices, in my opinion. There were also pieces of trim laying in my backseat when I went to pick the car up, even though they had finished working on it a few days prior to me picking it up (I was out of town). Steve acted like it was no big deal and just snapped the trim back into place right in front of me, after claiming that it was "the old broken piece of trim" and that it wasn't "something they forgot". This was the first major red flag, and I noticed the rest of the damage AND reported it within an hour of picking up the car. If the owner of the body shop is reading this review, your general manager is trying to sweep this under the rug and is refusing to let me speak with you. Steve / DFW Metro Dent have brushed off my concerns and as soon as they got the check from my insurance, the promises went out the window, along with the sense of urgency and communication. Please reach out to me directly, as Steve is refusing to even discuss this further because "I insulted him" by pointing out a lack of quality control and integrity in the shop he manages and oversees. I have screenshots of all of our conversations, as well as him claiming he ordered the parts and then going back on that as well after I said I'd prefer to take it to Subaru and have it properly repaired. I will gladly provide them to the owner, and have already sent everything to my insurance to begin the process of recouping damages and diminished value for my vehicle. I believe in second chances, so I will update this review if any other good faith attempts are made to make me whole. What could've been a learning experience for the shop's employees to not be so careless when touching a customer's car, has now turned into this. They worked on the inside of my car without telling me or asking permission, left pieces of trim off, caused damage to the very expensive screen that I've never touched with anything but my fingers, and lied to me multiple times about the steps they were taking to reach a resolution. I can't honestly recommend DFW Metro Dent to anyone after the horrible treatment I've received from them. I would make this a one star review, but they did a decent job on the hail damage that was repaired, and Yelp has a habit of unfairly removing honest 1 star reviews. read more

took my 2000 Chevy Tahoe in for some dent removal on every body panel and the extra time he took to make sure it was perfect and the quailing of his work is top notch. on top of doing the dents, my rear passenger window wouldn't roll down so he called and asked about it. he diagnosed it for me and was only the window switch. So it was a 2 deal for me. got all the dents pulled out and my window fixed at the same time read more

The team at Metro Dent went above and beyond with this huge job they had on their hands. I was very worried when i saw the condition of the pillars and roof on the car, but it came out looking like brand new. They do so much more than just your average PDR work. Absolutely stay away from metro dent The service has been everything but acceptable. First off starting with the communication when I had first dropped my car off on the 18TH of March, I had talked to Beto and Justin about the parts I wanted they then confirmed. I then followed up the week later talking with Samantha and I was told that there was no mention of parts in my folder and that she would mark them down. I had then called back at the end of the week to make sure and talked to Justin, who confirmed the parts with me once again. I then called on the 1st of April and talked to Samantha once again and was told of no mention of the parts and that I should speak to Tony, when I tried to call him back he was not in the shop. On April 3rd I had decided over the phone was not good enough for them so I went to the shop and spoke to Tony directly. He then ordered the parts some time after April 3rd over 17+ days after I had originally dropped off my car causing it to be delayed. Then I had checked in 2 weeks later and was told the parts had not arrived. The rental I was using was no longer covered by my insurance because it was over 30+days and then did not extend it. I then went to the shop to get a loaner vehicle from them. And I further asked Tony again about the parts he sent me a delay notice he received. Then when I had called him a week later to see if he got any follow up he said they had not messaged him. I then felt like I had to call the parts provider myself as Tony couldn't be bothered to do so and was able to see where my part was and it took only 5 minutes. Then all of my parts where In on April 24. It is now the 9th of May and my car parts has not been yet to be done and I have been told my car would be ready for pick up the last three days and at the last minute before they close I'm am notified it's not ready so I can not respond. At this point I asked to meet at the shop at 7:30pm to go over it because I was originally picking up my car at 8:00pm and Tony said that would be fine, then texted me later saying no one would be at the shop for me to talk too. They have been playing cat and mouse with me, I have to hound them for updates and being left on delivered for a week when I ask about my vehicle that they have had for almost 2 months. And as of yesterday I was told my vehicle is done and just needs to finish a detail, which was not the truth and they had not even put the interior of my car back together lying and telling me last minute that it's not done. I was not given and updates on my car unless I called them. I again highly do not recommend DFW metro dent as they have terrible customer service and I still have no idea what's going on with my car or if it's in good shape. I recommend any other shop, so for the sake of your vehicle STAY AWAY!!!! read more

My lease is up on my vehicle next month, problem was someone had hit my passenger door and of course did not leave a note, a piece of an igloo cooler hit my car on the highway, and some light hail damage on my trunk... Service was good, and while it took a week longer than expected, there was a lot of hail damage. My only complaint is this: I had a scratch on my door. Metro Dent called my insurance twice to get more money to fix hail, but didn't do the extra step of calling me to see if I wanted that scratch fixed. So I get my car back, like new, but still scratched. I asked the shop manager why they wouldn't make that call to me, and was told that they just don't do it. It's not done in the industry. Personally, I can't understand why someone who owns a shop would have a car there, with a scratch, and not ask the owner if they want it fixed. This actually seems to be pretty standard. I had another car at another shop and when it came back, they didn't fix part of the damage. They told me that it wasn't part of the insurance claim - but they never bothered to ask me if I wanted it fixed. The industry seems to have tunnel vision. These guys did a great job on my hail but didn't take the extra step to provide what I would consider 5 star service. read more

Insisting on a paint-less dent repair, I was told by other repair shops that 50% better was all I could hope for. The dent was close to the size of a dollar bill and directly on the body line of the car (some ignorant person opened their door and smashed it into my car...paint transfer an all...even though I park in the distance). Metro Dent did a great job on repairing the hail damage on my car back in May 2017. It took about 4 weeks to complete (they told me it would take 3). However, when they delivered my car to me, it looked brand new. My only complaint with Metro Dent is their follow-up process. They don't call you with updates on your car - you have to call them. I would call, and they said they would call me back later that day. No call back. I would call the next day, and the same thing would happen. Finally on the third day, I would get someone to give me an update without them saying "Let us call you back" by saying I would wait on the line until they could give me an update. I referred my boyfriend to Metro Dent and he is currently experiencing these exact same issues - delayed timeline, no follow ups, no call backs. I know they will do a great job repairing the vehicle which is the most important thing, but having a better follow-up process is highly needed. If you want to know what's happening with your vehicle or even when it will be ready on your promised date, you have to be persistent in getting an answer, because it probably won't come easily. read more

These guys are fair and they do a great job! I had a door ding on my pretty new Jaguar. I was sick. It was the 5th one and the car only has 9k miles on it! I had Snell body shop (recommended by Jaguar) fix the other dents and they did a terrible job. After returning it to them a couple of times I just gave up. THEN I got another dent on the repaired door. I figured I'd just let them PDR it. What did I have to lose at that point? Sean came out and told me the price and said it wouldn't be long. within 30 minutes the ding was totally gone and he had touched up the scratch in the middle of the dent. And gave me the touch up paint! You have to work to find it. I was thrilled. They will be the first ones I see WHEN I get another dent on any of my three cars. Nice job guys! read more

Where do I begin. I have a brand new 2016 Audi A6 of 5-months, which I rarely drive. Unfortunately, I was stuck in an unexpected hail storm in Denton, TX. My insurance company wanted me to take my car to a list of repair centers they recommended. Everyone hates hail damage but when you get your car back from being repaired and looking like new there is no better thing. I had hail damage from late March of this year and I put it off for so long because I was looking for a good shop to do it and I know it's just such a process.
