When I politely asked how much longer it would be, her response was snippy and unprofessional. She even asked, "Why? Do you have somewhere else you need to be?" I explained that I had another appointment and would need to call and push it back. Her only response was an annoyed sigh. I had to decline an originally planned part of my service because the new product (an only option) used has something I'm allergic to in it. Throughout the service, she barely spoke to me and only offered to count down halfway through the wax appointment. It was more painful than usual and felt very rushed. Her overall demeanor made me feel like she was annoyed to be there--or at least annoyed to be working with me. To make matters worse, it has been two days since my appointment and I have not received any follow-up survey, which is usually standard. This is not the level of professionalism I expect, and it made the entire visit uncomfortable. I doubt I will return to this establishment and will definitely decline service from this technician.

During my appointment on Tuesday, April 28 at 10 am in Flower Mound, I encountered a technician who was not only unprofessional but refused to verify the medication she was injecting into my body. I will NOT be returning. Upon entering, she complained about the cleanliness of the room, which felt like an inappropriate critique of her colleagues in front of a patient. When she asked which shot I was receiving, I took a moment to check my records. She appeared frustrated and abruptly left the room. When she returned with a pre-filled syringe, she did not verify the medication name with me. When I tried to confirm that it was the "Skinny Shot" and asked for the specific name of the medication, she interrupted me and refused to answer, repeatedly asking only "right or left?" for the injection site. Because she refused to communicate or confirm what was in the syringe, I left feeling unsure if the medication was even administered correctly. I have canceled all future appointments. I expect a basic level of professional courtesy and transparency regarding the treatments I am paying for, neither of which were provided here.

We found it on Yelp and it had decent reviews (4 stars) so we gave it a try. But that will be the last time. I did tell the owner about the issues and she was apologetic and nice, but they didn't adjust the price or change anything - just gave us gift cards to apply for another visit. I hope they make it, but there are some basic changes necessary. First, give the place a thorough cleaning. It's dirty. The massage chairs have seen better days, and the pillows they give you are fabric and badly stained. Their tools and practices seemed clean while doing the pedis, but it's general upkeep that's needed. They brought out fabric neck wraps but we declined - didn't seem sanitary. The steamers they wheeled out were filthy and had gross looking water in them with stuff floating in it. The "hot stones" and the water was room temp, and the lotions and creams they were using were cold. The paraffin was lukewarm and they had a heck of a time getting it off because it left little pieces all over our feet and legs. Fortunately, these things are all fixable, but for the price, it wasn't a great experience.
