They emailed me a quote I called them the next day and a couple of time after that to have the repairs done. They never called me back. On the second to last day of my three week stay, their hot water heater sprung a leak. To make matters worse, this was Saturday and I was leaving for Los Angeles at 3 AM Monday morning. My parents were panicking. I got on Yelp and found three plumbers to come out that day and give us an estimate for replacing it. The first estimate was a bit steeper than we hoped. The second estimate (from GEM) was outrageous --almost double the price of the first estimate. My parents were freaking out. Then Brandon from Service Professionals (Somerset) arrived. He took one look at my parents' water heater and said how new it looked and that it should still be under warranty. (The other plumbers hadn't noticed this and my parents didn't remember that they got it only 3 years ago). Brandon went on to explain that because it was probably still under warranty, he would be able to take it out, bring in and get it replaced for much less. He said he could do the switch out with the warranty replacement first thing Monday. OMG! I had to leave my parents' water heater replacement job in a stranger's care. My dad is 89 years old and my mom is 84. To say that it would be easy to take advantage of them is an understatement. I couldn't sleep wondering if I had chosen the right plumber for the job. I just finished one of my bi-weekly Skype visits with the folks. They are thrilled with the beautiful work that Brandon did. What a relief! Brandon did exactly what he said he would do. He pulled out the old water heater, brought it in, got it replaced under warranty and installed the replacement for the price that he quoted. I am so grateful! Recently, my aunt paid for a preseason maintenance call (6/2/26) for her AC unit like she has for the past 14 years. After changing her filters they told her the unit was fine. This visit was very quick and it was an easy $260 in their pockets. One week later she turns on the unit and the upstairs isn't working. Well guess what, another service call and techs that don't know left from right and don't have all the tools they need to test the system, they need to contact their boss and leave. BUT not before taking her credit card payment for the service call, so another $150. When I called to have this explained to me, the office manager Jeff over talks me and hangs up when I asked if he thought that was good business practice. Bottom line, DO NOT USE THEM unless you want poor service, techs that act like it's the first time they have seen an AC unit before and a company that is rude. There are plenty of reputable companies in this area now besides them. Wish I could give NO STARS!!!

Hit or miss experience with Roia appliance company. We used them twice for different issues. One…read morewas for the washing machine and the other for dishwasher. The first time, we called them because our Samsung washing machine was leaking. They found the problem and thought they'd fixed it but it still kept happening. So they came back for no additional fee and fixed another part that eventually fixed the problem. They charged 150$ for the diagnostic fee. The second time, we called them because our kitchen aid dishwasher was not working. They charged 150$ for the diagnostic fee again and said the motherboard was fried after a power surge, and that the part was unavailable for months. We called kitchen aid and had one of their contracted technicians come few weeks later. They said that something was wrong with the motor pump. They said both parts were available, and they'd have the motor pump fixed in a week's time. Only thing was we had to pay for their labor again and for the part time. So totally, we ended up spending 600$ and could've bought a new machine itself. Overall, they respond quickly and send someone out fairly soon. Sometimes they're helpful, other times not.
