He instantly went into why I was going to die, telling me that "hunger is healthy" (I was actually skipping a lot of meals and I can't even begin to tell you how outdated this mindset is), and how I have to sign a fat promise agreement, which was filled with A LOT of outdated information on weight loss - it's on his website. I find it interesting he has glowing reviews, which is what I had gone off of and had been relieved to read. BUT in reality if you want to be abused for your weight and have a doctor who uses outdated information, then he is the doctor for you. I'd really suggest not wasting both your time. Hard pass.

I love that they do everything while you're waiting to get in a room. I had x rays then a CT scan, an ultrasound and bloodwork. By the time I got to the back the dr had all of my results. The Dr was honestly amazing. He sat down and wanted to know how he could help me and actually listened. He explained things so I could understand and didn't rush me. His bedside manner was the very best. I could go on and on about how great he was. His name is Dr. Bret Winners. My nurse was Austin and he was just as amazing. They were very busy yet took all the time Ì needed. I never felt rushed. Or like I was asking too many questions. Austin went above and beyond to help me and I so appreciate him! I wish I remembered everyone's name but sadly I dont. They all deserve recognition. All of the techs and transporters were also so kind and helpful. Truly amazing people work there. Dr Michell's incision on my c section was perfect, it was better than the first incision. I had a ton of scar tissue that he had to work around. My third pregnancy, I had to have a traditional c section. Dr Mitchell had another surgeon who specializes in oncology help with my c section. I met him in Northridge hospital ER exactly a year ago when he took care of my elderly mother, admitted with a recurrent upper GI hemorrhage. She had been scoped before, and no source of bleeding had been identified. We had almost lost hope in obtaining a valid diagnosis let alone stopping the bleeding. Providers had given up on my suffering mother and were treating her like a hypochondriac... Then came that young yet fearless Dr. Naim. He acted like the person in charge. He is not someone who will accept missing a diagnosis, and this is a trait so rare nowadays. He studied my mother's extensive imaging history. He also called me and explained elaborately his assessment and plan to me. He is a natural teacher. He scoped my mother and found a 3-mm gastric ulcer that he clipped, and we never saw a trace of that again. So thankful for Dr. Naim's care of my mother who soon later passed away for an unrelated reason. Physicians need to remember that how they treat a patient may be the last act of mercy or battery in the patient's life, and one of the last memories the patient's survivors are left with. God bless your hands Dr. Naim.
