There is a nice area to sit inside with a few tables if you choose to dine in, as well as a larger outdoor patio space to sit at which I really liked and will be perfect in the summer time. Jossi's had a lot more then just bakery as they offered traditional Latin food options such as empanadas as well as some other warm pastries. They also do custom cakes and personalized orders which is really awesome and they seem like a great team of people to work alongside if you are interested! I tried the carrot cake cupcake which was light and delicate, as well as tried the packaged alfajores which were not my favorite but was happy to try them. They also offered specialty coffees and drinks as well as selling their own ground coffee for purchase in a horchata flavor. I do wish they had their prices posted on the large menu just to reference as I found myself having to ask the price of a couple things. Overall, this bake shop is a charming place and reasonably priced and I am glad to have it tucked away into Broadview Heights. Visit the neighboring stand Rising Star for an elevated cup of coffee. Sandwiches: Breakfast sandwiches (when available) are so yummy! You can add on bacon or sausage (not both). They are prepped very quickly and have the freshest bun. Must order! I will say that they're a little pricey ($9 and $2.50 extra if you want to add bacon or sausage). Bread/pastries: The case is usually full of different pastries. Croissants are really good here but light on filling. Breads are hit or miss. On some days they are very dry, at the start of the week much better. Service: Always pleasant and quick. Usually your order is taken care of before interaction with the next customer. This keeps things moving along very efficiently. Seating: After you order, you can sit at the Market Hall or on the patio. Lots of seating choices - tables, couches, high tops, and booths. She put in my order ($50 cake) and when I arrived on the day my order was ready. I ordered this cake for a birthday that's immediately after Christmas and I had a hard time finding a bakery that could provide this type of cheesecake (raspberry) under these conditions, so I was very impressed at the professionalism and availability. But then the woman at the counter tried to charge me $75 for my cake even though the ticket taped on the box said in big sharpie letters "my name, $50" $75 vs $50 is a very big difference in price for an 8" single layer cheesecake. I corrected her and she asked me to wait for someone to show up to confirm the price.... But I didn't see her confer with anyone and again the price was written on the order ticket. After waiting about 5min she was ready to take my payment and said $50 was okay but didn't apologize or explain the confusion as to why she tried to charge me more. That doesn't feel good, if it was a "mix-up" then just tell me so I can make an informed decision next time. With no explanation provided it doesn't feel like a "mix-up" or even honest. The cake tastes really great, I love the people who helped me on the phone, I love that this bakery was available and flexible, and clearly they are very popular and well-loved. I have no idea if I'd come back though. I see another reviewer saying that they didn't receive the correct change. At around 11am, they were already out if most pastries and desserts but still had a lot of sliced breads available. Thanks to the helpful staff, I picked up a 1 lb loaf of the European Rye (the bread that started it all decades ago) and a cinnamon twist for a treat. Now this is what real bread tastes like! Most of their bread is sourdough based and tastes heavenly. I had a slice of the European Rye to test it out before bringing it home to my family. It was so good, I almost don't want any of my family to have it! The cinnamon twist was gone in a flash. A few seconds in a microwave and the heavenly aroma was all over the office. Both items cost me about $7 in all. I think those are great prices for great products! This place is a little off the beaten path (bakery is in the back... you'll see a cool 1965 vintage Chevy by the door) but it is very much worth the trip!
