He welcomed us right away with enthusiasm. He was warm and genuine. Although my bf knew what he wanted right away I took a while. There was a group of 3 that came in after us. The interior is pretty with a soft color palette and every single baked good looked gorgeous! I had a tough time deciding which cupcake I'd buy to treat myself. It was between the carrot cake, peanut butter buckeye, strawberry cassata, and the cinnamon churro. The employee convinced me to make my first cupcake of theirs the carrot cake. The carrot cake cupcake I got was beautiful. The cream cheese frosting was not too sweet and the cake itself was the perfect, moist cake. It could have used more nuts, though. Also conspicuously absent was slices of actual carrots embedded in the cake. I also got one lime margarita macaroon to eat later. Looked great, tasted fine. Had the crunch a good macaroon requires but the lime margarita wasn't as "in your face" as I would have liked. So let's be real for a sec. I get that I am kind of a cheap person, but the prices are insane, especially for one macaroon. Together, it cost me $7.50. Well, iis White Cake at Eton my new favorite bakery? I have a confession, one of which I am not proud. I really do not like buttercream frosting. I won't say hate because of course, like any sane partygoer, I'll eat the cake. But, my mind wanders to a place of lighter, whipped goodness. White Flower claims to have the best buttercream frosting so my skeptical heart said we'll see about that. Welp, call me a fool. Because they just might be right. Okay, scratch that. They ARE right. Their buttercream is in many of their delectable goodies and I understand how they can make this claim. AMAZING!!! I was visiting Ohio and wanted a good bakery treat with real buttercream. I stumbled upon this cute little shop in a small mall and could not believe how gorgeous the cakes were! The shop is adorable and sparking clean and the desserts are attractively showcased. And very reasonably priced! I ended up with 2 vanilla cupcakes and 3 large macarons, 2 raspberry and 1 vanilla. They were all fantastic!! Super fresh, real flavors and quality ingredients. Not to mention they all looked stunning! The buttercream was hands down the best I have ever had in my life! And the macarons were as big as a tennis ball! I have had many Ladurée macarons in Paris and other bakeries in the US and these were outstanding!! The young man helping me was a wonderful example of good customer service. He was polite and helpful and knew the product line well. I neglected to take pictures because I started sampling the treats as I was pulling out of the parking lot. Had a Buckeye cupcake for $3.00. It's good but not great or a place I would be super motivated to go back to. But it does the job of good presentation. I feel Most of their items are over priced. There is no seating inside the store but a few seats outside the shop. There is a lot parking right outside. They do a lot of wedding, birthday and personalized cakes. THEIR CAKE WAS A MISTAKE!! We called the Chagrin Blvd location and ordered a cake for my daughter's college graduation. This is the only location we have ever gone to and know of. The day my wife went to go pick it up the cake wasn't there. They forgot to do it. Later that day I called and they stated the cake was in Strongsville. Which is an hour away from us. Why would we order a cake an hour away from a location we never knew existed? We asked for a refund and they actually said no. They couldn't refund us 70.00. So I drove a total of 2 hours for a cake. Get it home there are none of the decorations that we discussed and the color was wrong with no ombre. Top it off the cake itself was very dry like it was frozen too long. read more

Another bakery, another attempt at finding THE cupcake place. I will say, the small interior is adorable and very bright so kudos for that. I ordered the strawberry cupcake to go. It came in a cardboard box which is fine unless you're going somewhere far and don't secure the box. Even then, the cupcake may tip over and ruin the frosting so I do wish it was better packaged. The cupcake was $3.00 which isn't bad but keep in mind that the cupcake is not exactly large so take that as you will. Now, on to the cupcake itself. The cake itself was a pretty decent plain vanilla cupcake, not too dry or too wet or dense. The frosting consistency was good, the pink had a mild strawberry taste from what appears to be strawberries blended and it was rather sugary. The white portion of the frosting on top, I'm honestly not sure why it was there. It was just...very very sweet. It looks very nice but adds absolutely nothing to the taste. Overall I would have to say the cupcake was average at best, meh at worst. I don't know if it's just the one I ordered but if I'm getting a strawberry cupcake I would hope if would taste more like strawberries, rather than just mildly like strawberries and mostly like sugar. read more

Yelp is supposed to be based on valid reviews of service. If you have had no real interaction with a business, don't unfairly drag the star rating down, fellow 'Yelper'. This was the best cake I've eaten in 10 years. We got the 6 inch white butter cream. It was so moist not too sweet perfect texture consistency everything about it was delicious. The decorating on it was amazing. They made it look like some of it was fondant but it was real buttercream frosting which was so much better than if it had been fondant. We also got a couple of chocolate and vanilla gluten-free cupcakes which were equally delicious. One thing because it is butter cream and it has a lot of butter in it it must stay refrigerated until about 45 minutes prior to eating it. So my friend recently tried a macaron place on the west side and when I asked him how it was he said he couldn't compete with this place, so naturally I had to try it. I stopped in and ordered 1 of each flavor and told the woman how my bf and I always try 1 of each flavor when we find new macaron places. It's always great to meet an owner of a ppl place working on a Saturday. Its refreshing. Not only are their macarons twice as large as ones you get anywhere else, you get twice the filling and its soooooooo delicious and luxurious!!! I woke up and realized I needed a cake ASAP. I just got back from out of town and figured I'd surprise my boyfriend with a belated birthday cake. I purchased one Red Velvet and one of a chocolate variety. They were both very moist and delicious. The cake was also great! I was surprised how good it was to be honest. Entitled White Flower Cupcakes this shop is apparently the second location of 16 year friends Lauren Bozich and Marianne Carroll - their first at LaPlace Shopping Center and featuring larger designer cakes. A limited but delightful collection of well decorated and pricey cakes ($2.95ea) it took a few moments to decide but we eventually settled on something old and something new - Red Velvet and Pancake. Starting first with the Red Velvet - without a doubt the best I've had in Ohio. Dense and aromatic cocoa cake with a somewhat subdued sweetness was a perfect counterbalance for the luscious and glossy cream cheese frosting. Everyone in the car agreed this was not just good, but "wow" worthy. The second selection proved another stunning option with an equally dense cake packing high notes of cinnamon and butter topped with a delectable maple butter cream and a vein of buttery maple syrup running down the core of the cake. Smaller and more costly than the average cake I have to say I'd go back without hesitation - sometimes you get what you pay for. read more
