Quite a few styles and colors to choose from and excellent lighting. It wasn't but a few minutes before Dawn came out the deliver the glasses and the first thing that caught my eye was the remount if cleavage she was exposing and how much more was presented as she leaned into my mothers direct view to place the glass on her. I found this pretty unprofessional. Next, they go through discussing the comfort of the glasses and when my mother makes a comment about her glasses being progressive and the woman corrected her but then continued to make her point loudly and with a demeanor that was boarding degrading. It was upsetting to watch. I find it surprising that such a nice place be misrepresented in such a way and by someone who was also lacking personal hygiene. I'll absolutely be back when I am ready to make a purchase personally but I know which employee I will not be working with.

I received a call a short while later from the receptionist saying she complained on my behalf and her persistence paid off - insurance gave in and let them handle it rather than me. bigger places wouldn't care enough to do that. thanks southtown!

Honestly, I chose CJ Sabatini because of their proximity to where I live. I very much like to support local business. So, I make the appointment to get my exam and glasses and upon arrival the first person I encounter is Chris - the owner. From the minute I met him I knew I was in good hands. He was very friendly and treated me respectfully and it was obvious he appreciated my business. He was not being governed by some franchise pressures to meet sales quotas and up sell. Chris was genuinely interested in me, as a person. So much so that there would have been a small balance over and above what my insurance would allow and Chris just said "forget it" and only charged me the insurance reimbursement amount. How many places would have turned down the opportunity to make addition money - regardless of how small that amount might have been? In short, Chris is a star. His pricing is very competitive. He delivered my glasses exactly when he said he would. He is an honest, reliable, businessman and he is the only one I will purchases glasses from when I need them again. his staff is also wonderful. With COVID I understand a lot of places have short staffing and but no sense in being nasty to people. Plus the variety is too low. You are better off, just getting your prescription from the doctor and tell them you don't want to buy glasses. Then send your prescription to a third party glasses maker online and pay like $50 for prescription glasses rather than spending $500 for bad service and lies they tell you. My glasses were late by 1 month. Yes for $500 I waited 1 month for our glasses. The lady on the phone told me they called me n left a voice mail. No they didn't leave any voicemails.
