Had a great dinner at Di Pescara, both the food and service were excellent. The restaurant wasn't too busy when we went, which made for a really nice, relaxed dining experience. We each ordered the Supper Club special (two total), Between us, we tried the chopped salad, tomato soup, prime chopped steak, almond-crusted whitefish, chocolate mousse cake, and peppermint ice cream. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and plated beautifully. The steak was juicy and cooked perfectly, the whitefish had a crisp golden crust, and the sides were seasoned just right. Both desserts were excellent: the mousse cake was rich and smooth, and the peppermint ice cream was a great finish. Our server was friendly and attentive, and overall the meal felt well-paced and enjoyable. Definitely a spot we'll come back to for a nice dinner out.

Lovely restaurant! The menu is very diverse and offers something for everyone. Service was extremely friendly. The sweet potato fries were delicious. I also had the orchard salad with salmon which was very fresh. The chocolate mousse dessert is MASSIVE. It's literally FOUR hefty slices of cake. I also loved the key lime pie!

Nothing really stood out to me as amazing during my visit to Di Pescara. The appetizers were probably the best part of my meal, especially the tuna tartare and crispy tuna rice. Both dishes had a good amount of tuna, and the dishes were flavorful as well. The crispy tuna rice was my favorite dish of the night. However, the fried lobster sushi had no flavor and was expensive for the portion. I think it was like $17 for six pieces. For the main courses, my favorite was the almond crusted white fish and side pasta with vodka sauce. The whitefish had a nice crunch to it while the vodka sauce on the pasta had a nice bite to it. However, the cheeseburger was very bland, and the fries were stale. Some of the fries were ok while most of them were hard to chew. The branzino also didn't have too much seasoning. The portions for everything were large, but the food overall lacked depth and flavor. Our service was phenomenal. Our waitress was very friendly, stopped by often, and had a great attitude.

Probably one of the few places remaining that are keeping this mall (that has seen better days) alive. If you're entering from the mall, it's a weird slide door entrance then you end up awkwardly and walking through the restaurant to get to host stand. Anyways it's very spacious and I suppose in it's prime (when the mall had more stores) I'd assume this place would be at capacity. Enough about the mall, the food here was actually very good. While it's probably more of a seafood spot than anything else, I did go for the burger and it was excellent. During our visit they were out of fries, so we had to opt for healthier alternatives (new year new me). To my surprise, the roasted corn was actually quite good. Why the just okay rating? Service. To start, we arrived at beginning of the lunch hour and service was just fine. As the main dining area and bar started to fill out, there were two only two people serving the entire restaurant. Main server was taking care of the entire restaurant while the bartender was taking care of the entire bar seating area. Seems odd to be that understaffed for the weekend, but then again the mall has seen better days. Anyhow, what I'll remember most food was good, yet they're understaffed. So be prepared to wait if they're at capacity. Last thing to note is they are Lettuce Entertain You affiliated, so have to rewards card/app handy to add or redeem points. 'Til next time, cheers!

Fantastic 1st time Carry out order was very Wow Amazing Fresh veggies u see here. Grilled salmon. Tomato vodka spaghetti was delicious.

I was at an event today here at DiPescara in Northbrook Court! I had the Penne with Shrimp, it was very creamy and tasty, the shrimp was just a bit overcooked! My friends had the Chicken Milanese and BBQ Ginger Salmon, they both look like it was well prepared! The staff was very friendly and efficient! The best was the Valrhona Chocolate mousse cake! It was decadent! The restaurant was a little noisy though for a Tuesday afternoon!

You can't beat their supper club menu. The chopped steak is delicious and the peppermint ice cream is a perfect dessert. #iraeats #iraeats1

Coming to this location and parking is extremely easy because there isn't much traffic in Northbrook court. Came here for a work team dinner. We were seated pretty quickly without a reservation which was nice. The host and waitress were very nice. However they either have no air conditioning or its barely on, so inside it was so uncomfortably hot. I was sticking to my chair. The food did come out relatively quickly I had the sushi and it really is not good residual considering the pride per roll. I had the crispy tuna roll and it was really salty. It took a long time to get water refills, but between the salty sushi and the uncomfortable heat just worsened it. Only giving this place 2 stars since my coworkers said that they did like their meals.

We were able to get last minute reservations for 8:30 on a Friday, which was surprising given how extremely busy this place is on the weekends. We arrived on time and were seated quickly without a wait, which was another impressive moment given how packed the restaurant was. Dining here is like dining in the city on the weekends, with a majority of the crowd tending toward older groups of friends or families without children. There was one family of four who brought their child with them, but generally we saw couples and groups of friends. Dress seems standardly smart casual. Food: The menu here is organized into three sections: small plates, mid-size meals, and entree-sized portions. Keep in mind the mid-sized plates can be on the larger side, so the tapas-style menu can be deceiving. We ordered the steak and frites and branzino as our mains, with polenta fries on the side. For apps, we ordered the butternut squash ravioli and were greeted with complimentary cheesy biscuits to start. We finished our meal with the olive oil cake, covered in raspberries. Based on what we ordered, we'd give this place a 4/5, simply because the steak my husband ordered was a tiny bit tough and overcooked (ordered medium rare, received medium well). The cut was a strip or a ribeye, so unfortunately on the tougher side, and less flavorful. My fish was nicely seared but the cannellini beans that were paired with the branzino just didn't do it for me. Branzino is a white fish that tolerates spice and garnishes very well, so it could have benefited from some more complex flavors. That said, we will be back for the ravioli. I'd wager that it is the best thing on the winter menu (this place rotates menu selections somewhat frequently). It was creamy, complex, and soft, with a delicious umami sauce. The olive oil cake we shared for dessert was also very delicious, moist and well-paired with simple cream and berries. Nice and simple but did the trick without being overwhelming or cloyingly sweet. The biscuits are also a nice touch: soft and buttery, not dry, and baked fresh. Overall, I'd say that veggie and pasta dishes are the way to go here, and potentially the fish if it is paired with a more complex side in the future. We look forward to future menus!

We were seated promptly in the formal dining room which was nicely decorated. Our semi-circular booth was spacious and comfortable. There were different sections in the restaurant that were more casual, tailored to the different tastes of the clients. Overall, food was delicious and portions were huge. I had a Boston Clam Chowder and a Gulf Grouper as the main. I would usually order a salad, but I didn't this time as each entrée came with a large plate of homemade roasted vegetables and wild rice. The Boston Clam Chowder had real pieces of clams in it. However, it was just lukewarm. My grouper looked great and tasted flavorful, but it was somewhat over-cooked (and therefore not tender), which was unfortunate. My wife had a bowl of Lobster Bisque and an order of Stuffed Flounder that had crabmeat sandwiched in the fish. She absolutely loved her choices. Our daughter had a Charbroiled Walleye and liked it too. Her only disappointment was the garlic bread being hard and dry. Our daughter and I each had a Chardonnay Stags Leap which was good, while my wife had a Virgin Mojito and truly enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the highlight of the night was the slice of tiramisu that our friendly and professional server Greg brought to me! It had a lit candle for my birthday, and Greg teamed up with two other waitresses enthusiastically sang me a happy birthday song! The tiramisu was excellent, creamy and not too sweet. I am not a dessert person but really appreciated this. I have a suggestion for the restaurant: as the portions were so large and each of us brought home half of it, it would have been nice that they make the portion 40% to 50% smaller, and lower the average price of $40 per entrée accordingly. It might help attract more customers. Just my two cents. All in all, I had a lovely birthday dinner at Boston Fish Market. Ambience was good, and service was outstanding. We will certainly return again.

Even if we don't consider its rarity, Da Local Boy is a winner in every category. The prices are very fair for the enormous portion sizes, the decor is fun and appropriate, the service is friendly, and food is phenomenal both in flavors and textures. The only possible criticisms are that the space is a bit small for how popular this spot gets, and the parking in the area can be a bit limited around popular meal times. The food here shines, making it worth a special trip -- both again for the rarity but also the quality. For me, the poke nachos are a must order item, just the perfect mix of large chunks of tuna with super crispy wontons, fresh avocado, and a good helping of sauce. Amongst friends, we've agreed that this is a must order item. The huli huli chicken is also unreal in flavor and texture. Besides being marinated and sauced well, the chicken is melt in your mouth tender while simultaneously having a delicious crisp skin. Think brick chicken, but with more flavor and a much better price. The rice and macaroni salad that accompany this are also well done -- and feel more like a core part of the meal rather than an afterthought. The grilled pork is pretty good as well, though I kind of wish it wasn't sliced as thin, as certain pieces felt a bit dry. The spam musubi with a light touch of furikake also provided a flavorful, fun dish to accompany the other delicious items I tried. We have wanted to try Miramar for a long time based on reputation and reviews, so we booked it for our 30th wedding anniversary dinner. TL/DR, food was only ok, service was attentive, but overall experience was disappointing. Selected "anniversary" on the Open Table reservation...and added in the notes that it was our 30th. Nonetheless, nobody said a word about either when we were greeted or seated. Sigh. When we ordered two glasses of champagne, the server asked if we were celebrating. Yes, we were...and were surprised nobody knew... Our meal was fine but only fine. Had the mushroom soup and endive salad, both specials, both pretty good (and the salad big enough to share). She ordered the salmon, I had the lamb shank (both on the menu). I like my food hot...and I am as a result confident that I have never written this before...the food came really hot. TOO hot. Inediblly hot. Both dishes, and especially the lamb. Once it cooled down enough to be edible, the lamb shank and basil whipped potatoes and vegetables were good (dried out a little from the heat?); the salmon was only ok and a little fishy tasting. Her glass of Pinot Grigio was quite nice; mine of Bordeaux was delicious, but served surprisingly warm for a restaurant/glass at this price point -- I'd have expected them to have a proper wine refrigerator. Then, finally... We asked about, and then decided not to have a dessert. The server was kind to bring us a well intentioned delivery of two glasses of prosecco (which we didn't drink --- had already had a champagne and a glass of wine) and asked if we'd like that dessert after all to have with it. We said "sure." They then charged us for the dessert... For the record, our server was kind and attentive and professional, and the rest of the team were equally so. But, in summary, for a pretty aggressive price point, this was a disappointing experience on a night we hoped would be special. Perhaps we're victims of a holiday weekend meal...we're hoping ours isn't a typical experience.
