There is lots of departments like kids, mens, womens, shoes, bags, suitcases and much more. There is a lot to sift through. The pricing was in my opinion a little high. I can find items one sale, cheaper especially with a coupon. I am sure I made a face at some of the pricing like, "Um really. You want that much for that?" The staff were ok. I had one who tried to help, but he was new so he was unsure on the answer. I ended up not staying too long. I was just there for shoes, and walked out empty handed.

I never went down there but, from the windows everything looked beautiful. So many dresses. There is a pretty good clearance section upstairs. The store does have a staircase and elevators. There is a section upstairs for employees... lets call is the employee lounge/workroom. Anthro products are stunning. I love their dresses and cardigans. I love that they have a plus size selection. Their aesthetic really delivers. They have items for the home, accessories, jewelry, clothing, shoes, candles, housewares and much more. I had encountered a few staff members and they were great, even in passing when we were in the elevator. Now Anthro can be pricey, but I can see why. There are times I cringe at a price for a dress of a candle. But, I just tell myself it is not meant to be.

If you are an architectural buff I would stop in just to look at the building and rooms. Though for me it was some retail therapy and appreciating the old architecture of days gone by.

This place is not closed…read more Kiki must have a personality disorder. I have shopped there several times and she acts as if she does not want you there. You are not allowed to touch clothes and if you do not like the things she has pulled for you, she seems upset. She also will dump her personal drama on you. While some of the clothing is unique, there are no tags on anything including prices. Sort of shady, and to be honest, I wonder if some of the stuff is used. She also is rarely there when the hours of the store say she will be. I once found the assistant asleep in the corner on the floor. Kiki was totally unaware she was there. If you are feeling like you have thick skin and want to fight the person you are buying from, it's worth going in there a few times. If you want to feel good about spending hundreds/thousands, you'll go elsewhere.

She also really takes the time to help you find the things that work for you, your body, and your style. Though I do feel it necessary to note that this is definitely not a cheap store, it is definitely a beautiful boutique that you should absolutely get to know and love.

I was in the store for about 20 minutes. So why was the young black salesperson following me? Either the salesperson is racist against her own people or staff is trained to follow black people. Either way, it's not good. Needless to say, I'll never shop at this store again. My recommendation: don't shop in this store if you're African-American. Go elsewhere where you're treated like everyone else, with some respect.

I had not passed by since before the pandemic so it's definitely been a while for me, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the array of upscale offerings here in Center City. It was mostly accessories that would appeal to me, since unlike Saks Fifth Avenue, they do not have a plus size section aka anything north of a size 10 in clothing. But their handbags and their shoes were as beautiful as they come. If you're looking for anything from Victoria Beckham, I think this might be the one place in Philadelphia to find her dresses. But the store gets props for featuring a handmade cashmere and mohair sweater line that was simply dazzling! I was inspired enough that I will return!

Items come back clean and neat and they will drop off your items at your building for you if you live close by! The staff here are really nice as well. I am not sure if the prices are considered reasonable or high as I have not checked out other dry cleaning places in the area but it usually comes out to ~$20 for a dress, $10 for a blouse.

Totally serviceable, friendly, quick, affordable dry cleaning in center city. Prices are normal in my opinion - i pay $15 per two piece suit from time to time and $20 once for silk bedding. I like that they are open till 6PM for the after work crowd. Both times I've come in I was seen almost immediately, and the attendant was kind and helpful. They also do alterations although I've never used that service. Usually get a two day turnaround here, although they mentioned you can rush for an additional fee. I'm quite enthusiastic about this place, and it's nice to find a dry cleaner that is consistent and effective! One really important note is that the hours listed on Google and Yelp are not quite accurate. They are open for full service from 8AM - 6PM Monday thru Friday. The rest of the time, 6PM - 10PM Monday thru Friday, and Saturdays & Sundays 8AM - 10PM are only open for drop off, so you can use a drop box (like a library book return) for self-service drop off.

What should have been one of the most exciting parts of my wedding planning became an absolute nightmare. For four months, Oleksandra reassured me that the dress would be exactly as I had requested, with no indication of any potential issues. She confidently promised that it would look just like the pictures I provided, addressing all my concerns with certainty. However, at the final fitting, she abruptly admitted that the dress I wanted was not possible to make. This came as a complete shock, as there had been no prior warnings or disclaimers. Until that moment, I was only met with reassurance that everything was on track, yet she failed to deliver on her promise. Let me be clear: design choices were discussed upfront. I asked all the right questions, and she reassured me over and over that the dress would be exactly what I wanted. I also want to add that I never asked for any discounts or tried to bargain throughout this process. My only concern was that Oleksandra could make the dress I wanted. There were no misunderstandings, no miscommunications--just broken promises. Oleksandra's behavior was wildly unprofessional and emotionally abusive. She constantly shifted between being overly polite and aggressive, gaslighting me throughout the process. When I raised concerns about the dress not matching what I had ordered, she would praise her work and claim everything was perfect. The moment I pressed further, she began yelling, blaming me for every issue--from my choice of shoes to my weight, despite us discussing these details from the start. She even went as far as calling me an ungrateful liar, refusing to take any responsibility for her mistakes. Her erratic behavior left me feeling cornered and manipulated. Oleksandra consistently rescheduled fittings at the very last minute, never once offering an apology. This pattern of delay felt intentional, as if she was purposely stalling to leave me with no time or alternative just before the wedding. It's hard not to feel that this tactic was used to corner me, forcing me to accept a dress I didn't want when I had no other options left. Oleksandra's Fashion Studio didn't just fail to deliver the dress I ordered--she delivered something that was poorly made and treated me with disrespect along the way. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. Your wedding dress should be a source of joy, not frustration and heartbreak. When it came to the issue of the money, Oleksandra refused to take responsibility for the dress she never delivered. Despite my polite requests for a refund, she became increasingly aggressive, giving me excuse after excuse. In one particularly wild phone call, she claimed she couldn't return the money because she had already spent it on "business expenses" and simply didn't have it anymore. She had no intention of making things right until I mentioned the possibility of filing a dispute with my bank. It was only after hearing the word "dispute" that she reluctantly agreed to a partial refund, further highlighting her lack of professionalism and accountability. From the first meeting, when there were less than six months until the wedding, almost four months passed before the final fitting, where everything escalated. With just over two months until my wedding, I was left without a dress. Now, seven months later, the issue is still ongoing with a dispute over the remaining refund. If you're a bride who values your time, your money, and your peace of mind--don't take the risk. You deserve so much better than what Oleksandra can offer.

I took a pattern to Oleksandra and presented an idea of what I wanted. She immediately sized me up and drew a similar version which was more to my liking. After measurements (which were spot on) she made this beautifully lined jacket for me. I had extra fabric left over so Oleksandra made an A-line skirt. Whenever I wear them ( jeans and jacket; skirt and blouse, or any combination, I get such compliments. I wish I could say I'll ever be as good a seamstress, but not in this lifetime! This women is magic at the machine. Fittings were always a pleasure, no hassle. Ill be back and I recommend you go to!

That made things even more critical as by the I received the new jacket I essentially had a 2-day turnaround. Amazingly, Steve was kind enough to include me in some select items he was doing on Monday, his normal day off. (I wouldn't expect him to do this for everyone.) Even then, he wasn't optimistic that the changes needed for my new jacket would be as effective as he would have liked to see. (It's not his skills but my...uniquely shaped torso, let's say. lol) Amazingly, not only did he complete the jacket and pants (which needed only minor work) in two days as promised, the jacket actually fit *perfectly* and I received many compliments at the function I wore it for.
