These people are criminals literally committing perjury and literally breaking the law!!! I'm in…read morethe process of pursuing criminal charges against them because they lied about serving me and my family which led to a default judgment being entered against me and my family. It seems like they have it set up where they purposely don't serve people (but claim they do) so the plaintiff is able to win by default. These people are straight shady and playing with the law and people's livelihood for a check. It won't be fun and games when they have to explain themselves in court for stealing summons. Everyone has the right to a fair trial and due process and they're robbing people of that 4th amendment right by failure of real service. They need to actually serve people, not just make up dates and times to suffice on paper. (Side tidbit we were able to get the judgement reversed so if they've lied about serving you and a default judgement was entered, request a motion to set aside based on the fact you were never served.) Put the opposing party on notice at least 20 days before the trail date. The legal time is 16 days but I'd go that extra step because it's better to play it safe, God bless.
