Many times we overlook things when they go right and this is one of them. To give you guys a little background, we started shopping for a new air conditioner and furnace when ours was still working (more like barely chugging along) but felt better to be ahead. Our a/c was the original Carrier unit that came with the house from 1976 and the furnace (Goodman) was about 3 years old (3 ton), with the a/c outside unit piecemeal with a fan that was replaced about 10 years earlier. Okay, it was some kind of Frankenstien unit but it worked every time and did not fail us, but it had a heavy energy appetite when it came to use. Our bill was huge! We researched eleven companies and Diamond (Anthony) was provider number four. We were impressed with how he did not try upselling us at all. Everyone was trying to say we needed a 5 ton and adding things we did not need like a smart thermostat (when we had one) . He was clear, concise, honest, & took pictures to illustrate his points when he went in the attic. He was game to work with us when it came to brands and communicated in a manner that had us all on the same page. If I had an inquiry, everyone always responded in a timely manner. Prices were also some of the fairest we found because we were not  I did not think Diamond could shine even more until the crew arrived. Seeing Will and Carl work together and speak with each other, well they are like a married couple. They troubleshoot and game plan the install. No one is trying to outshine anyone else and really work as a team. They know their stuff and it shows. We have a concrete tile roof and they even had a guy, Mike, who read the page provided by the tile company on how to walk on these tricky roofs and he did it without damaging anything.They are caring, considerate, and left us in awe. The bosses even come by to make sure things are moving along and getting anything the guys need, down to one dropping off lunch for the crew to keep momentum! The job never felt hurried, but kept at a steady pace. The furnace closet was insulated and it's a work of art. I even purchased a silver colored plug plate because you simply have to compliment good work. Teamwork is not a show, it really is how this company moves along. There are many companies and we went through some that really seemed good until there were errors on the estimates, things talked about that were missed entirely, important items not listed and I won't even count the guy that gave us an estimate and details related to a two-story house and ours is one story. Just not paying attention and that costs time and money. There was no confusion with Diamond! That helps me feel better and they go out and after every visit, they make sure to establish contact and address anything that yielded from that visit. Who does that? Diamond does. I wish they were more than HVAC guys because I know I am not going to find this dedication with the other stuff we need to get done with the house but at least a significant purchase went as it should! We highly recommend them for any and all HVAC services from installs to repairs because honesty matters and runs short in this industry. Good company overall, but communication has become a major issue. Anthony, the owner, is very difficult to reach--calls for estimates or appointments often go unanswered. They used to be very customer service-oriented, which set them apart, but it seems that success may have caught up with them. Unfortunately, they've become more like an average company now. That said, I want to acknowledge that Anthony recently reached out to make things right. He came to my home on a Sunday to talk through the issues and see how he could help. That's the Anthony I remember--the one who values customer service and goes above and beyond. He didn't have to come out on his day off, but I truly appreciated it. That gesture made a big difference and showed a level of care that stands out. I hope this message helps highlight both the concerns and the positive steps taken. I had a really great experience with Diamond Air Service. Huge shoutout to Howie, Anthony, Matt, and Sal--they were all extremely professional, friendly, and just genuinely good people. You can tell they take pride in their work and really care about their customers. They explained everything clearly, were respectful of my space, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The quality of their work was excellent, and I felt like I was in good hands the entire time. It's not always easy to find a team that's both skilled and humble, but they definitely are. The only minor thing I noticed was that there were a few small bits of trash left behind--nothing major at all, just little things here and there. This is my third year in a roll using Diamond Air to service my HVAC system since they replaced my system 4 years ago. Once you have scheduled an appointment, they will text you and keep you up to date of the appointment. Their technician is very professional, he wears booties before entering your house and keeps very clean. He explains his maintenance work of your system before he starts, then he will repeat what he has done after his work. Their maintenance work includes checking the cooling temperature, heating temperature, thermostat control, replace intake filter, clean drain line, clean condenser, check electrical connection, and check register air flow. Their technician (Mac) came out ASAP to fix our air conditioner which was out in the middle of July with temperatures approaching the 90s.
