However, the mechanics didn't seem genuine or thorough. There was a language barrier which made it hard to connect with them. Went here for an oil change and I had only requested that. But they saw that my dust covers for my shock absorbers were a bit torn and they informed me that I need to change my shock absorbers entirely. They assumed I was a clueless about my car. And I walked out saying no thanks but only did the oil change. Of course I went to my standard service center and they told me that the repair shop was trying to make a quick buck off me. Only the dust covers needed to be replaced and the shocks were perfectly fine. @diamond repair be honest, else you'll lose all your customers. I came in recently for a broken bolt repair in my brakes, and they took didn't take long at all! They let me take their customer car to go wherever I wanted while I waited for the repair and after about 40 minutes, I came back and my car was already ready to go! He turned around and blamed me for not bringing my car back in for warranty. Don't TRUST Him The question is would you go back to the same restaurant that served shitty food and poor customer service. They kept claiming they've solved the problems but after a month, their claims were complete bullshit. Took my car in for an oil change and a rattling noise when taking freeway onramps. The mechanic noticed my brakes were squeeking while parking my car, and this is a problem I've had since owning my car the past 6 years despite having numerous shops look at it and changing brake pads/rotors. They recommended ceramic break pads to reduce the sound. They also noticed that my tires had too much air in them when driving it, so they fixed that which was likely the cause for the rattling noise. My car runs better than ever now and no more squeaky breaks now! In addition to the professionalism and honesty from Tommy and the crew, Tina was nice enough to drop me off and pick me up down the road from the shop which made a huge difference. I started experiencing similar issues that I did 2 years ago with JUST 10K miles more, and as a bonus, a blinking CEL. Took it to the closest shop with the highest Yelp ratings, and can confirm they deserve 5 stars. I don't post many reviews, so when I do, it means something! Danny was fantastic - straight up no BS and didn't feel like I got hustled or feel like I questioned the repairs. Helpful, VERY knowledgable, and went above and beyond. And then I met Tammy! I brought my classic car for service here because of all the good reviews.I had VERY high hopes for this place and thought I found my new auto repair shop because the workers and staff are nice and seem to care.Boy was I wrong!! During a 2 day period where they kept my car for "maintenance".They toke parts out of the interior of my car and swapped out my new dual exhaust system for a older rusty exhaust system thinking I wouldn't know.Also put a huge dent in my gas tank on the bottom.I called them the next day after I noticed all of this and the worker I spoke with "Danny" got really offensive and immediately said "We do not steal here" "We are not criminals" "I don't know what happen to your exhaust system" "Maybe someone else take it!" REALLY!! Did they not think I wouldn't notice! Man I really really wanted this place to work. So I took my car to Diamonds auto repair because of 4 reasons. 1-The great reviews I seen on yelp 2- I live 5 minutes away. 3- They supposedly work with maintenance insurance 4- Me and my 3 roommates were looking for a good shop close by. My car has been making this knocking noise as I would come to a stop also the steering wheel would shake at high speeds. So I went in and dropped my car on a Monday afternoon close to their closing time and told the tech this: "Hello, could you please take a look at my car? My steering wheel vibrates at high speed and I hear a knocking noise when I come to a stop sometimes. I think it may be the transmission or something. The tires are two weeks old and they have been aligned and balanced. I also replaced the rotors a week ago and the brake pads are about a month old. Oh and by the way. I got maintenance insurance so if you find anything else wrong and the insurance covers it, feel free to do it" The last sentence was a big mistake, I left my car there for TWO days. NOBODY called me, I had to call them everyday to ask the status and they would say we are checking. It wasn't until Wednesday afternoon I got a call saying, your rear struts need to be replaced, we called the insurance company and they don't cover it and they quoted me $600. So I got fed up and I picked it up THURSDAY in the morning as I needed it for work. So for two days I was without a car, received no calls or information, I had to call the shop myself. And they probably didn't even check the transmission or front of the car as asked. Waste of time. Oh its nice to mention too that Thursday I was there at 8:00 AM to pick up my car as I needed to go to work immediately and the nobody showed up until 8:15. Do not go to this place. They just lost 4 potential customers, me and my roommates really hoped this place would work. read more

Tommy and his guys do great work. They were able to fix an A/C problem in our 2001 Passat that even the dealership couldn't fix. They also took care of some pesky warning lights on the dash. Found someone who could fix the electronic control unit. Saved us some cash from having to buy a new one from VW. read more
