I recently contracted Diamond Bridge for a major structural upgrade to my home. Nestled in a heavily sloped crawl space, I needed multiple posts added and a new ledger. Given the location, this involved tons of digging, cement mixing, and wood hauling by hand. Diamond builders is a great company. They replaced a 20 year old roof for a fair price. My brother sent them to replace our roof so it would be ready for the rainy season. They did a great job always on time and very precise on their work. They even put gutters in around the house to prevent wood rot. We have a leaking lightwell issue for the past decade. Everytime when there was strong wind and heavy rain, water leaks through the lightwell and into our garage. We finally decided to have this repair. We spoke to roofer who deferred the project to plumbers and plumbers deferred it back to roofers. We ended up submitting a project request here on yelp and what's when all the positive things take place. Isai with DBB was the first one to respond. He came to our place and did a thorough assessment. He was very patient and courteous. He listened to our concern and let us know what the work entails. We interviewed a few other contractors and we ended up decided to hire DBB on this project. The quote they gave us was the most reasonable. The contract and estimate were all done in writing. Isai and his assistant were excellent in communicating with us and allowing us to ask questions and make adjustment in the process. The actual work was also top quality. They remove med all the defective parts of our lightwell and identified the source of the leak. It turns out it was an old metal sheet that was deteriorated over the years. Isai and his crew replaced the defective part and added multi layers of water proofing and flashing. Work is still in progress at this moment. I am confident that Isai and his team's workmanship will resolve this 10year old problem for us. read more

The communication they provide is very good. We had a pretty tight deadline to do the inside of the home, and were hoping to get the new roof done as well before we moved in. Isai and his team got all the work done on time and passed city inspections! The inside work included removing the popcorn ceilings throughout the home, patching and prepping the ceilings for paint. Paint throughout the inside of the home, new flooring, removing fluorescent lights in the kitchen, patching the ceiling and adding pot lights, replacing the vanities and lighting in the two bathrooms, fixing a damaged section of the original wood floors and the new roof. There were some problems in the time it took to get my cutting board. It wasn't Diamond Builders fault, but what was a problem was that the communication about it all, wasn't clear. I thought they were putting me off, because it was taking so long, but it turns out, the company they were ordering the wood from, was the problem. If I had known that, I wouldn't have been frustrated and anxious about if and when I was going to the boards. They did bring me two beautiful, well crafted cutting boards, and apologized a lot for the trouble in getting this to happen.
