We recently had our kitchen redone in Dublin and couldn't be happier with the results. The process was smooth, and the team was great to work with--very friendly Our project Manager was David he was wonderful was responsive and helped us a lot with creating the open space kitchen layout that we had in our mind Our kitchen feels fantastic the outcome is fantastic we love spending time in our kitchen it's feel a part of a big open Space and we love it David and crew totally deserve a recommendation Highly recommend if you're thinking of remodeling!

Small bathroom project but a big life changing for us We have been waiting to remodel our master bathroom a while and finally it's done and our dream come through We are happy our choice to choosing S&i to be our contractor The result is amazing and the processs was a great experience David was helping us with his recommendations about the finish material we was able to purchase them with a contractor discount when we use S&i membership number the crew was amezing they was quite and clean and every day in the end of the day they make sure to leave the site organized as possible the permit process was easier than we thought S&i run all the process and we just paid the fee for the permit lol we are thankful for everyone how was involved in our project

Gap in shower door frame, meaning water would easily leak through. Had to ask repeatedly to fix.

Edit: Long review - see attached pics for a quick look at their work. Some of these issues have been fixed after repeated requests, and some are still present even after "completion" of the project. S&I started renovating our bathroom in May of 2021. It was supposed to take 2-3 weeks... but actually took 7 due to damaged materials and shoddy work. Our project manager is super nice and easy to work with (he's actually the reason why decided to go with S&I in the first place), but was mostly absent after demo was completed and generally showed up to collect a check or when I asked him to come by and look at the progress. The foreman works long hours but does super sloppy work with no one doing quality control but us. I'm a pretty easy going person and don't complain often, but some of this work is straight up embarrassing. For example, shortly after installing our new vanity, water started leaking through the back and down the wall onto the floor. The next day the foreman told me he fixed it, but what he didn't tell me was he broke open a huge hole in the back of the vanity into the wall and just left it there (see attached picture). He wasn't going to fix it until I found it and pointed it out. His exact words were "Oh, did you want me to fix that?" Yes. Yes I do. He ended up covering it up with some cheap plywood - it still looks pretty bad. There were many, MANY issues like this where we had to point something out that was very clearly poorly done before they took the time to fix it, such as: messy un-sanded drywall, poor painting that was already peeling, sealed tiles without first removing paint and pencil on them, uneven tile, fixtures already falling off of the wall, and just general cutting of corners. On one occasion, a large amount of water was left on the floor overnight, which eventually spilled down into the open toilet hole and damaged the neighbor's unit below us. It's stuff like this that is completely avoidable, but no care or consideration was taken. Next is the issue of cleanliness. Look, I know when you're doing any kind of renovation there's going to be some mess - I expected that. But this was on a whole different level; our entire home (even the bedroom) eventually got covered in dust and dirt. Not only did the crew not attempt to block off or cover anything in plastic, they did *not* clean up after themselves each day and it made it hard to even be there. We eventually spent $300 on a deep clean to get rid of all of the dust covering everything even though renovation still hadn't finished. On top of the dust and other mess, the foreman always left fruit and clothes (like pants, shirts, and even shoes) in our home each day. I don't even understand why he was taking off his clothes in our house in the first place, and all of the fruit that was left eventually attracted fruit flies. Finally, the biggest reason why we chose S&I is because the project manager said he would physically go shopping with us to choose our materials, which sounded great considering my wife and I have never done a renovation before and were nervous about shopping by ourselves. Although the project manager was very friendly and helpful while at the store, this didn't turn out to be a great experience either - the shower door we bought with him didn't fit even though he measured our bathroom beforehand, and then couldn't be returned to the store because the packaging got all ripped up when it was opened by the contractors. We also ended up with 6 boxes of extra tile. I know it's good practice to have a little extra just in case, but 6 full extra boxes was a waste of my money and could have been avoided by actually measuring the square footage instead of guessing. After some back & forth, S&I did agree to cover the cost of the shower door - and while this was appreciated, we shouldn't have had to spend time and energy arguing for something that should just be obvious since it wasn't our fault. The project manager did also return the extra tile for me, which I am grateful for, but again I had to specifically bring this up and it just seems like this shouldn't have been necessary in the first place. In the end, what really made me upset is that when our project manager wasn't available, we got in contact with the owner and she didn't really seem to care much either. She did buy us a new part that was needed (which again, we appreciated and said as much), but instead of being apologetic and wanting to make sure everything was right, she just seemed annoyed and even angry at us for pointing things that were broken or done poorly and needed to be redone. It seemed clear that our bathroom project was not a priority for this company and they were eager to just be done with it, regardless of the quality of the work. ANYWAY I know this was a bit of a rant but short story, don't hire these guys. They had great reviews online so I trusted them inherently, and I regret it big time.

We recently remodel our living area and kitchen, it was a big project, we worked with Josh and he was amazing and worked with us to find the perfect design for our remodel he was knowledgeable and energetic kept us informed all throughout. Having people over during a pandemic wasn't easy, but Pato his crew, Giovanny, Juan and many others spent weeks at our home working tirelessly, they were all amazing, respectful and their work is impeccable. They are professional and talented. They took time to make sure everything was perfect. We are delighted with the results and can't wait to work with them again. If you are thinking about calling, don't hesitate!

S&I finished my creepy storage room and turned it into the office of my dreams! The price was fair, they got it done in the quoted amount of time and it exceeded my expectations. Josh, Henry and crew were fantastic to work with. They listened to all of my ideas and requests and worked with me to get the best results. They were courteous, clean and safe. I highly recommend them!

After receiving quotes from three construction companies, I hired S&I to have two bathrooms and a kitchen completely gutted and remodeled. Raz Frenkel was my project manager, and I really enjoyed working with him. The work was completed before schedule, and every time there was an issue (nothing major), while I had a tendency to freak out a bit, Raz was always very reassuring by promptly communicating with me and always showed up to solve the problem on the same day or the following morning. I would recommend Raz and S&I to others, and I would use them again for future projects myself. I'm attaching a few pictures of how everything turned out for those interested in taking a quick look. It was a pleasure working with you, Raz!

Shout out to Raz. We finished our house mid May 2020, last week ( Nov) we had some problems and Raz sent 2 people to fix it without any cost!! If you are renovating or building, Raz is the man. He is very responsive, on time and on budget. Highly recommended. Thanks again Raz.

I want to thank Joel from S&I Construction for doing an exceptional job managing my small kitchen remodel(countertop, herringbone backsplash and sink/faucet). Joel was extremely responsive and always had a solution for any obstacles or challenges during the project. I appreciate the after 8pm calls to talk through the layout. The countertop and backsplash installers did an exceptional job as well. The herringbone has received so many compliments from family and friends. I highly recommend Joel from S&I Construction if you are looking for competent and quality work at a reasonable price!

Raz and his crew did a nice job replacing the tile on our two fireplaces. Raz's attention to detail and stress on doing quality work was followed up by his crew, particularly the tile setter who did an amazing job setting some difficult tile shapes into nice even rows. His crew worked long hours to get the job done and impressed me with their dedication to get the job done right.

We had our bathroom remodeled and Raz was our contractor / project manager. I loved the work, highly recommend Raz if you want to get your work done before time. I had an estimate of two weeks and he did it in less than 10 Days . We are so glad to find S and I constructions. Very professional work, we barely had to deal with anything. It would usually be a phone conversation to tell him what we want and it would be taken care of. He even took us to shop for bathroom tiles and floorings at a reasonable place and gave really good recommendations. Highly recommend this company and Raz.

Having never done this before, I got about 3 different quotations, and eventually I settled on Remodeling Heroes as they had a decent track record and an acceptable price (for my bathroom remodel, this was in the low 30ks) Once settled, things started to get hairy. I had to navigate fairly onerous HOA requirements like FIIC for flooring (field impact insulation class for noise transmittance) and strict schedules for when workers were allowed to do demo work on the existing bathroom. I was able to work with Om (project manager) and Walter (foreman) to negotiate with the HOA and complete the demo within a day, after which came the longer process of slowly adding the required finishes. Finishes are probably what are most overlooked. I was able to get most of my finishes from East Star Building supply - which includes the tiles used. I opted for large ones for both the shower and the floor to reduce grout and thus the amount of cleaning needed. I also opted for a frameless shower with brass / brushed furnishes to keep maintenance low. Measurements were also complicated - I had to make sure everything would fit, and worked closely with Om and Walter to make sure it would work with the limited space available. I highly recommend working all these out long before demo and construction starts as it can be a very involved process. Eventually everything was neatly and installed and to spec, and inspection by the city was passed. There were complications with the HOA regarding onerous foam requirements for the baseboard but I was able to acquire the necessary form off Amazon so that was settled nicely. The only really hiccup came with the installation of the toilet, where there was some carelessness that led to water leaking to the unit below but fortunately we were able to get that sorted out. Overall it was a fairly stressful experience, but eventually the job was completed in a fairly tight timeline even with the struggles in satisfying the HOA. I have been quite pleased with the finished result, which is well done and so far has not shown any signs of water leaks. I love my new bathroom and am very happy with the result!

I have to tell you: after seeing how they work and everything they did, I wouldn't trust anyone that says it can be done in a couple weeks. There's just no way!! Just tiling took one week! But you have to see how perfect those tiles are! Not also did they finish the job on schedule, they also cleaned after themselves every single evening. All his crew was here on time every morning, worked quietly and politely and left leaving everything tidy. You know how sometimes you see the contractor you hired the first day and he never shows up again? Not Piotr. Background: I live in a duplex with shared attic space; it was originally a single family residence with just one attic door. I wanted access to the attic without hassling my neighbors/tenants. Ace not only created a fantastically-functional attic opening, she also took the time and care to make it look beautiful (i.e. like it was part of the original house with decorative trim and multiple coats of paint). But the BEST PART is the care she took to protect my home and and that she left me with no clean-up chores. I've had so much work done on this home and previous homes (small jobs to remodels and major construction). And this is the first time that I've had this experience--of not cursing like a sailor at the dust or grime all over my stuff. Ace did a superb job of containing the dust when she had to drill and cut into the ceiling. I forgot what it's called, but she basically created a tent in the area where she needed to work. There was no drywall dust or sawdust in my storage room or near my laundry area. Bless her!!! She also helped me identify the source of some cracks in my ceiling. The Great (+2 stars) ==========…read more * The structural work: Our home is on a great, new, solid foundation (with shear walls), so we feel as safe as we can be in our home for an earthquake! * Our basement is also now more usable. * Drainage: There is now drainage around the foundation and under the basement slab, so we are no longer worried about our basement flooding! * The working crew were very friendly and considerate. The Bad (-1 star): ========== * The electrical subcontractor was quite bad. The electricians didn't install the dryer outlet properly (one conductor came loose before I first used it), most outlets they installed are loose (they give when pushing in a plug), and they installed a used, old (not LED compatible) dimmer for the LED lights they installed. Also, the owner yelled at his team a lot. * The plumbing subcontractor was bad, too. They misdrilled several holes, damaging the interior of the home. They didn't seal around exterior penetrations into the house. They didn't put a cover over the branch of a wye that was no longer needed. They wouldn't do anything about the loss of hot water pressure in a bathroom faucet that occurred after they moved some plumbing around (I ended up having to disconnect and disassemble the hot water valve myself and I found a piece of silicone clogged in there). They over-glued the drain of the laundry supply box making it nearly impossible to remove the cap, and they lost the o-rings on my faucet aerator. The Ugly (-2 stars): ========== * They overlooked details in the plans about where walls and doors should go, and denied responsibility since they weren't in the structural engineer's plans, which they opted to not have updated with the revisions I told them about. This lead to a sewer pipe being installed in an inconvenient location (it went through the foundation, so it can't be moved), a structural wall that was almost built in the wrong place (I caught it while they were digging the footing), and a room that was built with no doorway (they had to cut some framing to make the opening). * The pricing/scope was negligent at best, but I'd put it closer to misleading or deceptive. During the initial visits, they talked about all the things they would do (including putting up framing, drywall, and insulation), and then sent over an estimate that I accepted. I didn't realize until halfway through the project that the estimate didn't include many of the things they talked about (including the framing, drywall, and insulation); those apparently would be part of "Phase 2," not included in the price of the first estimate. I had chosen E&F over another estimate that was less expensive even though it did explicitly contain the "additional" scope. I was also surprised that the electrical and plumbing (most of which was necessary to get them out of the way for the structural work) was billed separately; i.e., an unexpected additional expense. * They chose to rebuild a segment of stairs (rather than just adding two steps at the bottom, per the plans), which ended up having insufficient clearance with an overhang halfway down. They tried to convince me there was no new problem because they built them the same as before (but the run of the new stairs was one inch longer, causing the 4th step down to be 4 inches closer to the overhang) and resisted remedying the issue. They just ended up taking a sawzall to trim the overhang -- a joist -- which I just have to hope doesn't compromise any structural integrity! Further, they didn't even finish the stairs (sand and seal); "Test your staining skills," they said. * They ghosted before Phase 2. As the structural work was reaching completion, we were going back and forth on scope for Phase 2. However, when the structural work was actually completed, they just stopped communicating, left dirt and demo debris they left on our driveway for a month, then disappeared. There were lots of things they removed to get out of the way (like several segments of fence) but didn't put back. I could easily add 3x more issues and details, but this review is already too long.

Designers were brought in to prepare plans and permits, and the work began. Our project manager, Adi, was one of the kindest, most attentive people I've ever worked with. He stayed in constant contact, visited the site frequently, and ensured every detail met extremely high standards. It became a running joke between us about changing their slogan to "quality you can afford"--he humored me, and it perfectly captures the team's approach. The craftsmanship from Flavio, the lead contractor, was exceptional. We didn't pick the easiest designs, but the finished primary bathroom shower tile is genuinely a work of art--everyone who sees it comments on it. We also can't forget "Muscle Memo", who handled all the heavy lifting--climbing through dusty attics, crawling under grimy crawl spaces, and tackling the toughest physical work. His effort made the project run smoothly and safely. Adding to the charm, the team brought their own portable bathroom, which hilariously became a little local attraction--neighbors and passersby would sometimes "need to go," and we all shared a laugh over it. LB went above and beyond by addressing problem areas that weren't part of the original scope, with no extra charge, just to ensure the house looked perfect. They even brought in a professional cleaning crew, leaving our home cleaner than when the project started--a rare and deeply appreciated touch. We are thrilled with the entire LB team and highly recommend them. They hit that sweet spot: exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful problem-solving, genuine care, a sense of humor, and high quality at a price we could afford. Truly impressive from start to finish.

The quality of the work was incredibly high especially given how affordable their estimate was for a whole kitchen remodel. We are already talking to them about our next project. And they're all super nice guys, some of the most pleasant I've ever worked with. Oh and listen to them when they make suggestions - the one time I didn't, I wished I had afterward. Their idea would have been better!

From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and easy to work with. They took the time to explain the process, helped me select the right materials, and kept me informed throughout the project. The installation was completed on schedule, and the workmanship is outstanding -- the countertop looks beautiful, and the dishwasher was installed with care and precision. The crew was respectful of my home, kept the workspace clean, and made sure everything was working perfectly before they left. It's rare to find a company that delivers both great customer service and high-quality craftsmanship, but Pablo's General Remodeling truly exceeded expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for kitchen upgrades or appliance installation.
