I checked it because my wife was sneezing like crazy Every time she got in the Audi. Filter was absolutely dirty with some kind of nut shells black dirt. Third thing I found was a Dirty engine air filter. I mean as soon as I took it off, DIRT just started falling off it!! And the final thing So Far, we're the spark plugs. They say , and are proud of the fact that they do a 150 point Inspection! Well? If you're going to do an inspection you need to Open your Eyes to see. You need to Actually INSPECT and Not pencilwhip the paperwork. Finally, YOU need to have the Discrepancies FIXED! Finally, I would recommend to anyone looking for a vehicle here to get a mechanic to go with you if you can. Better yet tell the salesman you need more than 20 minutes for the test drive to have a mechanic or a person that KNOWS cars to look at the vehicle because I an NOT at all impressed with carmax's 150 point inspectors!

The next week we returned with completed paperwork, sat for 1 1/2 hrs for a quote thousands of dollars under Kelley Blue Book. 1) the above time and $ spent to accomplish their directives was unnecessary IF they'd looked at the vehicle the first day and determined it pointless to proceed, even it wasn't a specific number, 2) on returning the second day, AGAIN, the wait was not necessary for the same reason. To the elderly, I would suggest taking your business elsewhere. CARMAX will lead to undue stress.

It was hard enough just thinking of trading my Jeep in for sentimental reasons (tears). 1st stop was a used car lot in Barstow, and we were treated really cool by a young man by the name of Moe. Unfortunately, he didn't have a hefty selection to choose from. Shook hands and off we went to spot no. 2 in Victorville- CarXchange. We were greeted courteously enough by a fellow whose name befalls me at the moment. He started off showing us a few vehicles and we test drove one that we were going to possibly sign off on; but we changed our mind & decided we needed more space. After letting him know we wanted to check out another car or two- Mr. NoName went completely cold on us. His initial courteous & professional manner took a left turn and never got right. Off we trekked to Palmdale for the Auto mall, noticed Apple Valley Nissan. I'm so very thankful that "third time's a charm" is true sometimes, because we met a real cool group of folks there, starting with Sebastian! Very polite and consultative in his sales approach- but most importantly he was extremely patient with us. Car buying can be stressful. You want to gain all the information you can to make a wise purchasing decision. Sebastian was thorough with information about each vehicle we were interested in- yet although he detailed lots of great points he didn't overstate his purpose. He seemed to have genuinely cared about getting us into a safe and reliable vehicle. Long story longer... The vehicle we ultimately chose was priced quite a bit higher than our original budget idea. I don't think anyone else could've talked us into going with the deal we made. However, his mannerism, professionalism, and once again- his patience is what we bought into. Other VERY honorable mention(s): Jackie (Sales Mgr I believe), who ultimately made the deal happen after quite a bit of back and forth. She smoothed it all out as well as she could on our behalf, and with a smile. Jennifer and Carlos (I think Carlos was his name), got us through the lot of paperwork associated with a car purchase. Both courteous, and cool too. All that said, I recommend popping on over to AVN. Go on & check them out if you're seriously considering getting a new/ used certified ride. ***Thanks again to the team! Your assistance was much appreciated!!

On Tuesday Aug 4th I got my vehicle serviced with oil change and tire rotation, they also did point inspection on my vehicle. After my inspection they recommended brake pads replacement. I called palmdale nissan dealership and spoke with Tony the manager whom did apologize, however the apologies didn't make me feel better nor did he suggest a refund on the tire rotation of $20. They told me because of my credit no one else would finance me and pressured into the sale. I was reluctant to sign the paperwork because they were charging me as if they car was brand new. After about a few days the car start shaking horribly and I felt ripped off the interior was all damaged and stuff missing inside the car but he assured me it ran well. Now within 3 days of my purchase I tried to cancel and return the vehicle but they would not return my money and only would trade me for another vehicle after a week of chasing them down. They would not show to their business after they sold me the car and one day I finally caught them there. They would only trade me a car as I mentioned and the second car was even worse the engine light, as well as other lights all came on the 3rd day but after I received that car. Again they would not show to their business or answer my calls. I got an estimate for the car that showed the transmission and motor were in bad condition and car needed about $3000 worth of repairs. I could not get ahold of them to return the car nor would they let me so I do not pay their excessive fees and they came and got the car. They then made up inflated charges to the tune of my whole down payment which is all the car is worth ($2000) and have the car and my money. By the way they change their business name often and move places of business as they are formerly known as Big Family Motors with horrible reviews. I offered to pay for the 2 months of car note I used it but the remainder should be returned to me. The car they sold me, that lovely piece of crap white 2013 Toyota Corolla in their ad photos. I wonder how many times they have sold it and took it back. They belong in jail.

I remember when things were very different. Customers were offered a shuttle ride home, fresh coffee and donuts while waiting, and even a complimentary car wash. Those were the good old days when customer service truly felt like a priority. It's unfortunate to see how much this dealership has changed in just a few short years. The level of service and customer care has declined significantly, and it's disappointing to feel that loyal customers are no longer treated with the same respect and appreciation. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to restore the level of customer service that customers once experienced and deserved.

We purchased a certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicle on August 19, 2026. While we love the vehicle and…read moreplan to keep it, our experience with this dealership has been overwhelmingly dishonest and predatory. We originally found the vehicle through Capital One Auto Navigator, where we were pre-approved, and submitted an inquiry. A salesperson named Nick called us shortly after. Because the dealership was far away, they emailed us a finance application. We explicitly informed them of our Capital One pre-approval and provided the pre-approval reference number. Later, finance manager Abier called to inform us that our monthly payment would be $400 higher than the Capital One Auto Navigator quote--even with our $8,500 down payment on a $30,557 vehicle, which should have reduced our financed balance to roughly $22,000. Abier claimed he could "buy down" the interest rate and lower the monthly payment if we added an extended warranty, a maintenance plan, and GAP insurance. He also claimed he could apply an additional discount using our Costco membership number through the Costco Auto Program. When the contract was sent via e-sign, we discovered that the dealership completely bypassed our pre-approved lender. Instead, they raised our APR by 1%, packed over $12,000 in add-ons into the deal, and inflated our financed amount to $39,000 after our $8,500 down payment--far exceeding the vehicle's actual value and adding over $200 per month to our payment. To cover their tracks, dealership staff conducted all communications via personal cell phones rather than recorded dealership lines. Upon carefully reviewing the final paperwork, the fine print explicitly states that all add-ons are optional and have no bearing on loan approval, interest rates, or financing terms. Everything we were told about needing these products to lower our APR was a complete lie used to inflate their commissions. Additionally, despite CPO regulations requiring two key fobs--and allowing missing keys to be made at any brand dealership at their expense--they provided only one key and insisted we drive over 100 miles round-trip to their location to get a second one. When we called to speak with General Manager Rick Walker or General Sales Manager Robert Osorio, we received a relentless runaround: The first representative claimed both managers no longer worked there and that the dealership currently had no General Manager. A second representative claimed Rick Walker was simply out, transferring us to an unidentifiable, full voicemail inbox. Seconds later, Abier called us back directly, demanded to know why we were looking for Rick Walker, claimed again that Rick no longer worked there, and insisted he was handling all matters himself. This dealership's sales and finance teams are engaging in illegal payment packing and tied-selling, which are direct violations of the California Legal Remedies Act (CLRA). We are submitting our timestamped screenshots, call logs, and text records to the DMV Investigations Division, the California DMV Autodealer Licensing Board, the California Attorney General's Consumer Protection Unit, the FTC, the CFPB, Costco Auto Program Corporate, and Hyundai Motor America. Buyers beware: save yourself the stress and financial harm, and take your business elsewhere.

After traveling 88 miles, my 6 year old son and I arrived at the car lot around 1 PM and were there until about 7:30 PM, in the heat. Amber was great over the phone, and Gustavo, the manager, was amazing. Amber offered to help get us home if things didn't work out, and Gustavo approved it. After Gustavo left early and Ricardo "Al" stepped up as manager, the entire atmosphere changed. Al aggressively told me, "WE ARE NOT GETTING YOU HOME." He then criticized Amber, saying she hadn't physically been there for two weeks because she was working remotely and questioning why she offered something "they don't do." At that point, I genuinely felt like I was being provoked and antagonized, even though I continued trying to remain calm -- in front of my son. Al also used the N-word three times during conversations with me and spent time telling me about being from the "40s hood as a gang member," being shot in Fontana, foster care, and having a Black foster mother. None of this was relevant to purchasing a vehicle, and it was extremely unprofessional. Saying his face is recognized in LA reason he does not do internet videos for the car lot. Like ok, I just want a car sir... Thankfully, Gustavo ultimately made sure my son and I got home with NO problem, exactly as he had approved. I sincerely appreciate him for that. I came there ready to buy a vehicle, not to argue or be disrespected after spending 6 1/2 hours trying to make a deal work. Al needs to humble himself and remember that how you treat people matters -- especially when you've been trusted to step into a management position. Gustavo and Amber, thank you for treating me like a human being. I wish the rest of my experience had reflected the same professionalism.
