She was so sweet, open and communicative during the entire process. Thanks to her, I felt absolutely confident in my wedding dress on the big day. I took my uniform top in to have a patch removed and a new one sewn on (for a uniform inspection)…read more I figured that they would do a good job since they were welcoming. However when I took my top out to touch up with an iron, I was upset to see that my uniform was snagged and there were holes. When I called to talk to someone about it, I was given the excuse that the new patch was shorter than the old one and whoever did it before left holes where the corners of the original patch were. One this was a top that I just got last year and that was the first patch (a rocker) that had been on it since I wore it at my last command. Instead of offering to compensate me for the damages, I was given too many excuses and that they "tried" to cover it. What really happened is that they were careless in removing the patch - I've taken them off myself before and it's obvious the material is delicate so if you're not careful, this is what happens. Needless to say, I have to get a new uniform top (can't get it locally because its not sold here) before next Friday for another inspection and have not one, but three patches sewn on (so thats a new top and two new patches I have to buy since the patch they sewed on was an organizational one and furnished by the command). If they had at least offered to refund the money I paid for the patch, it would have been a nice gesture as it show they were acknowledging their mistake. All I know is I will be using another tailor and dry cleaners for future business.

The driver…read moreof the van was illegally driving across the parking lot of the Spotsylvania Town Center rather than following the lanes. The van turned only feet in front of me into the lane I was driving down to find a parking spot. Immediately after blocking the lane, the van stopped. I could not pass and their were no open spots where I was stuck at. After nearly a minute of sitting still, I honked at the van, which then parked only one spot further than it was stopped at the spot had been empty the whole time, the driver was not waiting for anyone to move. I attempted to address the illegality and rudeness of his actions, but the only thing the diver said was an angry "I don't care." I sincerely hope the other employees to not share this attitude. I called the company to let them know about their driver's behavior. I was instructed to call back in two hours.

They have done alterations, hems, zipper fixes and replacements, shoe service, comforters, wedding and formal dresses, bridal gown and much more. We really like their husband and wife team and they take excellent care of us! I referred them to a co-worker of mine and he agreed, best price in town and great service. In all of these years I recall maybe one issue, that they actually brought to our attention and fixed it immediately (at no charge). Service like theirs deserves our loyalty and we are happy to be loyal to them. We are very happy to support them and their small business.
