[[HIGHLIGHT]]They have pleasant a few iron wrought- tables on front & very dark bar insides place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They use too few servers buy we went lunch at fast. This is my new favorite local restaurant and here is why: The food is simple ingredients and hearty. We ordered the Caesar and the surf and turf and there was a hefty quantity and bounty of flavor. The service is chill, it's an unpretentious spot where it's easy to be with kids, gramma, or a date. Anything goes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The location is stellar and the cabin wood grain feel is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Get the brownie for dessert. You won't regret it.

Spring is here! And so is lunch at Leftcraft where I had an amazing ribs feast with cornbread and Mac salad. One of the best cuts of ribs I have ever had and I used to live in Texas! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great service and it felt great eating and also enjoying the amazing Edmonds spring weather.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Stopped in for a beer and a snack and this place hit the spot. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Perfect on a beautiful day in the heart of downtown Edmonds- the doors are open and it's bright and airy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The open tables are nice and we were open to sharing since we were only 2 at a large outdoor prime spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Dogs are welcome outside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is very casual, the tables are sticky and the bathrooms are clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll def come back to try more things on the menu. For today, the casual vibe and chill service was exactly what I was looking for.

Stopped here for lunch on a Tuesday around noon. I had the kimchi bowl and it was delicious. Tasted each element before mixing all together and everything was really tasty. My cousin had the pork belly sandwich and my mom had the surf and turf bowl. The whole table was very happy with our food and the service. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside decor was a little cold/boring[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] but we would definitely go back to try more on the menu.

The food was really good! Not that bad of price for the area. I got the Mediterranean bowl and a side of potato salad which was around thirty dollars after tip. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside was super cool and modern with a slick looking bar, everything was very open.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was good the waiter was nice and funny, the food did take a bit but it was definitely worth it, I would go again.

Spicy black bean burger, side Caesar salad- both really delicious!

Went in craving a good garden burger & had a great experience. Nice young server inside was willing to hold the only outdoor patio table left for 5 minutes while I ran inside to use their restroom & go get my dog from the car. (Wanted to make sure pups were ok outside & they are!) Major bonus! I had the spicy black bean burger, and it was absolutely delicious!! Personally I don't care for the impossible burger (visually it grosses me out!) and this garden burger was perfect! It had sautéed onions and some pickled veggies on it- avocado was so good as was the cheese, and a delicious brioche bun too. Washed it down with a perfectly made Arnold Palmer with a nice wedge of lemon in it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall, a perfect Sunday lunch spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll go back for sure & think these guys deserve a much better rating than what's currently showing. (I went back another time and had another solid experience & got a pic of my spicy black bean burger) :)

When we ordered take out, it was very disappointing. We ordered the Reuben sandwich and when we got home, it was such a disappointment. Whoever made it -didn't even try. It was dry and burnt. All we could taste was bitterness. No presentation, lacked overall care. Never again! We couldn't even eat it. What's worse, it was almost a $30. Sandwich.

I liked this place! The ambiance and food are fun and there's a lot of interesting and fun combinations to try. I am giving 3 stars because the service was a little slow and I seemed rushed, but the server himself was very knowledgeable of the drinks. I'll have to give it a try when there's no rush sometimes, but I feel like it'll be popular for a long time since it's on Main Street and it is a cool place overall.

I'd like to give Leftcraft another half star than 3; their 3.5 average is right on, but not because they're mediocre. It's because they have nailed some things and failed badly at others. Our takeout order food was wildly hit or miss. The Leftcraft salad included fresh mixed greens, good quality avocado, an interesting grapefruit salsa-like "dressing"...and the most overcooked salmon I've ever had in my life. It had the texture of rubber. The salad also came with two perfectly grilled shrimp! So it was a real head-scratcher as to why the kitchen would think that salmon could be sent out. The beef kimchi bowl also had fresh ingredients, and the sirloin was reasonably tender but sorely lacked flavor! The romaine lettuce in the Caesar salad was browned. And the cornbread was absolutely delicious. While we did not dine-in, we saw the interior at pickup, and it is beautiful, stylish, and inviting. We would love to go back for a drink and spend time there, but not sure if we will give their food another try after this rocky experience.

Came here for an office dinner party. To start The environment was great! Loved how the lighting was dim felt relaxing! Servers were very friendly and attentive. We all enjoyed our meals! I got the Kimchi Beef bowl the flavors were amazing the meat was tender. I would order this meal again and would love to try other items maybe their pizza next.

This is more than just a brewery. Leftcraft is such a modern space and in such a cute downtown area of Edmonds. The interior is industrial and has really beautiful woodwork and their bar is HUGE. We were seated in the back in a cozy little nook. I tried a few sours and both were delicious. They have a lot of different beers, ciders, kombucha and other drinks on their menu. The food menu is accommodating to vegetarians and vegans alike. I'm still having dreams about the pretzel knots. I ordered their tofu bowl which had brown rice, tofu that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, *delicious* pickled vegetables and mushrooms. The chojang sauce on top was spicy and sweet. The service was spot on and overall we had such a lovely time here on our last night in Seattle. Edmonds is a cute little town and this place is a gem right in the middle of it!

Even without a reservation, the hostess seated us right away. We chose to dine on the patio, which was absolutely perfect on a beautiful sunny day. Our wonderful waitress started us off with a crisp house Chardonnay (highly recommend!), followed by our appetizers. We ordered the burrata, the beet salad, and added the bread service and every bite was fantastic. For our entrées, I had the scallops while my partner ordered the steak salad. The food was exceptional. Every dish featured fresh, high-quality ingredients, was beautifully presented, and had perfectly balanced flavors. It was the kind of meal that felt both elegant and fresh, with no complaints whatsoever. Our waitress was attentive throughout the meal and made excellent recommendations that elevated the experience even more. From the welcoming service to the outstanding food and beautiful patio, everything exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Street parking only, but if you're open to a walk, downtown Edmonds tends to have ample parking around the area. When busy, they do provide a buzzer that has a short range, but opens up the opportunity of walking around slightly. Items can be a bit pricey, but they're also very filling. Large space, lots of chatter, and friendly service. Number Three Combo Club - we wanted waffles this time but also bacon and sausage. This was the variety pack we desired, though wish it came with both sausage and bacon! Opted for the bacon and it was thick, fatty, and delicious. One waffle cut into the four quadrants, ready to soak up syrup. Simple, but a classic. Chunky Monkey Pancakes - goofy perhaps, but another timeless classic combo of chocolate and bananas. Three chocolate chip pancakes, fluffy and ready to absorb the Nutella drizzle. Could have a few more chocolate chips embedded for a more balanced spread, but the chocolate drizzle helps spread flavor. Bananas for the healthy balance of course.

Hot Dogs in Cars, and Managers Named "Robert" : A Hate Story…read more I have been a regular patron of The Rusty Pelican since I moved to Washington, just shy of 5 years ago. I take visiting loved ones and friends here, and I constantly extol the service and food to anyone who needs a recommendation for a breakfast spot in Edmonds. NEVER. EVER. AGAIN. The manager, Robert, showed sickening behavior. My partner and I were having breakfast out in front, when we noticed that a fellow patron had left their dog in the car on the sidewalk in front of our table. It was 60 degrees out, and completely sunny. The windows were barely cracked, and the dog was panting and straining its neck towards the venting of the window. We called our waiter over, who was incredibly sympathetic and horrified. He went inside to find the customer. We waited a few minutes longer, and then asked a second server to follow up (they were equally horrified and sympathetic). The second server also did not return. My partner went inside to seek help. It was at this point that they encountered Robert. My partner came out a few minutes later and explained what was happening: he had been in the process of denigrating the employees feelings about the matter, telling them to stop bothering customers and (essentially) quit acting like babies. "This isn't Arizona!" he exclaimed. When my partner asked to speak with him and tell him the situation, he was horrendously rude and confrontational, escalating each polite rebuttal with an agitating escalation of rudeness and denigration. My partner calmly explained that in these conditions, a car's interior temperature can rise to above 80 degrees in well under 30 minutes, not including stifling humidity. These conditions can cause an animal to pass out and die within a similar timeframe. At this point, it had been well over 30 minutes since the patron had parked. During all of this, he refused to even address my partner or look them in the eyes. It was absolutely unacceptable, and ultimately embarrassing for a grown man in a PAID CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED POSITION to treat anyone like that. To be clear: the entire staff were incredible. They came out to check on the dog a few times, and tried their best to confront the owner of the dog, but a certain manager was preventing them. They also apologized profusely, and showed a grace that is exemplary and frequently unseen in today's world. We learned several good lessons today: 1. We should have just called animal control right off the bat. The owner isn't going to learn their lesson without legal intervention, or lethal endings. Thankfully they left after about 40 minutes, and the dog seemed to be conscious. 2. I am never going to eat here again, as long as Robert is employed. He should be left in a hot car out front to teach him some perspective. I wouldn't call animal control for him though. 3. I am going to spend the rest of my days around Edmonds telling anyone who will listen this story. To Robert, if you read this: I hope nothing but bad things happen to you forever, and your behavior is inexcusable. You do not deserve to be employed. To anyone above Robert in a position of management or ownership: fire him. Quickly, and unceremoniously. Do it in front of the kind employees, as a treat. They had a familiar air of exasperation with Robert's behavior, telling me this is normal. And under no circumstances should it ever be. Shame on you Robert.
