For a reasonable price the 6-year old sunroof had its first servicing. Months later when it started to leak Lee's Custom Appearance serviced it again at no charge. If the problem continues we'll know it's a deeper issue requiring a larger repair outside of the original warrantee which is reasonable. We plan to bring other vehicles to Lee's for work. 2/16/2015 Update: The 2nd visit mentioned in the 10/8/2014 review (again at no charge) repaired the leak!

I picked up the doors with the intention of installing at a later date. I contacted several contractors and due to contractor problems and household problems was not able to install doors until November of 2019. I was also having the bathroom redone, When it came time for the doors to be installed we found that there was no hardware in the box. I contacted Binswanger on 11/19/19. When talking to them I got the feeling that since I did not install the doors in a timely manner that they were not going to do anything about the frames. I called 5 times in 2 days after being promised that someone would call me back and of course they did not and I had a contractor waiting to put the doors in. Called again on 11/25/19 and again was promised someone would call me back. I sent a message to the main office hoping for someone to help. 11/26/19-Finally got a call from Bill White, the manager, who said he would look into it. Later the same afternoon I received a call from Mr. White who informed me that they had found the hardware at his store. Apparently they had the hardware at the store and when I picked up the doors they did not bring them to me. After they just put them in the warehouse without contacting me even tho my name was on the package. I returned and picked up the package. 12/218/19-The doors are not quite the same size so the door handles do not fit. I call Mr. White about the handles. He said he would look into it. 12/27/19-No call from him so I called back and he has yet to return call. During the whole ordeal I got the feeling that the employees thought that it was my fault for not putting in the doors until 11 months later. Did not know that there was a time limit. Insurance would not pay anything because it came in below my $500 deductible. My insurance company recommended I use Safelite and even provided me a quote right on the claims website. I was going to use them, but decided to get another quote first. I called Binswanger and got a quote that was $110 less than Safelite. Safelite quoted me $275 + tax. For the same window, Binswanger quoted, and charged, me $165, including tax and installation. Good enough in and of itself for a 5 star review, but it gets better for Binswanger. My appointment was for 1 p.m.. I called the day of, at 10:30 am, and was disappointed when they said they had forgotten to order the glass (I had made an appointment the day before). They did say they would have things ready for 1 pm (my appointment time). The young woman I spoke with was very forthright, admitting she had forgotten to order the glass (an honest mistake), but assured me she would make the situation right. When I showed up, the glass was not there yet, but they had a technician start working on my car, taking the door apart, right away. When the glass showed up they must have been ready to install immediately, because the job only took 50 minutes, overall. That is less time than the 60-90 minute window Safelite promised me. The work was done perfectly. I decided to run through a car wash on the way home and the seals all held. The price was the big win here, but I am very impressed that Binswanger employees were able to deal with a situation so swiftly. Even though someone made a small mistake, they were able to get the job done perfectly and on time. I have decided to switch auto insurance carriers because of this. Trying to persuade someone to use a glass replacement company (Safelite) that charges so much more ($165 vs. $ 275+ tax) more on a simple installation is robbery. Bottom line, get a quote from these guys before you get any auto glass replaced.
