Service was kind, honest, and quick! My rear view mirror on the windshield had fallen off and after a couple failed attempts to mount it back up myself (lost the original bracket and then stupidly glued the replacement bracket on backwards), I popped in here on my lunch break and they were able to help me out in a jiffy! I ended up calling a few places in Virginia Beach. They had the lowest price especially for tinted glass and they were able to get me on Monday morning. The whole repair took about two hours. This is the second time I had my car's windshield fixed by Low Price Auto Glass within a year. I tried asking around on where's the best windshield shop in the Hampton Roads area and this shop is the first thing that comes to their minds. Low Price Auto Glass is located near Laskin Road, which is quite a drive for me, but I am willing to drive to their shop for a better price. While most shops quoted me around $200 for my windshield, Low Price Auto Glass charged me $170 only. When we got there, they helped us right away, but we called before coming in to check if there's a long wait. They were quick and fixed my glass within 30 minutes. I called a bunch of places to find that none of them replace windshields on motorhomes. Low Price auto glass said yes, we do. I was so happy to hear that. They quoted me a very good price and I said I'll be there tomorrow., but had to reschedule a couple of times. That was no problem for them. They had the windshield in Stock. They quoted 2hours, but we were there for less than an hour. The cost for a 31ft motorhome was $450. I didn't have to go through my insurance, because the price was so low. I would first like to start with the positives of my experience. I dropped off my car and was promptly attended to within ten minutes of my arrival. The staff assessed my windshield and recommended I get three small cracks filled in. Again, no problem. I give them my number and left. Now for the negative aspects I experienced. After an hour I received a phone call informing me that they had cracked my windshield when attempting to patch the cracks and that I now required a new one. I was offered a price of $140, which, if I had come in looking to get my windshield replaced would have been a very fair price. However, given the fact that they were the ones responsible for cracking my windshield I expected more of a discount than what they would quote most customers. The manager assured me that he very rarely cracks windshields whilst repairing them so maybe I'm just unlucky, but given my experience I can't recommend their services. If you're getting your windshield repaired, I would highly recommend going to another competitor. Most charge about the same prices so it's not really a loss financially wise and you might avoid an $80 additional charge. Update: 08/25/14 I wanted to update my review as there has been a follow up since the last post. I received a phone call from the manager today who willingly removed the additional amount I paid to have my windshield replaced. In light of these actions I would have to say that I would recommend them for the replacement and repair of windshields, but! Make sure that you know up front what events could happen with any service you get before you have it done. Needless to say this advice goes for all auto body repair shops, not just this one. read more

So I had my windshield replaced by them about a year and half a ago and I noticed a leak in two place on my A - pillars and I did a water test to confirm it was leaking out the urethane they installed. I call up the shop to receive an attitude from the owner. I end up just having a friend in the glass industry help me reseal it because I dont trust their work anymore.
