don't come here if your looking for good gel-x. they were lumpy, uneven, and weren't even fitted properly to the nail.

I recently moved to Bakersfield and needed to find a business who does lash extensions. Randomly, I found Diamond nails and lashes. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience as I did at this place. The first red flag was that the person doing my lashes (the owner) was finished in about 30 minutes. And, I was getting a new set. When she wad done, I opened my eyes and I could feel something wad in my left eye. I told her and she looked in my eye and said it was a lash and then attempted to take it out. She said she got it out but she didn't. Whatever it was, was really irritating my eye. I told her it was still there and she looked again and said it was a lash again. She, again acted like she wad taking it out but the irritation was still present. I needed to go have my pedicure, so I told her that maybe the irritation would go away. It didn't and there was definitely something in my eye. I got her attention again and told her something wad still in my eye. She looked and said she didn't see anything. I left the place feeling quite annoyed and really bummed. When I got home, I looked at my eyes and lashes and I saw that several of the lashes she applied were curled downward and scratching my eye! I couldn't believe this! I have never had this happen anywhere before, not anywhere and I have had eyelash extensions done at many businesses. I was getting my lashes done for a special family celebration the next day and now my eyes were very irritated and my lashes looked terrible. I needed to take them off and I never wanted to walk back into that place again. It took me a couple weeks to take them all off, it's not easy to get these extensions lashes off! And, I didn't have a lot of time to work at removing them because I work a lot and even travel for my job. I had to research ways to remove them. I bought a facial steamer and even that didn't help much. She sure used extra powerful glue. A few people told me I should have went back there and have her remove them. However, I was so very disappointed and annoyed by the horrible experience, I just couldn't stand the thought of walking back in there. Needless to say, I will never go there again. read more

I got gel nails and am satisfied. However, my daughter got acrylic nails and they looked horrible. They're lumpy and very thick. Also, they seemed more interested in the show they were watching than paying attention to what they were doing. read more

the overall instruments and spa area was very clean, but i have never had a worse experience in a nail salon. me, my mom, and my grandma all came in for a dip manicure. the three of us have been getting dip for years and are very familiar with the process. my mom asked her tech to trim her nails twice and she still did not trim them. her tech also acted as if she did not know what she was doing. there was another man standing over her and walking her through what to do. as for my grandma, they couldn't have spent more than 20 minutes on her nails. they came out all different shapes and thicknesses. now, my nails are a trainwreck. I wanted long coffin shape and they don't look like coffin. the dip has a bunch of air bubbles on both sides and are very lumpy. on top of all of this the employees were more interested in watching their show than doing our nails. costed $170 for a bad service....NEVER AGAIN read more
