Everyone working here was kind and friendly. There was no wait on an early Sunday afternoon. The space itself is small and could use a bit of work on the entry area, but the chairs were newer, the massage functions work, and there were TVs for us to watch. Plenty of staff were available and got us in and out, but since it was not busy, they really took their time. I am really pleased with how my gel pedicure came out. What a hidden gem! I called for an appointment on Saturday morning and they were able to fit me and my husband in that same day. The salon is clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. Calvin did my nails while my pedicure was being done. It's been a while since I've gotten a set and he took the time to explain my options. Yen did my gel manicure and gel pedicure and she did an amazing job! This place is a little on the pricy side but it is worth it for the quality. She asked me multiple times if my nails were okay and if I liked them. She took her time with my nails and made sure that there was no excess nail polish on my skin or any bubbles and that there was an even enough coat. They did a lot more coats of gel than other places so it looks better and thicker! They also have a stamp card that I would recommend doing for $5 off. I got the color 135. I had gotten some really terrible nail art on my ring fingers last weekend and realized I couldn't leave it for two weeks. I called them and explained the situation and they got me in for Monday after work. The place is very small, but I was taken right in. Pedi time with my momma! Stopped by on a Monday afternoon, this place is on the smaller side, pretty crowded when we came, but the wait time wasn't that bad at all. I got Lee, she was so sweet, offered me some wine or water, gave me a menu and bucket of colors to choose from. Picked my colors and she got started. She was gentle but very precise. Loved that she truly took her time! Didn't rush at all. Foot scrub, massage, cuticle cut, callus removal, hot towel and polish! About half way though my feet felt so much better! Lol Polish came out great too! And they do have a lot of colors to choose from, both gel and regular. Prices vary on the pedis, starting at 28$ and working upwards, depending on how much you want done, love it! Since a lot of places tend to start at 50$ and up, it's a huge plus. My mom got the pretty blonde lady (sorry, didn't get her name) but she was also very sweet, non pressuring and did a great job. No one offered her anything to drink though. It's okay, she didn't want anything, but still, be consistent. If you come in with gel polish, they charge 10$ for removal, but will wave it if you opt to get gel polish again. We both got the VIP treatment for 38$ each and it came with everything I needed, if you do get gel polish verses the regular it is an extra $20 though. I wasn't pressured at all about getting the gel polish over the regular though (like I have been at some places) highly appreciated that! Overall it was a good Pedi day. Quality work. I have tried to Ike this place but between the nickel and diming of every little thing and the fact that it's Just not the cleanest place. $20 for gel (industry standard in this area) additional charge for OPI, additional charge for so many things when they are already above local prices. She made them exactly the length and style I wanted, she even advised me to not do chrome like I wanted because it would create a clump look and she didn't want me to look silly with clump nails. It was a hot day, and the first thing they offered me was a glass of chilled Rosé. The salon wasn't busy, so the even gave me the remote to the TV and I got to watch married at first sight well I got my nails done. Ha! I'm not one to leave bad reviews butttttt... I'm trying to figure out how everyone rates this place 4+ stars. The ratings brought me here. The reviews of cleanliness and great service, well... Came in for a pedicure and dip nails. First things first, you walk in and there's a mess. One customer actually came in and kicked a toy off to the side so she could walk in. Chairs full of dust and nail clippings. They did put a bag around the tub, cool. Implements came in a "sterilized" baggie but when I went back to wash my hands, their "disinfecting" jars were unorganized, old and opened. There's nothing clean about this place. At all. My pedicure was ok, nothing special. My dip? LOL a mess. He got polish on my cuticles and my sidewalls. I had actually asked him for a certain nail color and he tells me "$15 more for that color, your dip is 45 plus 15" I asked why and he responded "it's expensive. They raised the price to $30 a bottle...just pick another color" ok??????? This place needs an inspection, along with other shops around the neighborhood. Sanitation and disinfection needs to be taken serious. read more
