I was looking for a place to get a gel polish change rather immediately. I usually go to another place but they always book up weeks in advance and I only had today to make this nail appointment happen. I called diamond nails and asked if they had any available gel polish change appointments and she said come in now and I can get you in. What a relief. Now upon first walk in - it looks a little dated and not the best inviting space but you are greeted with smiles and a quick hello. She started soaking off my old gel while she was finishing with another customer. She buffed and shaped my nails, keeping my length. I picked a lighter natural color and she did three coats which was nice because sometimes at other places you have to ask for three for lighter colors as they just do two and think that's fine. While chatting I asked her when her next appointment was and she said they didn't show so I asked if she wanted to add some gems. She did a gel design on one nail on each hand and it's so pretty! 'So' took the time to make sure each fingernail looked good. I am very happy to have found a place nearby who does good nails and doesn't rush you out of there! Loved the color on my nails and my tech was efficient and sweet. Didn't talk much to me but I didn't mind that. This was my first time getting acrylics and I think they did a great job but there was a downside. My cuticles were cut up a ton! I don't know if this is typical but it was my first time so I'll give it another shot. It did sting a bit but nothing you can't handle. The other down side was the smell of the place it just didn't smell fresh or very nice and the air felt thick. Overall I'd suggest them to a friend as the pricing isn't too bad and they were able to get me in right away. read more

The worst nails I have ever had! I stopped at this salon thinking I could find a new place to get my pink and white liquid gels done. I wish I never stepped foot in the door! Not only was the manicurist rushed, the pink lines are wavy, the nails themselves are not smooth because she didn't sand them after applying the gel, and my nails starting chipping within 30 minutes of leaving. Liquid gels are supposed to be the best, hardest, and last up to 5 weeks. I know this because I've gotten them now for years. The service stunk, the product was cheap. I would not ever recommend this salon to anyone. read more

I REALLY wanted to like this place. I think I have been here about seven times now and finally decided to move on. I went here because a relative of mine is a regular and I was looking for a new nail salon. I was hesitant to go here because they were way cheaper than salons I have been to in the past and I firmly believe that you get what you pay for. I was a bit put off initially because the place seems like it needs a good cleaning. Not a good sign in a business where sterilization is key. The floors were covered in dust bunnies and the stations had a mix of old uncleaned supplies and snack foods on them. The bathroom seemed relatively clean though. I had the exact same nail tech every time. I only ever saw the same two people working there even though there are several manicure and pedicure stations. My tech was only ever friendly once out of the seven times I went, I'm not sure why. Most of the time she couldn't pull herself away from her phone which is was really irritating. She always texted throughout, often times stopping work she was doing to text. On more than one occasion she was on the phone having a personal conversation while working on my hands, including drilling. That was unsettling. The other nail in the coffin is I always left the salon bleeding, I wish I were joking. It is the only nail salon I have ever been to where every single time I was getting my nails done I was cut by the drill. I also think she may have been heavy handed a few times and took way too much of my nail down, causing sore fingers and a burning sensation. I don't expect perfection every time, but I do expect not to be in pain every time. She seemed sincerely apologetic when it would happen, but I can't help but feeling like it she were paying attention to her work and not her phone or the rerun of Cops on TV it wouldn't have happened. Every time. Overall, the quality of the work was ok. The acrylics always lasted long and never chipped. However, they were usually wonky and I almost always had to reshape them when I got home. It is also the only place I have ever had painful manicures. The place needs a good cleaning and that may be because they seem a bit understaffed. However, I have always been able to get a walk in in a short amount of time. I've never gotten a pedicure there but they seem popular for that, the majority of clients there while I as there were all getting pedicures. If memory serves, they take cards but you cannot leave a tip on the card which seems weird to me. The price is really low and in short, they seem like a typical cheap nail salon. But I would rather pay twice as much for better service and clean environment. read more

I was "shopping" for group rates for a bridal party getting gel mani/regular pedis, and the person I spoke to on the phone was abrasive and rude. They don't have a website to reference or view services, however there are several "fake" ones out there that they've neglected to report or have taken down, resulting in bad information floating around the internet. In this day and age of Groupon, Living Social, and other discount offers running rampant, if you can't work out a $40/person deal, I'm taking my money elsewhere. UPDATE: the bride insisted we go here after all, then my ridiculously expensive gel mani started peeling off 5 days later. I beg you - take your money elsewhere. read more

I showed up an hour before close, so of course no one seemed happy that I came in. There was no desk person, just 3 techs. I was sent across the room to pick out polishes. The nail tech who saw me was curled up in a ball on a massage chair..which was kinda awkward and a little unprofessional. We started with my pedicure, which went pretty well, a couple of my toenails are crooked and they're rounded which is kind of weird for me since I've always had square nails. But they still look alright except for a couple bumps in the polish here and there. I wish I would've trusted my gut and stopped there and went to a different salon Monday. My manicure is awful. I don't know if maybe the polish is bad or it was just super rushed because it's already cracking and chipping after only having them done for 2 hours. I asked for chevron on 2 of my fingers. Which turned into 2 poorly done wiggly lines on each finger. I then realized that I was never coming back. After the tech tested my nails to see if they where dry, she had me come up and pay. My nails weren't dry so she had to fix them after I paid. I was kind of in shock that I was being charged for such badly executed "nail art". The whole experience cost me $60! $60 to waste 2 hours of my time and still have to do my nails myself when I get home. read more

Being one of the only nail salons on the westside open on Sunday, I have been here a few times. Both experiences have been good. My pedicure always comes out looking great and lasts a few weeks (score!) I'm not one for manicures or acrylics so I can't speak on their quality hear but the pedis are priced well ($28) and worth it. Some of the polishes on the wall are pretty spent but there are so many that I never have a problem finding a shade I like. The women here not overly friendly but kind enough and do great work! My most recent visit a super nice woman named "Neat" (gosh I wish I could spell it right) did a great job on my pedicure and was pleasant. She checked in with me here and there while I read a book. I will definitely be back here again for a quick and relaxing Sunday pedicure. read more

Shellac mani/ pedicure $68(not including tip) ! All the staff talked to me and I didn't have a problem with anyone on their phone as someone else mentioned! I feel like they did a thorough job and took their time with me! I didn't feel rushed or booted out the door. They had many colours to choose from. This place could use a good dusting but so what?!! I had a great experience here my first time back in June. The manicurist was a lady who was absolutely fabulous for my shellac manicure. I went back about 2 weeks ago and a newer lady serviced my nails. She was very nice. The overall experience has been nice and my nails have grown into healthy nails. I highly recommend this establishment. Also, credit cards are accepted however you can only tip with cash!!! My total cost for shellac manicure before tip was about $38 and that included the French tips. read more

Title for this review: unprofessional, rude, and lousy service. I went to Diamond Nails since they were open late on Saturday and I was in desperate need of a manicure after a long day of painting. I called and made an appointment for 6pm. When I arrived, the young lady (whom was dressed in tie-died tights and a see through shirt) exhaled loudly because she realized she had an appointment, which I thought was completely rude. I dismissed it and chose my nail color. To my surprise, the number color I chose was mislabeled in their selection on the wall, so she picked a hot pink. When I said that was the wrong color and I chose light pink, she looked at me annoyed and said "it isn't that bright it will be fine". After a hurried manicure with her looking at the clock almost the entire time, and with my constant persistence that the color was wrong, she said ok you're done. I guess I looked mortified because the manager came over. After I explained what happened, she tried to fix it while the girl sulked off to the other side of the room and played on her phone. Instead of taking off the hot pink and starting over, she proceeded to paint over my nails with several lighter shades of pink. In the end, I still had to pay over $30.00 for their service and my nails look like they were bleeding (light pink center and hot pink around the sides and cuticles). You may think I'm exaggerating, but when I got home my husband said he couldn't believe I walked out paying that price with such a terrible manicure. I will NEVER go there again and I ask that you please take caution before considering this "establishment". read more

Decent prices was able to make an appointment for the same day, the staff works really well at working together to get customers in and out. It is not the fanciest salon but nice Massage chairs and girls working. I got a shellac manicure and was told if anything gets ruined before two weeks to come back, which is nice to know. I have had the hardest time finding a good nail salon for acrylics. A client of mine told me about Diamond Nails so when it was time for a fill I decided to go and get them done there. I had to wait a bit but that didn't bother me as I did not make an appointment. My nail technician was Elizabeth. Not only was she quick she did an amazing job. She shaped and trimmed my nails to the length I requested (many other places I've been to have left them too long) and they look natural. The location is very easy to find, parking on the side of the building and the salon is clean. I will definitely continue to go there and Elizabeth has my loyalty as a client now. read more

I've been here a few times since I live across the street. They do a decent job but the customer service is crap. If you walk in its a crap shoot if they will actually take you. Once in a Saturday it was going to be about a 3 hour wait. I came back at the exact time that they wrote on the sheet to come back and they said it was just too busy today. Another time I came in at about 3:10 on a Sunday, there were 2 employees and one customer besides myself. I asked for a pedicure and they whispered to each other and she said they closed at 4, I replied yea so that gives you an hour they told me no. So basically I think this place prefers doing nails versus pedicures and will make any excuse to not help you get a pedicure. read more

I won't go back here again. I got gel nails here a week ago and they started bubbling and flaking off about an hour later. I went back and had then fixed the next day and and 4 days later it stated chipping off. By then end of the week it's almost all gone and looks horrible :/ also my manicure was so rough my cuticles bled. read more

I took my daughter there for her first time getting nails put on. I should have looked at them before they finished. After they finished and then she painted them my daughter went to the nail dryer while I paid so I didn't see them until after we left. They were awful! I could have done a better job with a drugstore kit. Thick and lumpy on top and bottom. It was embarrassing. the girls are very talented and relatively nice, do a pretty job but the service is lacking and the place is understaffed. i made three separate appointments two weeks in advance and had to wait over forty minutes each time to actually get my manicure started. my cuticles were left sore and bleeding and the acrylic process was painful. after my nails were done i was charged over 75 dollars when i was originally told 50. the prices are very unclear and they will try to overcharge you. read more
