I had Vee as my nail tech. She was super nice and worked quickly. Have suggestions and wasn't rushed to get me out. Happy with the end result. I don't have the cutest feet so I appreciated my nail tech doing my pedicure. She did a good job. Place was nice and clean with other clients coming in and out. Parking was easy too. I was very disappointed with my experience. I was charged $170 for a manicure and pedicure, and it wasn't even gel. I was told it would cost even more if I wanted gel, which was surprising considering my design was very simple. I only got a white chrome design and a basic manicure--nothing complicated. When I asked why the total was so high, I was given different explanations that didn't make sense to me. I've been coming to this salon for a long time, and I usually see a wonderful nail technician who is honest and never overcharges me. Unfortunately, she wasn't available this time, and my experience was completely different. I think customers should be told the total cost before the service begins, especially when the price is much higher than expected. I left feeling disappointed and overcharged. read more

I had Pilates class next door but I arrived 30 minutes early. I saw this salon one store over and decided to hop in for a quick gel removal. I usually do my own nails at home but I have been busy and haven't had time to remove them myself (and I also dread it since it's the most annoying part of doing my own nails). So anyways, I go in and the lady in charge told me it was $10 and we quickly got to work. I don't remember the girl that was working on my nails but she was not good. First, she sanded down the top coat with her electric file and then she wrapped it with acetone, cotton and foil. Everything was good up to this point. She removed all of the wraps within 2 minutes (which was not even close to being long enough soak of the gel). She then sent back to using her electric file to file off all the gel and part of my nails too making them super thin and fragile. And then she started shaming me for how thin they were but she was the one that did that... and proceeded to tell me to come back to her next time and she'll use builder gel to fix it... wtf. If you see all my images, you can see all the visible ridges from the filter and how thin my nails are now... now I have to spend more money on buying nail strengthener to regrow my nails. Loved the customer service! They ask you if you want tea or coffee and some snacks. They are gentle on your nails. I did have an in grown nail so she was trying to pull it out and it hurt but I knew it was for my own good haha. Great colors and staff and gel x/ builder gel is the way to go! My technician was Helen, and she was very good. My skin is really dry and I don't get manis or pedis often, 'cause they don't seem worth it. But I gotta say, this was well-worth it. Helen cleaned up my dry cuticles and kept working on it til it was completely smooth. She removed my in-growns on my toes and I didn't even feel it. They were also playing 80s music which was a bonus! I wish I lived closer, so I could make this my regular spot, but alas, I live in the sf bay area and was only here for an event. I decided to leave a review after a week. I got a manicure for the first time in a long time therefore I was very exited. However my experience with the end result has not been the best. On Saturday Nov 30 I went to get a gel manicure and felt it was rush. I didn't say anything and let the nail tech finish her job, everything looked great however by Monday my gel manicure was lifting on almost all my nails, I didn't think to take a picture because I figure I would go back and have them fixed it. Which they did and were very nice about it! Decided to change the color to a red, well it has been a week and my nails look terrible, they look as if they are so out grown and like I've had them for two weeks, it is chipping. Just really bumped out it wasn't what I was expecting. I also want to mention the place need a little more love, it seems a bit dirty. read more

I got a gel x nail set about 3 weeks ago and they did a really good job, I believe it was Nancy who did it! They were good but that was the last time I get my nails done here. I came in today to get a new set and even called yesterday and this morning to confirm if they were available. They said yes, come right now. I came in and was the first person in the salon. The older lady had me sit down and I showed her a pic of what I wanted this time. She said it was too hard and that I had to wait 10 minutes for someone else to come and do the design. I said okay. While I was waiting, 4 other women come in and the salon ladies service them right away (they were all getting pedicures so I know that's easier than what I was getting, so I wasn't mad). I wait 15 minutes and I ask if no one could do the design can someone just take the nails off, she says yes just wait a little longer. I wait 15 more minutes and that was too much time waiting for nothing. I tell them again if no one can do the design (that's not even a hard design) then can someone just take them off. She said "we're really busy". I said "I know but I came here first" and no reply. So I left and I'm so disappointed in the service here. Don't know if it's a race thing or what, but there's a way better way to treat your clients, especially ones that were first in the shop for the day. read more
