Literally had me sit there for 4 hours. Originally walked in for acrylic full set pedicure, as they're doing my toes the lady informed me it would be 35 plus the package of choice, I choose the $27 pedicure package. She never asked if I wanted gel or regular polish. She then insisted I get builders gel I kept mentioning that I wanted acrylic but she was persistent I get builders gel so she proceeded to do builders gel. I said I liked the shape once she was done before the design process I just didn't like the glossy look to it and then she starts doing my French tip design and I kept saying I don't like it over and over again you said builders gel was like acrylic and they got someone else to help me I kept saying that I wanted the acrylic look over and over, but this lady begins doing the same thing adding a design instead of giving me a solution, she makes me look for approval and I say no I do not like it. She removed the builders gel and tells me I will get my acrylic set, someone else comes to help me and does my set again never asking if I want gel or regular polish. I did let them know I had multiple cuts and that it was burning she told me to let her know doing so she continued to throw chemicals on those open cuts and would look at me smiling. I had sat there for 3 hours already 8 months pregnant. They knowingly knew that I had missed my nail appointment with someone else due to them not giving me what I wanted so I proceeded to ask if I could get an acrylic full set she said she would be able to do my set. I showed her my inspo and she not once mentioned how much it would be, she then says I will give you a medium length Gelx set ok? I tell her no I want acrylic she then goes "why don't u want Gelx" again trying to choose for me.. I said it is not my preference. I then go to the next chair to do my set it was now 4 hours of me being there, she finished applying and shaping the acrylic and then decided to finally give me a price she tells me its going to 90 when I tell her to just leave as is she then goes I will give you discount of $80 then $75 I again refused over and over. We head to the register and then she begins to tell me its $85 for my toes I argued with her that they had told me 35 plus 27 over and over she made multiple calls to the ladies and they all responded aggressively so I proceeded to say I do not want to speak to them, she pulls out a price sheet that I had looked at in the beginning of the Pedicure Packages and says that in writing it says something about an extra charge the writing was small.. they didn't inform me at all about this. So I then argued that I was cut up and sat there for 4 hours for them to overcharge and randomly bring up another charge that they did not once mention and angrily told me I had to read everything and that it was all my fault. She proceeded to charge me $135 all together I then pull out my zelle proceeded to pay and she proceeded to say she needed a picture of my receipt I refused. I would never walk out without paying.. so I asked if I can leave she then says a remark after I leave. They left me in distress these were my babyshower nails I am heartbroken, my boyfriend went in respectfully asking why they overcharged me and had me sitting there to have an overall horrific experience and that I am pregnant not feeling so great she then proceeded to lie and say she was pregnant too?? also mentioning cameras and having footage that she did not mind sharing of me saying I loved everything once he asked to see the footage she says no?? so she continues to contradict herself we did call the cops and they told us to file a claim because of the distress they put me through and that they aren't cooperating so take them to court so that is exactly what we are going to do. I am not going to tolerate this behavior and it is absurd that this is how they treat customers. DO NOT COME HERE if you dont want to be overcharged and not receiving the service you are paying for. I also have messages that I sent to multiple people about my time here as I was sitting there expressing to the nail techs how I felt. I was completely overlooked. read more

Words cannot explain how unprofessional this lady is. I went in wanting acrylic nails. This lady started putting gel X. I proceed to tell her that I want ACRYLIC NOT GEL X and she keeps insisting while applying the gel X on me telling me that those are better. After I had them on she started cutting my cuticles AGGRESSIVELY I MEAN AGGRESSIVELY to the point where all my fingers started bleeding and she goes to tell me she didn't notice. I told her to just take them off I couldn't let her continue with my fingers full of blood. She soaked them off with acetone while my fingers wouldn't stop bleeding. I am so upset and frustrated with this stressful situation I was put in. I will not be coming back here I spent 2 hours in here. My appointment was at 1 and I didn't leave until 3 and all I got was a simple short yellow French tip! I truly believe that it should not have taken that long and the price that they charged me for something so simple is absolutely crazy to me. Very unprofessional for the other two ladies that were there to be sitting in the front peeling and eating fruit very loudly. Overall was just not a great experience. I'd also like to say that when she was shaping my nails she was cutting me very bad she went so far as to reshape my actual nail under the acrylic. You can actually see my skin from under my nail when you look under. My nails were bleeding and swore after. She also laughed at me when I told her I didn't want Gel X and wanted acrylic, she said that the Gel x would last longer and I said that I had never tried it and didn't want it she laughed and then kept pushing it on me I told her no about 4 times until she just got quiet and started on my nails. read more

UME Refresh opened up in a shop I've visited before but it's been completely remodeled. It's clean, modern, and the staff are really nice. They greeted me upon entry and showed me to my seat then offered me a beverage. The service selections offer a broad range and I settled on the UME Refreshment pedicure. I selected the mint soak which smells amazing and the scrub included fresh orange slices. When I want a pedicure I look for comfort (their massage chairs actually worked a kink out of my stress spot between my shoulders!), I look for cleanliness and I need a good foot scrub and they met all those needs. If I had to change anything, I'd add another type of foot file in addition to the electric sander they use. My feet can get rough due to my weight so they need some extra love. Overall, I loved my service and I'm actually sitting here writing this during my second visit for the same service with the same tech. 2nd time this month! read more

Also big red flag he was working sick but I had to get my nails done last minute. I didn't want to complain about my nail shape because I didn't want that vibe. I had a very bad experience at this place. The male technician that worked on my nails did a very bad job. He kept wiping the sides of each nail after applying each coat of gel polish. He wouldn't even wipe his fingers off after doing this for each nail, he just kept on going for each finger. This caused the gel to have bubbles at the corners, 6 nails to cure uneven and the coat underneath not to dry. When I returned the next day to get my nails fixed with the same technician, he had an attitude as if it were my fault that this happened. I had gotten black gel polish and after he suggested a lighter brown color that I ended up agreeing on, he still left a bunch of black gel polish on a lot of my nails. He claimed that the black gel polish is made thick, however, I got the exact same color on my toes and had absolutely no issues. Mind you, they weren't even busy, it was me and like 1 or 2 other women getting their nails done. I would've thought I would've gotten a good job. Definitely very disappointed. read more
