Love the place! My daughters, 9 and 6 loved making the candles. The lady was so patient with them. It has amazing products. Bought some soaps and solid lotion. The soaps were so appetizing, my husband wanted to take a bite out of some. He even compelled to make a candle for his secret santa's gift, a lot to ask from a man who had to use hands and feet to tape a folder. Glad we found the place. Will definitely come back. read more

This place is amazing, with many handmade, organic bath and beauty products. My fiance and I had a blast making each other candles, which was easy and you can choose your own scent. Best of all, we made two candles for less than $15 and they are beautiful! The service was very friendly, and she made sure to be there to answer any questions but also provided privacy to where you can just have fun with your friend or whomever you go with. There are so many wonderful things to say about this place I'm not even sure where to begin. Well, we come to big bear once a year and we always make sure to stop by Ohnaturel located in the village of Big Bear. It's a perfect little shop to make your own scented candles, lotions, sprays, scrubs etc. Not to mention the products are all organic and the owner is an amazing chemist who makes everything herself. This year we learned that her brother will be taking over the shop for a while and he is amazing. He helped us choose our scents for our candles, gave us a nice glossy finish upgrade on them for free and even gave us a free bath bomb (which made my whole tub smell like lavender, it was awesome!) You can tell he really loves his job and isn't just there because he has to be. So I would definitely recommend this place not only for the amazing products, but also for the amazing service that they offer all the time. It's a perfect place for all ages. read more

Super cute shop with a friendly atmosphere. Came here on my first trip to Big Bear because I had a really bad cold and was looking for a way to breathe easier on my trip. The owner created a custom blend for me of aromatic essential oils for me. At first I was put off at the steep price, but that didn't last long. I sniffed the oil intermittently and put it in an oil diffuser that night. By the next afternoon I felt so much better and by the end of the trip I was completely cured! This spot has quickly become my favorite place in Big Bear! read more

Pain relief for sciatica!!!! I just wanted to say thank you to Chrystel for making me an inhaler and muscle rub for my excruciating pain which is because I suffer from Piriformis Syndrome. I use the rub 2xs a day once before my stretching in the morning and the other in the evening when I massage the area. Throughout the day I use the inhaler which helps manage the pain. I do still take a muscle relaxer but her products help me sleep and I couldn't thank her more for her amazing knowledge. If you suffer from sciatic pain you know some days you can barely move or simply sit or stand without that terrible pain. Because of her products slowly I am gaining control of my chronic pain. read more

OMFG when I saw this shop bae knew he needed to sit down because I'd be here all night! This cute little shop is the shop of my dreams. The don't use any animal products in the candles plus they are organic!! The best part is that the shop owner makes mostly everything in the store (soaps, creams, lots of creams, candles, lotions, lip balm)! The creams can get a little pricey, but the owner stands by her products. As for the make your own candles. They start at $6 (which is a great deal for the size) then the largest ones are $45 and they are massive! There are tons of colored wax pieces you can put in the candle mold to make them unique to you. I made bae make a candle with me and we had an amazing time making our special candles. The candles turned out so stunning that we came back the next day to make more extravagant shapes and color patterns. This is definitely my fav new place for candles. We stopped by yesterday 12/27 at 4pm (the stated hours are 10-6), the store was closed and the owner indicated they would be open today from 10-6. Parking is crazy this week with a lot of people in town for the holiday so it was an effort to get in and out of town to go to Diamond Plate. We hoped the effort would be worth it. We came back today just before 5pm.. he had several customers but told us we could not come in because he had a family reunion to go to. Twice we tried, twice turned away... after getting our kids and family in the car. Lame. Not the way a small town business is going to thrive or build a good reputation. Very disappointing. He could have posted his hours, or let us know the day before that he was closing early. I'd make sure they are open and serving customers before you go!!!! read more

Great place to take your wife or girlfriend for a date! My wife and I really enjoyed the personal touch that Chrystel and Phil gave us. We made a couple of candles and we got to pick the shape, size, colors and fragrance. We build it together and then Phil finished it off and because it was very slow there at the time he got creative and cut a few designs into it for us. Very personalized! We have the candle siting in our office space now and I get nostalgia every time I smell it. Thank you! read more

I can't even describe what a magical place it is. The owners are very lovely and talented couple, who will help you to make your own scented candles. They will first give you many options to choose from for your candle's shape, so many to choose from, my favorite was the long star pillar, ($10) then they'll show you all the amazing scents, there are so much to choose from and they all are soo good, and last you choose the many colored wax cubes, which you can mix and match the way of your likeing, making your own candle by placing the little colored wax cubes into the metal candle mold of your choice. My 6 year old little boy had soo much fun making his candle and loved this place...so did I ... My little boy had a big red swallen scratch under his nose and his upper lips from falling off his sled in the snow, and the owner lady gave us a sample of her healing organic skin care product...5 minutes after she applied it the the redness was completly gone and it was completly healed the next day... Thank you so much, I feel bad I didn't purches any of her skin care and other amazing products she makes, because I really had no idea, it's true healing powers...we only went there to make candles...but for sure we'll be back as soon as we can....My friend was also with us she wanted a siamese cat candle. And the owner's husband made that special candle, he worked so very hard on it, way passing closing time for my friend...The outcome of the candle was spectacular, shaped exactly as a cat and looked just like the siamese cats with blue eyes and brown ears... This is the cutest place ever! The lady who owns this place is amazing! She is so nice and friendly!!! We got to make our own candles and she talked to us like we were old friends while waiting for the candles to cool. It is relatively inexpensive and again the customer service is AMAZING! My only regret is that we had no cash so we couldn't give her a tip but we will definitely be back again!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone, especially anyone who loves candles!!! read more
