Food menu to order from 9th hole

Diamond Ridge is a great public course. The course was in beautiful condition, and the greens were perfect. We didn't get a chance to try the food, but the other services were excellent.

Not really Senior friendly tees. Always a few cart path holes. If it rains day before you play always cart path only.

Very well maintained course. Played here several times and is always a go to when I know I want to get out for 18.

We were also the only ones on the driving range and putting green, so early afternoons seem to be the time to hit this place up this time of year (autumn).

The Korean launch monitor system, Golfzon, is good but doesn't get the refined data that the highest end monitors can. The graphics for the system are just okay. The golf balls used are really a toss up. The system auto loads a golf ball onto the tee, which is really cool, but about a third of the time I was trying to load another ball in better shape. You can't use your own there either since they are collected underneath the mat. We rented a bay and were given some complimentary popcorn which was a nice touch. They have a bar area, but we didn't explore their menu this time. Next time, hopefully, I will get a chance to do that. One big drawback is there is only one monitor that has a left-handed setup which is in the back. The putting green is in the middle of the space right when you walk in, but I can't imagine many if any people use it. But there is a nice sitting area in the middle where you can wait until your rented bay opens up. With three of us, we played 18 in two hours easily. And that's with some lag time to warm up and get used to the system. We will be back for sure!

The system, GTS, is cool where the golf ball auto loads onto the tee. But the quality of the golf balls are really low, the graphics aren't great, and again, I don't trust the data all the time. Bare bones inside which I don't mind.

After some research, I thought @GolfHouse would be a great first experience for him since they offer junior coaching and it's similar to a video game. When I emailed them with questions, they were the most quick and complete in response than any of the other Ashburn area courses. At this point we're 3 sessions in. Coach Ju Hee is very professional and confident, but has just the right style to keep my 10 year old engaged. In each session she has walked the line effectively between correcting swing issues and helping him understand how the game works, while also keeping it fun and engaging for him, which is probably the most important part at this point. The sessions involved 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of free time in the bay which I'll sometimes use to take a few swings with my son. So far, this seems to be the right mix. Coach also shared the before/after swing photo I posted from session 2. While I'm not sure if other local coaches have this type of tech, I think this is a significant advantage because of the real-time feedback and insight it gives her into exactly what is happening. It's also great for us to see the progress he's making. Overall, I definitely would recommend @GolfHouse and Coach Ju Hee for lessons. At some point I'll probably book a bay with some of my friends who are more serious golfers during a lesson and see what they think about it.

Matt has worked with most, if not all, of the leading junior golfers in our area. I sought Matt's advice over three years ago to work on my own golf game. Matt is a phenomenal teacher. It took nearly less than 45 min to get there from Parkville. I was early because I failed to have read the invite... oops , but I thought I was late. Before entry, I was able to safely walk around the parking lot. The facility is located in the industrial park of Windsor Mill. Approximately after 7:15p, the small group was able to enter. We were given a link to complete the waiver, but grateful they did provide extras, since I forgor mine due to rushing out the door. In the lobby, the lovely birthday hostess, had a nice set up of healthy snacks, water, and some other sweet treats for later. We were escorted to the exercise area, where the bikes were in the back. Each bike was socially distanced and each guest was provide a towel (nice touch), water, hand sanitizer, and a mask. The instructor and assistant made sure each participant knew how to operate the bikes, and set up their seats and settings. I was worried about the cushion, and so the assistant provided a seat pad. We were told to get ready and then introduced to the instructor, the DJ, and even had the opportunity to say hi to those that were participating from home. Once the music started we cheered on the birthday lady and then the party began. We were encouraged to go at our own pace but keep going. Being my first time, I was able to somewhat keep up with the regulars with minor modifications. I only stopped a few times to adjust my shoes, my seat and to drink some water. This was an awesome party! The music was a tad too loud. I could barely hear the instructor, so I had to rely on looking at the other participants for help. The entire class was awesome. The only thing for me being a plus size woman, I need a special seat, because my rear was really sore. Would I do this again? Yes Do I highly recommend this place? Yes
