It is a tricky piece because the one ring is twisted and the other two are not. Mr Antoun did a brilliant job! It is impossible to tell that the ring was sized and the proportions are perfect. He quoted me $200 for the job and considering the complexity, i found the price fair. Recently a close friend passed and left all of her jewelry to a mutual male friend who had no interest in it. He asked me to sell it for him. Since i was planning a trip to San Antonio, i contacted Mr Antoun and asked if he could help me. He could and did. He was available when i went by his shop and evaluated everything i brought, testing the metals, etc. I feel he gave me a good price for the gold and silver and my friend at home with very happy with the sale. Update, I came to get my ring re-sized (smaller) and a real diamond popped out along the band…read morewithin a couple of days of the ring being sized. I called and asked how much it would cost to replace the small diamond and was told that because the work was done by this location that they would replace the diamond for free. Instead, my real diamond was replaced with a cubic zirconia and luckily, I had a diamond tester at home and was able to bring my ring back for them to replace the diamond and make sure that the diamond that they used was the same as the others. The owner tried to tell me that the rest of my diamonds were actually moissanite, but once I offered to go back home and bring my diamond report of quality and authenticity, he decided that he would replace my diamond with something that would pass the diamond tester. I am honestly still not sure if it is a moissanite piece that actually passes the scan test or if it is a diamond. The metal prongs around the diamond that was replaced are also crushed into place (I'm assuming to keep the diamond from coming out again, but the gold looks genuinely crushed and ruined, feels like a punishment for calling them out). Just sad that all of this happened at all.
