I reached out to them via dm to place an appointment, but you can also do it yourself on their website. I asked whether we would need to commit to anything during the appointment and they said no. This made me feel a bit at ease, as we were just planning to go in to explore our options and become educated in picking out engagement rings. They responded very quickly to my dm and helped me make an appointment, answered any questions I had, and added me to a text chat where I could send in some ring inspos and what styles I was looking for. We came a bit early, but they were able to accommodate us. We were guided to a table reserved especially for us and were offered champagne or sparkling juices/water and some cookies as snacks. Our jeweler, Lyn, was very easy to talk to and she made us feel very comfortable during the entire appointment. We told her that we didn't have much knowledge about picking out a ring and what to look for, but she was able to help us through the entire process and guide us through all of those steps. We had a ring design in mind already and we showed her the photo and she was able to show me the similar setting, diamond shape, and carat size, against my finger. We tried on different band widths to see which one I liked better, went over the 4 C's (color, clarity, cut, and carat weight), and explained to us what they meant. She showed us different diamonds in different carat sizes and the differences in clarity grade between them. My bf and I really learned a lot during our consultation and are very glad we booked an in person consultation with Hung Phat. Prior to coming here, I tried to do some research at home on different types of settings to no luck. Billy immediately pulls up many samples and gave me an explanation of what each settings would look like. After about 10 mins, we settled on a details and I opted to skip out on the chain until the pendant was completed. When it came time to pickup, TQ helped me decide on some chains that would compliment the pendant and I absolutely fell in love with it. We opted for the cuban link vs the rope chain. The piece is absolutely beautiful and my family was in awe of its beauty. I wanted to thank both Billy and TQ for making this a memorable and seamless experience. The pricing on the ring was fair which was why we considered it, but red flags started showing up when they didn't provide any warranty on the ring. Not only did they not properly size my finger, but the jeweler did a terrible job at setting my stone. There were small gaps between the prong and the diamond. We came back after purchasing the ring to this the prongs fixed and they wanted to charge us for the service! He left indent marks from a nail clipper on my prongs. They were not straight and were slanted. The whole ring off putting and I was overall not happy with it. Skip forward two weeks. We had to come back again because the center became loose without dropping or blunt force to it. I had asked multiple people to verify including staff from the jewelry store across from them, all which confirmed that the center stone was loose. However, when we came to complain, the staff were gaslighting me. They were not understanding but had the audacity to say that I was imagining it and that they were the professional so I didn't know what I was talking about. Needless to say, we asked them to take the ring back and will never be shopping here ever again. Please save yourself the headache and buy your jewelry somewhere else!!
