This place saved me! I randomly decided to wear my ring (normally worn on my ring finger), on my middle finger thinking it would fit. Not the brightest idea, and my finger ended up swelling up and I could not get the ring off my finger. It was stuck and I was panicking. The owner was able to remove the ring safely, and my finger swelling went down immediately. He offered to resize it for me for $95, which is a fair price and he only took an hour. I called on a Saturday to see if I could bring in my ring to get it resized. A lovely gentleman answered the phone and told us they were open and I could come in anytime before closing. Without much thought, we drove to Master Fiz Jewelry. Even though there was a small crowd when we arrived, we were assisted immediately. I didn't know my ring size, but it wasn't an issue because they had fittings to ensure I had the correct size. They took my ring, gave me a receipt, and told me I could come in on Tuesday to pick up my ring. I received a text on Tuesday afternoon that my ring was ready for pickup. More than 5 stars. They did a fantastic job repairing a vintage ring that was passed down to me. All of the gold prongs were worn down and the center stone was loose and about to fall out. My ring was repaired in 24 hours and for a very reasonable price. Other reviews mention that this kiosk is hard to find in the mall. Park on the Winchester and Steven's Creek side of the mall (close the Safeway and CVS) and walk through Macy's men and home (first floor). The kiosk is one of the first things you see when you walk into the mall coming out of Macy's. They were also able to replace my boyfriend's watch battery in less than 5 minutes when I came back to pick up my newly repaired ring. Watch replacement was $15 and comes with a warranty. I got a quote from another jewelry repair shop in the mall while I was getting another watch battery replaced (I have a lifetime battery replacement for this particular watch). Their quote was at least four times higher and they said it would take 5 days. I'm so glad I shopped around a bit and found Master Fix Jewelers for the job. I could not be happier with how my vintage ring turned out. I can't wait to wear it out for my next special occasion. Quick, easy and friendly service. I needed a ring engraved and I asked the nice lady at the counter to engrave a simple date. She gave me a piece of paper and a pen and asked me to write it down. I put the date formated with /'s in between the month, day and year. She suggested I use periods or dashes, since slashes look like the number 1 when engraved. Then she wrote both out for me and had me choose, I went with the dashes. She told me 30 minutes and took my payment. I went and had a nice lunch at the food court and stared at all the weird people walking around in the mall for a half hour. When I returned, they had done an exceptional job engraving my ring. I left the mall happy and content with my engraving which came out to a flat fee of $35. Above all, I left the mall knowing I would not have to come back until at least Christmas time, and that fact made me even happier. read more

A sweet and down-to-earth Vietnamese couple, David & Xuan, runs the business, and delivers the most excellent service in rings. They explained in detail the process in which they would work on our rings, discussing the differences in engraving based on the metals used in the ring. Xuan allowed me to try on a couple rings in their case in addition to their ring sizer to confirm the size I wanted. I went up 1 size, and it fits perfectly with no signs of alteration! My fiancé's wedding band was previously re-sized, but we needed an engraving. The original ring company from which we bought the ring accidentally left it out when we sent it back for re-sizing. We opted to seek out a place in person for engraving rather than mailing it back to the company. We were pleasantly surprised that Master Fix Jewelers also had engraving services that were cheaper than what we found online. Previously, this ring had an engraving that was engraved by machine in Times New Roman font (it was an eye sore). David did a hand engraving that actually made me emotional when I saw it because it was similar to my own handwriting! It looked personal and romantic. It was a significant improvement!
