In our case it was Boonieland Weims back east all the way out to California. We were sent tracker photos of the 2 pups on the trip and updates on potty and eating activities. Much more than we expected. Door to door service, a very nice transport van, regular walks along the way, a well organized delivery schedule with not too many other's on board so the trip was more straight forward that we imagined it could be. These are very kind people, who love the pets and care about how they take care and transport.

When I picked him up he looked lovely, and I could just tell, he wasn't traumatized as he sometimes can be a bit when he has to go to the groomer. My instructions were followed to the letter and the groomer listened patiently to my concerns about my little Levi and his issues. I have been involved in training and showing my dogs competively for more than 30 years. In my opinion Beth Spanski offers the most comprehensive understanding and insight into why dogs are exhibiting behaviors that prevent you from achieving your goal. Her suggestions and directions of "how to" extinguish" unwanted behaviors and develop your dog into becoming the canine companion that you desire are humane, make sense and do-able. In the 10 plus years that I have known her, she only gets better. I am thoroughly supportive of her training technics and methods from early puppy hood to advanced skill sets. I took our dog (adopted from a shelter) to Dogs 101, which is offered by Diamonds In-The-Ruff. This was a great class! Beth offered many helpful tips for dog training. In addition to the standard training elements that you might expect, there were opportunities to accustom the dogs to interacting with people using walkers, people on crutches, or people in wheelchairs. The class was small enough that there was plenty of individualized attention to the dogs. All of the dogs in our group showed noticeable improvement over the course of Dogs 101, and they were very calm about following directions by the end of the set of classes. I plan to take our dog to follow-on classes with Diamonds In-The-Ruff later this summer. read more

I have a school therapy dog that was trained by Beth Spanski/ Diamonds in the Ruff. He is the best dog I have ever owned!! He is so well behaved and loves going to school each day with me to work with the students. He listens well and has become an intricate part of our family. I have been to several different training classes over the last 2 years. They are always well-run and Beth has lots of helpful advice for any problem you may be having with your dog. The emphasis is on rewarding good behavior which the dogs respond well to. read more

Decided to find a groomer close to home & "Wala" there was Underdogs. The owners, Mary & Rachel, are friendly & courteous to everyone. I took 3 of my 5 boys here & was surprised that they plucked the ears & even expressed their anal glands. My guys looked so handsome + they were not stressed as much as with other grooming salons. I plan on taking 2 or 3 of them every 6 weeks while I do the remainder at my home. And yes, they do cats also. The one problem that I see is that they close @ 5:00. This makes it virtually impossible for a working person to get their pets before they close.

They suggested shoes, pads, equiox...I asked about her grain, they said she's not getting that much. I decided to take her off her soy based Essential K. She is now sound and barefoot with no anti-inflammatories. Before this I scheduled to have her joint injected. They over tranquilized her, did not support her head and she ended up falling and tore her lower lip off. They then charged me nearly $800 dollars to sew it back on.
