We went yesterday and the food was fabulous. It has an old school Chinese restaurant feel, and the ladies running it were very attentive. I forgot to photograph the rest of the food because it came out so fresh, we both started eating it immediately. Ordered from the back of the menu that comes with soup, an egg roll, and the meal. The fried rice wasn't my best as it was a bit dry, but the rest of the food was amazing. Loved that our server packed our extra food for us. This place felt like I grew up eating here. As a visitor to the area on business from NJ, stumbled upon this fantastic Chinese Restaurant. Since I love Chinese food, I had to try. The food including the Egg Drop Soup was served piping hot, along with my entree Gong Bow Chicken (aka Kung Pao Chicken). Not too spicy, but just enough to taste without setting your mouth on fire. The server and host were very friendly and courteous. The restaurant provides ample seating (booths and tables) in a nice cultural atmosphere. If you're up for some good Chinese food, then you definitely need to try this place out. They also do a brisk take-out business. read more

This place is a local Canton favorite family favorite. I've been going here since I was a kid. I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here or had to send anything back. From the decor, to the food, to the service always a great experience. My go to is the sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, egg drop soup. I usually get the bowl of soup in place of the egg roll for an upcharge. The crab meat fried wontons (crab rangoons) are awesome and come with a side of warmed up sweet and sour sauce. The sweet n sour chicken has delicious crisp vegetables and warm sweet n sour sauce! Great place for your family, take out, or dates. I love Panda Garden. The name is now New Panda Garden as Mrs Lee retired. No fears all the rest of the staff and cooks are still there and the food is still stellar. Service is always great. Carryout is available and very popular. You walk through a large archway to enter the dining room at the far end is an awesome mural. You do feel you have walked into China. It's not overdone but very pleasant. They have a good mix of booths and tables and a couple large tables that accommodate a group. The quality of the food has remained consistent for over 30 years. The service was absolutely fantastic! The food was incredible! We opted for the Chinese Family Style Dinners and it was such a great deal at only $15.50 per person and you were able to choose your own entree and the portions were huge. There were four of us in our party and we were seated immediately, the restaurant was packed and the carryout orders seemed nonstop. I got the Hunan Chicken it was fantastic. My daughter's boyfriend got the Governors Chicken and we all sampled it and it too was fantastic. My wife got the Chicken Snow Pea Pods and my daughter got the Mongolian Beef. Everything was delicious. The Hot Mustard is authentic also, the kind that really burns your nose holes lol. We cannot wait to go back! This is for sure an old school chinese food restaurant. We were visiting the area and looking for Chinese and stumbled across this place and my husband was pleasantly surprised. It is not very big but for a Sunday evening it was packed and non stop take-out as well. We were seated instantly and our drink order taken and placed some appetizers. We started with the spicy wontons, egg roll, and soup. We ended up ordering crab rangoons later on during the meal after we saw every table ordering them and looked phenomenal. The menu was large with a lot of different options I don't typically see on every menu. My husband got pad thai with shrimp and he loved it, I am on a special diet so I got moo goo gai pan added shrimp but it was lacking any flavor. We have a tradition of getting Chinese when we travel. We have had a lot of so so Chinese. My parents recommended this spot when we visited and it is top notch! A long time standout on the Northside of Canton City, Lee's is a throwback to delicious family owned sit down Chinese places. It's got a great dining room and does a whole lot of carry out. The spicy Gung Bow Beef is fantastic and the portions are large and served piping hot. The waitresses are always good refilling drinks and checking in on the table. I've been attending this restaurant since 1986 . The Governor's Shrimp and Hot and Sour Soup are still beyond compare.

I have so many great things to say about this place. First of all, I've been a customer for over 30 years. The food is wonderful. My children grew up eating here, it's still one of their favorite restaurants. My daughter had her reception dinner here years ago. ( It was a small wedding) Elaine, who is a part owner, IS Panda Gardens. Our whole family loves her. She was a waitress there at one time, and I bet she still remembers what our whole family eats without us telling her. You will definitely have enough food for another meal leftover! Try the crab rangoons, governors chicken, or lemon chicken! The only minus I have is they used to make their own egg rolls, they were the best. I loved going here as a kid (when it was The Dragon Inn) and later as an adult. I used to love it- used to have the best egg rolls, best sweet and sour pork , best fried rice! My hubby and I ordered dinners during Covid - they were decent. But today .... Nope, just nope! I had egg foo young (way over cooked -actually burnt) the chicken with it was chewy and gross. My hubs had governors chicken which he said was good - however, his fried rice was really just steamed rice with a few peas and carrots thrown in with a half a scrambled egg. I said Something to the server and she took the plate - I was thinking she was going to go talk to the owner, or at least the chef, but she came back with a to go box (minus the egg foo young ) ... and that was that - no apology , no excuse, nothing. I have been somewhat of a regular here, and things have been ok, but tonight will be my last visit. I am embarrassed as well. I had someone with me tonight. We were told that any dish could be made as a combo for 3.50 more, so we both upgraded to combo. When we each received our bill, the prices were much higher. When I explained the situation to the owner, she said it was a la cart. Again, I explained that we were told differently. She then said" so sorry... next time you know" she said she would not change the price. I told her that she was losing a good customer, and she said " ok, that's fine". First timer and very impressed. We had a large order and nothing was missing or incorrect (bonus pts). I loved that they use thin, shaved carrot cut instead of the small diced cut. The ONLY reason why I didn't give 5 stars was because the rice was just "kinda fried" and it didn't have any meat or bean sprouts included without asking. I worked there decades ago when it was The Dragon Inn. Many of the favorite dishes from back then are gone. We eat there regularly now. Food is very good. Portions are generous (always have enough for a second meal to take home.) Egg and vegetable rolls are crisp and not greasy. My husband tries a different entree each time and has never been disappointed. I order my food "medium spicy" and it's always right on. The service is attentive and the restaurant and restrooms are spotlessly clean. Prices are quite reasonable. Have never had more than a 5 minute wait for a table. Parking lot is paved and well lighted They've done away with the luncheon menu (dinner menu only) and don't open til 3 pm. read more

I don't know what happened since but my daughter moved right around the corner from them and we've ordered twice since then both times it wasn't very good , dry and not much flavor and prices weren't what we saw when ordering from menu online . Very slow and poor service ... the server had an attitude and was rude. This use to be a restaurant that my spouse and I enjoyed visiting but probably not anymore. The food was blah at best. The sauce on my dish was great but could not save the taste of the dish. Chicken was over cooked and hard to bite into and the vegetables were the same but for the opposite reason they were very raw!! My wife's was dish was almost as bad. Her vegetables were mushy and her sauce was bland but her chicken was tender but overall unpleasant. I guess we are off to Sam's Club to grab a Hot Dog and Drink ... Got take out god here today on my way back to my campground from Cleveland. Called in to order the food and the person who took the order was good at keeping the order straight and gave me an exact time to get my food which was ready at said time. I got the fried dumplings, wonton soup, special fried rice, and orange chicken. I loved the fried dumplings and the sauce that came with it was fantastic. I liked the wanton soup as well although I did need to add a little salt. The fried rice was also exceptional the different flavors of the proteins mixed really well and the rice was flavored enough to balance them together. I did not like the orange chicken though, I thought the sauce was way to liquid and the flavor was not at all wha I wanted. Still though everything else was good enough and the service good enough to earn this restaurant the 4 stars despite my dislike of the chicken. read more

There are so many crappy Chinese restaurants, especially in canton. I had been craving shrimp lo meim for awhile and really didn't want to be let down so I tried Lee's. The first thing I noticed was how polite the lady on the phone was! For some reason that is rare for Chinese restaurants. Long story short the lo mein was amazing! Tons of shrimp, huge portions and just tasted great. Not soupy or too dry. I also had the pot stickers/dumplings and they were also perfect! Crunchy on the outside and tender on the outside.
