Tried to order online, provided an email. Entered my first name. Went ahead, typed in my last name. Entered my phone number, for why I do not know. A bit later I got an email from a third party that I was VERIFIED! Yeah baby, take me to the subs! No. I entered the sub I wanted, was apparently forced to select a 3 dollar beverage that I don't really want. Was force to pick out a bag of chips which, I also don't especially want. I was only trying to get 2 5 inch sized sandwiches. Tried to pay. The system that verified me wouldn't allow me to log in. I really thought I was going to be able to order online, but it didn't work out. The thing is, I live a couple of minutes up the road for the past like 8 years and haven't ever gone in there or ordered. I did try ordering in person a few weeks ago, walked in and the employees were having a grand old time, heck I thought, this will be quick, stood over in front of the register and started waiting. I waited awhile. Guy at table looked to be enjoying his meal. Still waiting. Employees engaged in a jovial conversation. I waited in front of the cash register. Waited a little while more. Left. Two strikes DiBella, can't order online, can't order in person. I'm going to try sending a postcard. That'll work. read more

There are a few key positives. The quality of the ingredients both meat and veggies. The bread is super good. Love the everything bread. Lots of topping choices! All good too! This is a good sandwich and beats most sandwich shops hands down. The rest is where it fails. The dining area tends to be dirty. Tables are not wiped off and it's not kept clean. The service is OK. No one is outstanding or really personable. They help you and make your sandwich but no one is really friendly or has good energy. They are just there. And most importantly the ingredients in the sandwich don't go to the edge of the sandwich. They leave at least 1/2 inch on either end empty and there is nothing. Make it edge to edge. I want to bite into an end and get ingredients, not just bread. Middle full ends empty. I'll still go here. I like the subs but little things are not followed through. Fix those and this is outstanding. read more

Been there a time or two with family. I've seen them without gloves multiple times, and even when gloves were used they did not change them even after the fact of handling fish. Absolutely not! food is delicious so try at your own risk, but if you are allergic to fish, be more careful. read more

Don't bother ordering online. Left work early to pick up my order with a 12pm pick up time and watched as about 6 people who waited in line received their order in minutes. Didn't receive my order until 12:15. Other than that, food is good, place is clean, and employees are nice. Just need a far better system. read more

Best subs! Bread is always do fresh. Every time I come to Solon, I eat here everyday for lunch. The staff is hardworking and polite!

The staff was absolutely terrific!! The person that seemed like the manager was very rude. Both to the staff and the guests. He called me on my cellphone because they "didn't have steak sauce for my veggie sub" which I responded that it was most likely my fiancee's sub, he was already inside and heard the conversation and stood up to clarify and show the online order to this man and as I was in the middle of the sentence that said it was okay and that he was already inside I was hung up on midsentence. I clearly did not add steak sauce on my veggie sub. I than went inside to witness the gentleman scream at the line workers. I was very disgusted with his behavior however the men making our subs continued to smile and complete the order. If you're a fan of DiBella's and have the craving for a godfather, go somewhere else. Subs here are not only dry for a DiBella's, which is usually messy, but they are dry period. I just had the driest sun on the planet, and they mixed up mine and my wife's order. Both subs DRY AF. read more

Great local sub shop. The sign outside says this place had been in business since 1918 and after trying their subs I understand why. This kind of deliciousness never goes out of style. You get to choose the type of sub (I chose Godfather), the type of bread (I chose everything) and the type of cheese (I chose provolone) and then the magic happens. Was in town for a procedure and stopped in to grab some dinner. Walked in around 8pm. 4 staff members looked at me and no one said hello. 1 finally asked if we had an online order. We said "no" and he said it'd be a minute. 8 minutes later watching those 4 employees do every task at the speed of a turtle except helping the customers that wanted to order. It took one employee 45 seconds to wrap a sub with paper. No one had any speed of service or care that they were working in the service industry. Tasty subs! Service can be hit or miss (some employees are definitely friendlier than others), the food always tastes good. My husband's favorite is a hot Godfather on everything bread, while I'm partial to the chicken Philly. The cookies are huge and pretty good! We catered an outdoor party last Sunday and were very pleased with dibellas. We had a great experience from ordering to delivery. I believe they cut each sub into 4 pieces and individually wrapped each one in Saran Wrap which was much appreciated due to Covid concerns. all the condiments were packaged separately and plates, napkins and utensils were included. the food was delivered on time as promised and it was very good. Holy cow. On my way home from the airport after my flight from Texas, my parents and I decided to stop in Solon to grab some dinner at a Chinese restaurant. As we drove down Aurora Road, I looked to the right and saw a building which looked new. Hmm, what's in there? Then I saw the sign, like a beacon calling me in. "DiBella's" Are you serious? I'll no longer have to wait for my random trip to Western New York to get one of these delicious subs? My Christmas gift arrived early. Worst customer service ever! A very mouthy rude employee refused to cash me out because I wasn't wearing a mask. When I informed her I had a medical exemption she got A street attitude and said I don't believe you let me see the paperwork. Then she said something about stupid white people. My friend told me that the cheesesteak here is better than Gyro Bob's in Kent, so we stopped here on a Sunday. I think it may be one of the best in the area.
