First time trying Diced, it was an overall good experience! The place is very hipster. Think: wooden surfaces, string lights, lime green color scheme, simplified menus. The staff was nice and the place was clean. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The prices are moderate...about $8-10 per meal. Now let's talk about the most important part: the food. This is a "build your own" kind of place. You either choose a bowl or a wrap and you fill it with a protein, rice, and whatever sauces and veggies you want. This was a little overwhelming to me at first because they have A LOT of options. I would've liked if they had pre-arranged meals you could choose from instead of just building your own. The food was pretty good. My only complaint was the raw onions were diced and mixed in with the food so they REALLY overpowered the meal. After eating, I smelled completely like onions. Wow. What an amazing option for a fast, healthy, and satisfying lunch! I recently stopped by Diced for a lunch pick-up and I LOVED my bowl! I came in on a weekday afternoon, probably just after the lunch rush. There was no line and the staff was very friendly. You can choose off a menu to build your own salad, wrap or rice bowl or choose one of their signatures. I created my own bowl with brown rice, chicken, shredded cheddar, lettuce, tomato, olives, cilantro and avocado. Having been my first time, they recommended the house sauce on top, which is basically 3 of their most popular sauces drizzled together on top of your bowl. I must say, that was an amazing choice for a sauce because it was delicious, and it saves you the trouble of having to choose! The bowl was prepared fresh, and after waiting only 5 minutes, I took home my piping hot lunch! The bowl was absolutely delicious and it was the perfect amount of food! Not a crazy amount where you regret eating the whole thing, but definitely enough to fill you up. Also, the decor inside was really cute! Super clean, and they have a little patio (although your view is of the main road). They have a good amount of free parking and the location is easy to access right off US 1! I've been to the Diced location on 104th but even though I work about 150 feet from this one I hadn't had a chance to visit it as it's always busy during lunch hour. I finally took a late lunch and was able to visit this location, for starters, it's a cute place, with many tables and a great set up. Essentially it's a chipotle type of place except you order all at once at the register and wait for it to be prepared, they offer veggie options as well as chicken and quinoa and you can load up on tons of veggies. avocado is extra(as usual) and you must try all the sauces, they basically make the meal. The only issue is that to me, the chicken and beans tend to be flavorless, I know they are trying to keep it on the healthy end but healthy doesn't mean tasteless. read more

For what reason, I have no clue. I'm a server and customer service is a big thing in food industry's. This was my first time here and it was DELISH! I got a salad topped with chicken, tomatoes, onions, cilantro and cucumbers. I drizzled tangy, sweet vinaigrette on top and mmm it was amazing. I opted for a smoothie and was pleasantly surprised with how the strawberry, banana mixed sweetly with the spinach. At first, I was skeptical about adding the spinach but boy did I enjoy that. Honestly, I have an obsession with Diced. I first discovered it when I went to the wharf and they have a booth there. When I learned they were opening a location 5 mins away from where I live, I KNEW it was game over. Diced was gonna take all my money and that was the end of that. I get their small rice bowls with chicken, a bunch of toppings, and their garlic cilantro and tomato basil sauce on top. SO incredible. Love the restaurant in Kendall and so happy that they now have a location in South Miami. The parking is not the good because it is one long strip. The entrance is pretty cool with a chair for you to take pictures on. They have outside seating, which is a plus, being that the inside is kind of small. The food was the usual....great! WOW. So I just waited 1 hour for a bowl of rice and chicken that's cold. Waiting outside in the hot sun patiently waiting knowing the whole COVID situation. After waiting 30 minutes I went to the cashier to see what the status was, she literally told me "we don't have time". After 45 minutes my wife called and they said they are trying to find my order. I went inside and I can hear them saying they can't find my order. They use a ticket system and rely on a receipt to know what the orders are. Mine was lost. I end up getting my food 1 hour later and COLD. I hate this place. It's a shame because the food is great. Get it together guys and find staff that don't crack under stress. Perhaps have a competent manager on the floor or a food expediter that knows what to do. read more

Let me start off by saying this is fast food, folks. Fast food. Oh how I long for the days of a 5 dollar lunch. Then again, I remember the 5 dollar martini too so why moan about prices. But as I've said before, the restaurant industry often gets too high on itself to justify its prices and if I'm paying 30 dollars for a high-end fast food lunch, it better make my tongue dance and toes tingle. Didn't happen. Almost..but no, didn't happen. Now before I give you the impression that all is lost, let me reassure you that that's not the case here. I selected a jackfruit salad with quinoa which truth be told, as much as I love jackfruit, I've never had in a fast food restaurant. It added some tomato, onions, cucumber and carrots ( diced of course-duh..) along with a three-combo sauce of tomato basil, spicy guava and garlic pesto, spread evenly on top of the mixed ingredients. Everything was fresh, and it all mixed nicely. Some others have posted reviews on food minus the sauces so make a mental note of that. In the end, it was nothing spectacular enough to make the toes tingle, but easy on the taste buds and satisfying enough for a quick in and out. The restaurant itself is oddly designed with more appealing seating outside than inside. The only drawback of sitting outside on a beautiful day like the one went on is having to have a ringside seat to every rude idiot driving on US1. But if you beat the rush, and catch a chair right before the lunch rush, you won't be disappointed. The parking, or lack thereof, might spell the location's doom so act fast if you want something other than Pollo Tropical, Pollo Loco, Pollo Pollo, or any other Pollo for that matter. I usually get the steak although I am more of a chicken fan. I've had the chicken a few times and every time it was dry and tough.
